A. How did we hire her?
1. God lead us to her: we reseached and found her contact on registered Southern California
Immigration Lawyer Association website; we did not read any reviews; we followed our intuition
and trusted that God has chosen her to save us out of a very desperate situation;
2. we were treated inhumanly by all the lawyers we contacted before her, our situation was very
critical and the other lawyers
(a) did not want to properly assess our situation
(b) all they wanted from the beginning was exorbitant fees and did not look like they cared at all
(c) what was very ironic is that our case was actually a corporate immigration case and if they
were willing to attend to us and give us free consultation then it would have lead to a contract
where the employer would have paid them
(d) fortunately for us that they did not take on our case because they would have messed up
and so they missed out on a very valuable opportunity to represent us and do what is right
but so all we have learnt is that there is a lot of very bad immigration lawyers out there
(e) THANK GOD for Marlene Hemmings she will first determine if there is any merit for your case,
she will first for free do an indepth study, analysis, research to determine if it can be resolved
and if not she will honestly tell you if she can take on your case or not, so she will not waste
your time or money
C. WHAT DID SHE DO FOR US:
1. She saved our lives because she immediately realized what our problem was
it was circumstances beyond our control that ultimately and unfairly would have destroyed us
2. We did everything honestly and right our whole lives, we are very good human beings and
global citizens and Marlene saw immediately how unfair we were treated
3. if it was not for her immediate and dilligent action we would not have any life today
Marlene responded so quickly and knew exactly what to do to remedy our problem
4. she helped us by simplifying the whole process so that it was easy

I was recommended John by a friend who had used his counsel for her permanent residency application. John helped me with my citizenship application and later also helped with my parents application for permanent residency through consular processing. My parents case was difficult due to lack of their original birth and marriage certificates and even my birth certificate. Thanks to his expert advise, both my parents got their papers.
I really like the fact that he charged a fixed fee for the case and helped all the way to the end.

It's hard to find a good lawyer these days. Most will give you empty promises and lead you down a confusing road. Not Mr. Nelson which is a very bright and honest man. If he knows he can help you he will tell you straight up. There are a lot of frivolous attorneys out there. Don't let anyone take your time and money. Mr. Nelson helped me get my citizenship when I thought I was going to get deported! Go see Mr. Nelson - you won't regret it.

I met Alli in early 2016 when I was first embarking on a journey to go from A2 visa to Green Card (I'm a UK expat living in LA). Given my personal situation at the time I figured my options for staying in the US permanently were going to be limited. However upon meeting and consulting Alli (and a number of other attorneys who I talked with at the time) I sensed her strategic approach and knowledge of latest immigration policy would pay off (Alli was up on new policy which other attorneys whom I vetted missed, which would later have caused me issues). Long story short, thanks to Attorney Chavez and her legal assistant Mayra Barrera, my case got recently approved. An attorney who is not specialized in immigration let me know their firm and I had been interested to work with Attorney Chavez in particular among multiple attorneys in the firm due to her speciality and thankfully she took my case in the end of the same year. I had a phone consultation with a few other immigration attorneys in my area and it turned out Attorney Chavez is very outstanding and seems to keep abreast of immigration law that keeps changing. I was referred to Raul Gomez and Associates. In the fall of 2010. At that time I had been working on Irma’s immigration petition since January of 2006. We had already been to the US Consulate in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico three times and we had been denied the Visa on each of those three occasions. We had been working with another Los Angeles based attorney who after the first trip and negated attempt at the Visa, decided he no longer wanted to handle our case due to its low probability of success. We met with another immigration attorney who, after reviewing the existing case, told us that we had absolutely no chance of obtaining the visa; that the best we could do is to live our lives and in ten years or so to try again. It was at this point that I began making plans to move to Mexico to start a life with Irma in her country, where at least I would be welcome as an immigrant.
However, in a last ditch effort and as one might expect, with somewhat low expectations, I met with Mr. Gomez in December of 2010. After discussing our situation and his brief review of our case Mr. Gomez told me that he felt his firm could build a better case, one that should work and as he put it “after all, sooner or later they have to give her the Visa”. He was professional, courteous, personable and generous with his time. He gave us the first glimmer of hope we´d had since beginning the process in 2006 and it was all I needed. Later that night I called Irma, who was living in Tijuana, and I told her of the meeting. We both agreed that with this lawyer we had a chance.
Throughout 2011 and 2012 I visited the law office several times and worked with his staff in an effort to provide the necessary documentation and information to build the case. His staff was caring, professional and interested in our case and the difficulty of our situation. Over time I sensed that our efforts would be successful, which turned out to be an accurate premonition.
After two more visits to Ciudad Juarez in 2012, Irma was granted her Visa on 10/29/2012, and arrived at our house in Burbank on Halloween day 10/31/2012. I will never forget the feeling of joy, elation and relief I felt; nor the look on Irma’s face when she arrived that day. A seven year long effort had finally culminated in her obtaining her US Resident Visa and we were to embark on a new phase of our lives.
Irma and I owe a great deal of the life we now lead to Raul Gomez and his associates. Their dedication and hard work helped us immeasurably and I believe our lives would be very different today if not for them. We offer our sincere gratitude to Mr. Gomez and his entire firm, with a special thanks to Nora Garcia for being so kind and attentive.

You may doubt her experiences based on her age, but I want to tell you, that's totally WRONG! Don't judge an excellent beautiful lawyer by her age, but by her knowledge and wisdom. Reami is the one who changed my assumption and opinion for a young lawyer after our first conversation, even thought she only worked as a licensed lawyer for 4 years, her professorial analyses and adjustments may make you feel she has stayed in this field for 40 years. Before I went to her, I talked with another lawyer who has been worked in this field for 35 years, but he was not confident about my case because my sponsored company is not very big. But after my boss and I talked with Raemi about my case, she agreed with my employer that I was the best fit for this job. Definitely she was very confident on my case, and she is RIGHT! I appreciate that she didn't give up my case and helped me.
Reami is very efficient. I met her in Feb, and we had only one and half month to prepare all the required documents for the H1-B application, and we made it. I like the way that she sent all the required information with me and be cleared with me what I have to prepare. She shared all the update information and documents with me all the time. We had all the paper work done by April 1.
Also, I really enjoy working with her because she is a very good communicator. We hired Raemi when our brother was facing deportation. This was an especially difficult option, as he does not speak Spanish and has lived in the U.S. since he was 3 years old. Needless to say, our entire family was extremely distraught. Raemi went above and beyond, compiling more than was needed for his case. I spoke with Andy on multiple occasions regarding completely different advice. One was for someone that received a DUI and another for a person legally separating with kids involved. Although I know him personally, he was very professional, as he always is. This lawyer is the most knowledgeable and honest lawyer I have met. My husband had gone to 7 different lawyers before her and none of the lawyers told him what she told him. He immigrated in less than 3 months of course each case is different but if your tired of not finding an honest and knowledgeable lawyer please look no more go with her first you will not regret it and believe me she's not after your money like most lawyers are. Sharon is also very rigorous and experienced. After I got back to U.S from China, she asked me to make a copy of my visa page and I94 info for documentation. She found out that the custom officer wrote a wrong expiration date on my passport which could cause me huge trouble in future. I contacted Attorney Momal regarding my K1 fiancee visa. Several issues I was concerned with my application and especially issues with more proof to the US embassy of my sustained income.
Miss Momal was very accommodating and gave me many option to visit her office in Montebello, CA.

Been dealing with richard since 2013, was reccomend by a close friend, best immigration lawyer in California in my opinion, helped from the starting with filling papers and tall us me and my wife, exactly what we need documents and pics of when I got married in 2014, got married and received permanent resident card within 4 months, was very happy, in 2016 he helped me again get my permanent resident card for 10 years the final one, theres a 2 year like probation to see if everything is ok helped us file papers and was at the appt. With immigration also first time and this time, received permanent resident within 4 months , lost my card in august 2017 richard again , filled out papers for me and card was at my home within 6 months, very happy with richard rapresenting me, prices are very reasonable and he his a straight forward person will leave no details out, this coming April I will be alligiable for citizen, will be using richard again, maybe the last time but will always reccomend if you need a Visa or just something simple like replacing a card, papers or anything to do with immigration, having richard at your side makes feel at ease, dont want to feel anxious for months thinking I filed something wrong, cause if you only get a letter wrong they might expand time of months if not years, thank you richard see you in april.
