On January 27, 2023, I was involved in a car accident with a semi-trailer truck on IH-35 Northbound between Austin and Pflugerville. I sustained multiple injuries, including neck, lower back, knee, and head injuries.
After consulting many law firms in the Austin area, I hired FVF Law to represent me throughout the process. Hope Guardia was assigned to my case, and from day one, she was excellent. I explained my side of the story to her, and she told me that she believed I had a case. She immediately started gathering all the evidence about the accident and started handling the negotiations and claim process with the insurance company.
I was informed every step of the way. Hope would email or call me every time she communicated with the opposing council, and she would also follow up with me after every doctor’s appointment to check on me. She was caring and valued my case.
Hope Guardia and Mark Farris were knowledgeable and had much experience in accident law and settlement procedures.
The case took over 21 months before the settlement was reached because the insurance company was dragging the case. The opposing council kept rejecting every demand that was made by my lawyer until Mark Farris came on board to assist Hope with the case. Mark pushed the insurance company to settle the case or go to court. The first time I spoke to Mark, he assured me that he was going to be very aggressive with the opposing council, and he kept his word. Because of my injuries and all my medical bills, he insisted that the insurance company pay the full policy. Moreover, we ended up going to mediation, and the final settlement amount was very close to our demand. I think the settlement was fair given the circumstances.
All my medical bills have been paid, and I have put some money aside for future medical bills as well.
I hope what happened to me that day will never happen again to me or any of my family members. However, if I ever need an injury lawyer, I will definitely hire FVF Law Firm, especially Hope Guardia and Mark Farris. These two lawyers made me feel like a family member. For that, I am grateful for what an excellent job they did. Thank you, Hope, Mark, and FVF Law, for everything you did to help me get the best settlement in my case. Y’all are forever my lawyers!

I'm an attorney myself, so when it came to choosing an attorney to assist me with applying for disability retirement through the Federal Employees' Retirement System, I tried to do my homework and thoroughly research attorneys and law firms. I spoke with several, and ultimately felt the most comfortable and confident with Mr. Wersing and his team, including Bethany Sissons, a paralegal. They did not disappoint!
From thoroughly explaining the process to me, to giving me clear directives on what I needed to do to help prepare my claim paperwork (it's the government - there's tons of paperwork to gather and complete), to answering my questions, to keeping me informed about where things stood in the process, Mr. Wersing and his team did a great job, and my application was approved on the first try. I credit that in large part to the aforementioned paralegal, Bethany Sissons, staying on top of the development of my paperwork and making sure I had a complete and correct application.
For anyone considering hiring someone to help you with the FERS disability process, the reality is that nobody can do the whole thing for you. There is a lot of back and forth with your agency and a lot of documentation that you, as the employee, have to help gather (even if you're just filling out medical record release forms to send records to the firm, rather than getting your own medical records and forwarding them yourself (which is faster)). But Mr. Wersing and Ms. Sissons broke down the tasks I needed to complete to help them help me into a clear, actionable plan, which, again made the process smooth and, most importantly, successful.
Finally, I found the cost structure extremely fair and reasonable, given the value received.

I had run through at least 20 different firms when trying to find representation for my federal case involving the FDA...and it was so disheartening I had to do this after 21 years of service to that agency at the time...to say it was exhausting and discouraging was an understatement. I found Aaron and his firm after three weeks of searching the internet and calling different firms, who charged ridiculous and outrageous amounts of money for representation...I had reached my wit's end before I found Aaron and his firm. I spoke to him and his staff and started the ball rolling for my case. They worked with me regarding fees and payment, went over the relevant issues, and looked at all scenarios to negotiate a settlement and help me to move from my area to get out from under that mgnt line...the mngt was pacified when they saw I hired this firm and for while they left me alone... I was shocked and surprised that they had attorneys who represented federal employees in their cases...Aaron kept it real and Andrew Young who was representing me at the time, also did. They provided expertise and possible outcomes and worked with me and tried their best to mediate and finally go to EEOC court regarding my issues...it was a long process and I had to keep my documentation in order and fight for myself as well as they, but I COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT THEIR HELP...IT FELT LIKE I WAS FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE AND MY CAREER DEALING WITH THIS FEDERAL AGENCY AND ITS CORRUPT MANAGEMENT LINE...AND I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT AARON AND ANDREW'S HELP...I am happier now as I have moved from the previous mngt line and their branch and Aaron and Andrew had negotiated a settlement agreement with the FDA for my restitution...but again I COULD NEVER HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT THEIR HELP...fighting the govt is exhausting, disheartening, full of pitfalls and dishonest mgnt people and can make you question your life's purpose, but I am grateful to have found this firm and its attorneys...this is a true account and someday I will write a book about my struggles and those who helped me.

Kevin's reviews speak for themselves. I had a possession case and an unlawful carry of a firearm that was over two years old and it had already been dismissed once and then been reopened another year later so it really threw me for a surprise I didn't know what to do my life depended on not having the consequences of those since my life had dramatically changed for the better. I did a little research looked up different attorneys in the area and when I seen Kevin's reviews I knew I had to call him. The whole process was super easy and my cases got dismissed I didn't have to do anything but work hard and make sure I paid Kevin. Luckily I had a good month and it was easy for me but for other people you can't put a price on your freedom and Kevin knows that and he will work with you. If you are looking for a criminal defense attorney… look no further. Kevin is extremely professional, thorough, and responsive. He alleviated alot of mental stress throughout the process of my case (misdemeanor criminal mischief), which ultimately got dismissed. His consultation is very straightforward and informative and his communication is excellent. He put together a great plan for me to execute prior to my initial court date and I only had to appear in court once out of 4 total court days. Even with video evidence, a police report, an arrest, a criminal background and an angry plaintiff stacking against me… Kevin pushed and with restitution paid, he got the case dismissed. My friend’s license got revoked because of the mistake on her address. He took my friend’s call and worked on her case right away, and got her license reinstated within 7 weeks, though not fully dismissed but he and his team are working tirelessly to restore my friend’s license back, and we are confident that they will. I've been a board certified Registered Nurse since 2015. Pediatrics has always been my back ground. In 2020 I worked PRN for a home health company and met the sweetest little boy. He is trach/vent dependent, immobile, and non verbal. He was fully dependent on nurses and his mom. In February 2021 I decided to go full time. I was working over 60 hours a week helping his mom care for him. The BON and nursing school they tell you not to get attached to patients. That's harder said than done. His mom and I became great friends. We are both single mothers. Well, by fall of 2022 I started working less and dating. The mom was irritated because I wasn't there. Mind you, I still worked 40 hours. Every day I would come to work and this poor kid was filthy. Diaper overflowing, trach was disgusting. Mom and I started to be irritated with each other. He was on seizure precautions and the lights had to be off or dim. In October 2022 she called the office and accused me of sleeping. Of course that's a big violation. I was let go (my boss came in the morning, I wasn't told I would be let go until after my shift was completed) weird how the mom felt I was endangering her child yet let me stay another 12 hours. 🙄 Well the company filed a complaint with the Texas BON. I was terrified to lose my license. I'm a single mother and didn't know what I would do. I reached out to Yong on the last few days of the cut off to respond to the Board (I procrastinate). He was able to stop any action the board would have taken. He video chatted with my that night and discussed details. He made me feel comfortable and helped ease my anxiety on the matter! I barely had to do anything after I hired him. A few documents and a written paper on "why I wanted to be a nurse" easy right? I finally received the news yesterday that the BON dismissed the case and expunged it from my record!! So from 10/22-6/24 Yong took care of my case! I don't think I would have been able to do it alone! Thank you so very much Yong! You guys... I highly recommend him!!

I was referred to Blayre’s practice by an attorney that I know and trust. He described her as “great” and “solid”. That’s high praise from an experienced partner at a different firm. I was immediately impressed when I called and spoke with a paralegal who took down the basics of my case to refer to the legal team. He was patient and caring, and he didn’t brush me off because I needed a consultation within 24 hours or because this would be a small matter per their usual case size. He called back in a couple hours and let me know that they weren’t able to help me in such a short timeframe, which I totally understood. The thing that caused me to write this review is that he went above and beyond what any other attorney or firm has done—he emailed me a few referrals as well as links to free legal advice and other resources! This shows me that this practice cares about helping people even if they’re not profiting from it. I will definitely call Blayre Peña in the future if God-forbid I’m up against another legal hurdle.

Attorney Loretta Keller, is hands down the VERY best, most professional, efficient, effective & let’s not forget to mention, an absolute BOSS in the courtroom & outside of it. In 2016-2017 Loretta helped me fight to get my children back. The TX CPS Office we were dealing with, switched me to a different case worker- who did nothing but LIE & didnall she could to try and destroy my relationship with my children, get my rights terminated, & who wouldn’t allow me more than 2 supervised visitations a month (while I was in OK). Oh yeah, the most important part is that my children & I only lived in TX for less than 31 days- My children were with me in OK- & in no way shape or form in any danger, let alone Imminent Danger, the police proved that to the 1st case worker & ‘she didn’t believe them’ - & thus illegally custody of my children was taken & they placed them with toxic & substance abusing extended family. My aunt knew the original case worker (the one she called to get a case going, due to finding out we were moving back to OK) to remove us from the toxic, unhealthy situation & upon a judge signing the warrant to take my babies, that 1st Case Worker excused herself immediately- I’m assuming she did this so not to get caught fabricating a CPS Case for a “friend” & my children were therefore illegally seized. Loretta had her work cut out for her- My extended family is extremely narcissistic, my past is ugly, & the CPS office we were dealing with were obviously, & ‘Allegedly’ acting corruptly. She fought & pushed, & won my case 4 days before it would have gone to trial. If you ever have family problems concerning your children- you NEED & WANT Loretta Keller representing you. She does not mess around, and you better be ready to do WHATEVER she tells you. Trust her, it’s in your best interest & she is an Attorney with real morals. That is near impossible to find anymore. Seek out Loretta Keller, you will not regret it. Thanks Loretta, I never did get to thank you, or explain things that happened afterwards- but I’d love to send you a picture of My babies, Myself, My husband (still Bryan 🥹🥰) we’re one giant happy family and it’s truly all thanks to you!!!

Our son, an E3 stationed at Fort Liberty, North Carolina, was falsely accused of an Article 120, sexual assault, in a worst-case scenario; charges were brought early in 2024, shortly after the military’s new process of prosecution began, coupled with a huge shuffle in his chain-of-command that created a lack of interest/understanding in the case by his leadership.
Without the expertise and guidance of Jordan’s team, our son would have fallen through the cracks and been separated from the Army. If you want a defense attorney to coddle you like you mom, Mr. Jordan isn't for you. But if you want someone that fights for you life, but will shoot you straight every time. He is your guy. Mr. Jordan cares, he shows it by the amount of work he puts in.
Its hard not to get emotional when talking about attorney Joseph Jordan. To say he is one of the best in the business is in understatement.
