Attorney Saint Jour represented me for a personal injury case. He was referred by a previous client and he did a great job explaining the process to me. It was a very hard time in my life because I could not work for awhile because of my injury. Having a great lawyer helped me to deal with a very tough situation.

I hired Attorney Saint Jour for a Personal Injury case and he did a great job on the case. He kept me informed and he fought for me when the insurance company was trying to deny my claim. I was very happy with the way he approached the case and the way he guided me through the process. I did not have to talk to a case manager or some paralegal. I spoke to my lawyer about my case. The whole process was very frustrating since I could not work and I was in constant pain. I am happy Greg was lawyer.

I hired attorney Saint Jour at the Saint Jour Law Firm to handle a Divorce with minor children for me. I had a previous attorney that did not do much and hired attorney Saint Jour. He was very understanding and kept me well informed. He explained the process to me thoroughly. He was very prompt in returning my calls and did an excellent job on the case. I was very satisfied with the result of my case as it relates to my time sharing and child support. I was lucky to have an attorney who was understanding and competent in my corner in this very difficult time in my life.

This lawyer has been fantastic for me and my family. We were really injured. He fought the insurance company even after they denied the claim saying that the accident was my fault, which was not true at all! Brion answered his phone every time and was kind and professional. You will be happy with this lawyer.

You are better off doing everything yourself rather than hiring this attorney. Even if you don't know what you are doing, you will make the same mistakes he does and not be out the cost for nothing. I've thought about standing in front of his office with a sign warning people not to hire him. When I can figure out a way to report him I will. I'll do whatever I can to share the word about how horrible this guy treated us. We filed for a k1 visa, I filled out the entire set of documents and took them to him, I did all of the document gathering and populating every question and reviewing everything multiple times. Nothing was missing and nothing else was requested. I did all the work for him first. Paid him and made it VERY clear that the reason I was hiring him is because I didn't want any mistakes, and I did all the work so that it would be easier and faster for him to get through his part and catch anything that might be needed that I missed. First thing he did was get our case rejected because he didn't send my payment to USCIS with the application, I called multiple times but couldn't get him to return my call, so I finally flew back to the USA and drove over there and was lambasted for not making an appointment, then when asked about it he became belligerent and blamed the credit card company and the processor instead of accepting responsibility for it. That cost us 2 months of our lives apart from my fiancé. Then we finally get a noa1, after that we waited the expected time and received a request for evidence, I called him multiple times before I could get him on the phone again because I didn't understand what they were asking for, he forgot to fill out the questions about the beneficiary having never been in any trouble with the law. That cost us another 2 months together. I demanded a refund and he came up with every lame excuse an irresponsible person could come up with instead of attempting any kind of resolution to serve his client. I begged him to communicate better and focus on small details, his response was "why does everyone always say that to me". Seriously, he said that, I'll lay my hand on a bible. I responded with "if EVERYONE is saying that maybe you should start listening". He just stood there staring at me, lights were on but nobody was home, then he started slapping his knees, becoming very animated, almost in a threatening manner while making more excuses. This man WILL NOT accept responsibility for his actions or mistakes. Everything is always someone else's fault. I'm sharing this warning to everyone sincerely, if you do business with him, you will undoubtedly regret it and deeply so. I've waited so long to post this review because I finally got my fiancé here myself, I truly feared after the way he has acted that he might attempt to sabotage my fiancé and I's process. I want my money back Mr. CHO minus the USCIS fees of course. I will not stop telling EVERYONE who will listen how horrible you are until you man up and refund me the money I wasted hiring you.

I’ve had my case ongoing for almost 10 years my papers bouncing around I had three lawyers prior to Mr Chow. His wife and assistant made me feel like family Mr Cho made me and my husband felt confident he kept us open to everything unlike the ones I had just shoving papers to sign, I strongly recommend him and is extremely grateful I cried today because I finally got my approval with his help and knowledge of the services he provides. Thanks again mr and Mrs Cho for keeping my family together.

He is always extremely patient and takes the time to listen and understand the unique facts of our cases. Mr Cho's advice is both practical and logical and I will be highly in recommending to my big family, relatives and friends any time or any time in the future. My husband and I both are so thankful to Mr Cho,with his help, our son is living with us now. My brother and sister also will choose him as immigration attorney. Because he is the BEST!

she was basically negligent, and incredibly disorganized. About 2 years into our case we received a letter from her office that she had been suspended for 21 days. This prompted me to check her record only to discover she had 6 other clients filing complaints against her at the supreme court level.. By the time my case was over I should have filed a complaint too. Being from out of state most of the paperwork i filled out had to be sent through mail. (another lawyer i had concurrently, in my state, would fill these out for me.) She would mail me documents to fill out and i mailed them back for her to send to the immigration department. She forgot to send one of the time sensitive documents that I sent to her by its deadline. We also paid for another immigration document to be filed and she lost the accompanying check. She would forget to bring necessary documents to critical court appearances and before our first hearing she had ME photocopy all of the documents for the hearing because she forgot to bring them. In this instance i Also had to figure out which of my personal documents were relevant to the case to give to the prosecutor and photocopy all of those too. She asked me to do this THE NIGHT BEFORE our hearing. I had to make 3 copies of everything. Literally took hours because i wasnt sure what was important so i copied it all. At our final hearing she was over an hour late. Thankfully they had not called our case because being from over 1000 miles away, rescheduling would have been a tremendous burden for us. I was a nervous wreck. And when she finally did show up, once again, she forgot an important document necessary to our case; proof of the previous judge's favorable verdict. (the location of immigration court was changed to Bradenton, and our previous judge had passed away, so this type of document wasn't easy to locate and was very important.) fortunately i had this with me, but never knew how important it was to the case. Was never told. I just always had everything with me. Now she came with a box of papers. Dont know why she didn't have something so necessary with her and not even know it until the day of. She was totally unprepared. Ultimately, 4 years later, we had a decision in our favor, but working with her was a nightmare. i never trusted her to do anything completely or timely or correctly. She was incompetent.

This office is absolutely here for your money. If you are not in deportation status you are put on the back burner. I cannot tell you how many times I had to call and get the ball rolling because we were forgotten. The communication skills are lacking. If you call and leave a message you expect a call, text or email back within a week. Many times there was NO response and I would have to call and remind them what we were waiting on. Bassey was never at any of our hearings because my husband was not a deportation risk. He would send a substitute. He also never read the file before we had an appointment. He assumed our case was one way, when in fact it was not. Then we would have to remind him what stage of the process we were in. They also wanted to close our case and start over when we were to the final stages of my husband getting his green card, so that they could charge us another retainer fee for a new case. If they know you can pay, they will milk you. They make you come into the office for senseless things. They had my husband take off of work and we met there and had an appointment at 3 and they were late and come to find out I literally just needed to sign ONE LINE on paperwork. They had stated the day before that we were to meet with the attorney and that never happened that day. I could have went by myself and my husband didn't have to take off of work. They make a big deal out of little things. They want you to run and jump thru hoops and then THEY do not follow up. It took us 7 years for my husband to get his green card with them. Granted there was Covid shutdown in the middle but after the courts opened back up they drug their feet to get the case in front of a judge again. I am sure that they take advantage of a very vulnerable population. Their clients are at their mercy and they are fully taking advantage of those people and their situations. Please take your business elsewhere, where the attorneys and staff truly care about helping you get what you need done and not draining funds.

Bassey Immigration Law center was recommended to me by a friend who is a former client of Attorney Bassey. He was so satisfied with the services they provided for him that he assured me i will get the same satisfaction. Bassey immigration law center in my opinion is the best immigration law firm in the United States. They showed me that they were not interested in the money but rather in performing a humanitarian service. They kept me informed at every step of the process, and they have very excellent customer service from the receptionist, to their Paralegals to the Attorney. They are always available to answer all my questions. I had some difficulties with the finances and they were very understandable and flexible. They showed me they were more interested in making sure that my rights were protected than they money they were going to receive from their services. They have the fairest and most moderate of legal fees for the kind of satisfaction they provide from their services. I have friends who have spent over $10,000 dollars in legal fees to other law firms for immigration related purposes and still have not being able to get their immigration related relief/benefits, Bassey Immigration law firm charged me a small fraction of that amount and i have received my immigration benefits with full satisfaction from the process they undertook. Choose Bassey Immigration law firm and i can guarantee you that you that you will be satisfied and you will receive your immigration benefits. They are really humanitarian and will fight for you till you are satisfied and have received your immigration benefits.

My mom and I had the displeasure of talking with Cynthia Nunn from Leighton Law to discuss going after Orlando Health for their negligence in treating my dad's cancer, which led to his passing. Not only did she make us relive our nightmarish story that we had already submitted online, she wasted our time by shutting us down immediately. If she was going to say no, why make us relive the trauma? To add insult to injury, she was actually defending the negligent doctors in question and straight up told us that our loved one was going to die anyway. Whether that was true or not, you do not just say that so nonchalantly to other people. You would not like that if someone said that about your dad. I am almost glad they did not take our case because I would rather deal with the devil himself than deal with Cynthia and Leighton Law after the added emotional damage she did to us.

I wouldn’t hire his so called attorney if he was the last one on the planet! I saw this guy have himself removed from a young lady’s case in St. Lucie county courts and refused to give her back her $5,000.! And didn’t do a thing for her! This guy has a HUGE surprise coming because I have followed this case, where the St. Lucie courts have drug it out for 2 years with no evidence, and now the evidence this young lady asked this so called attorney to get, which he told her didn’t matter, is now coming into play and even the judge told the prosecutor and her current attorney she had every right to it they were violating Brady law! Oops! Now she has this guy on that fact and she is going to the Florida Bar Association about him and his misrepresentation and failure to perform his duties under Brady law. So hopes he reads this and looks into his cases and realizes how screwed he now is! Will definitely update this later on what happens to him over this case. Lawsuit in process so stay away from this law office.

TERRIBLE ATTORNEYThis attorney is incompetent and does not represent clients well. He took on a car accident case and misled his client for two years indicating they had a claim and he was working on the case. He failed to zealously represent his client, he did not even conduct one deposition of the opposing side after he filed suit. DO NOT WASTE your time, hire an attorney with proven succes and competence. This attorney withdrew his representation right before case was scheduled for trial because he did not feel confident to go in court. His incompetence cost me 2 vamuable years and set my case back. You will regret hiring this Attorney...DO NOT do it...go with an established firm. Moreover, he never answers his phone and it is impossible to get in contact with him. I absolutely do not recommend Juan Mendoza or their staff. My case was dropped with no explanation as to why it was. I talked to three different lawyers and I got a totally different answers than from him. They will just take your money. If my husband had no chance to get papers and he knew all along why give false hopes and just take over 6 thousand dollars from us. Also, when they needed to contact us for whatever it was that they needed for my husbands process they never contacted me, they went to my husband and I called to ask for more information they would tell me that they had already talked to him. Furthermore, when I had questions about legal matters he would never be available to talk over the phone and would make me come to him and would never take payments with card, they always needed to be cash. Kind of sketchy huh? If I had the possibility to give ZERO stars I absolutely would.

I will start by saying I am more confused and disgusted than I am angry. My husband and I called around to several lawyers and landed on Mr.Tulin, because he was purported as “the best in the business”. After the experience we had with his service - or the lack thereof - I hardly believe that to be true. Other lawyers even refused to touch our case once they heard he was on it, and yet it produced nothing but a year and a half of heartache and financial setback. We initiated contact with Mr.Tulin in October of 2021 due to some poor decisions the mother of my husband’s daughter was making that would remove the child from his life. In Mr.Tulin’s own words, he “could have her served in two weeks”. Two weeks turned into 2 months with nothing to show, and with the mother moving out of state with the child that December. Mr.Tulin reached out to warn the mother against such action - when he had no legal backing to do so - and she cut all communication with the child’s father immediately. The child’s father lost 6 months worth of his child’s life because a foolish and baseless decision Mr.Tulin made. It became a year and four months of fake updates on our case from his assistant, missed phone calls, missed meetings, multiple Case Management court dates that served no purpose since the other party never got served, months back-to-back with no communication whatsoever, to the point I began preparation to report him to the Florida BAR. When we finally were able to reestablish contact with the child without the help of Mr.Tulin, it was anguishing to hear how heartbroken she was over the lack of access to her own father. Mr.Tulin treated our case like a neighbor’s dispute over a fence line. He had no interest and dedicated no time to us whatsoever. He even admitted in our last virtual meeting in November 2022 that “he’d not charge us through the final decision because he’d dropped the ball on our case”. Months passed with zero action and no updates from him, and we ended up dismissing him from the case in May 2023 requesting a refund, of the which he didn’t even have the courtesy to provide being that he basically admitted to doing nothing of value on our behalf. I will be pursuing a report to the Florida BAR soon since he couldn’t bother to refund us, and because I can only imagine the numerous others that have lost valuable time with family because of him. I expected so much better with all the lauding and fanfare I heard, and instead we’re left with less than we started with, thanks to Mr.Tulin’s negligence and irresponsible handling of our case. I understand there’s no guarantee when it comes to the court system, but I find it hard to claim such when nothing is done to prove that statement. I’m sorry we ever encountered Mr.Tulin, and to those who’ve had the misfortune of being put out of thousands of dollars as we have, I encourage you to file a formal complaint with the Florida BAR as well.

Thank goodness my real defense with the FAA was handled by my son. My son Casey does not have a law degree but he managed to put together a defense for myself and my small company and we received a dismissal from the FAA. Jeff sent documents in black and white instead of color to the FAA. Had those documents been sent in color the FAA would more likely than not have never brought the charges against my company that they did. After we hand carried the color photo to Atlanta to the FAA several of the allegations that Jim Stein (another attorney) brought against my company were dropped. In color the photo clearly shows the areas that Ryan Patanaphan's office had a misconception about. Yes the FAA has "misconceptions" just like the rest of us. Jeff pays no attention to detail. He failed to spell my name correctly and sometimes I was Kathy other times I was Cathy. This went on for about a year! He advised us to continue to operate onto a federally funded airport after the police had shut us down. (Jeff did not understand that we had property right next to the airport and approval to use that property.) My concern is that an attorney can incorrectly advise his client and then the client is forced to retain more legal assistance. The only reason we stayed with Jeff is I did not think that AOPA legal would cover us if we moved to another law firm. AOPA's Mike Yodice has advised us that Jeff agreed when he signed up with AOPA to only charge what AOPA is willing to pay. Jeff charged an extra $3132.00 that he is unwilling to give back to a client that was living out of her car while he defended us. Repeatedly he advised me to take whatever "settlement" the FAA offered. Just prior to our dismissal Jeff wrote me an email advising me that it he would require a $10,000 retainer if we took our case to the next level. Once again advising his client to admit to something we did not do while he chose to charge us $100.00 more an hour than his agreement with AOPA legal. Jeff Ludwig is everything that is wrong with the American Judicial system today.

I have retained Jeff Ludwig on several occasions over the last five years and in each case he was very responsive, professional, knowledgeable and kept me up to date on the case via emails and personal phone calls. I always felt he had my best interest at hand. I have used other attorneys in the past for both business and personal matters but never have I been so satisfied with an attorney. He's a great guy to boot!

A lawyer that never keeps you updated. If you ever need anything done fast find another lawyer don’t pick this one, I had a case pending for three years because of this lawyer and nothing was done. My family and I had to change lawyers for something to be done. This lawyer only wants money and will drag out you’re case as long as he can to run you dry.

My sister (minor back then) and I hired this lawyer for our asylum case in 2019, in one of the appointments we had with him and his rude translator, he lost his patience punching the table we were sitting in, he left the room “to get some air” my sister and I were really scared since his attitude was not professional at all, we never wanted to go back to his office, that was very inappropriate.

Thanks to the excellent services of the lawyer Federico Maciá, and his great team, I managed to obtain the Green Card. I have worked with him since 2014, in 2015 I obtained the approval of the L1 work visa, in 2016 I obtained the renewal and in the year 2017 we approved the residency.

I had a previous attorney who was not responsive to my case and my desire to become a permanent resident. I was referred to Mr. Levine by a friend and not only did he propose a plan that would lead me to my goal, he was able to help me reach my goal and now I am a permanent residence. I thank him and his staff for all their attention and help during this long process.

I had a very complicated case and was referred by a friend to his office. Mr. Levine carefully reviewed my immigration case which was first turned down by the Immigration office. He refiled my application and attended my marriage interview at the local Immigration office and it was approved. Many thanks to Mr. Levine and staff.

I had an order of deportation, and he took my case with the hopes that he was going to help. However was never accessible and never really followed up on the case. He gave sole control of the case to one his associates who was a new grad, and his parallegal who clearly did not have enough knowledge/experience to handle my case. My spouse and I expressed our concerns, but nothing really changed. Needless to say that the case went south. We had to get another attorney, who turned things around which I am grateful for. Mr. Levine by my observation bites more than he can chew at the expense of his clients' future. The sad thing part is that he does not own to up it and continues to practice in that manner.

What an Immigration Lawyer Can Do for You

An immigration lawyer specializes in helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate the complex immigration process. These lawyers provide legal guidance on various immigration matters, such as obtaining visas, gaining permanent residency (green cards), applying for citizenship, and defending clients in deportation or removal proceedings. Immigration lawyers also assist with employment-based immigration, asylum applications, and resolving issues related to visas or immigration status.

Whether you're trying to immigrate to the U.S., facing deportation, or sponsoring an employee or family member for a visa, an immigration lawyer can help you understand your legal options and navigate the often complicated legal system.

When Should I Hire an Immigration Lawyer?

Hiring an immigration lawyer is beneficial in many situations where you are dealing with U.S. immigration laws, whether for personal or business reasons. Common reasons to hire an immigration lawyer include:

  • Visa applications: If you need assistance applying for a visa, whether it's a work visa (H-1B), student visa (F-1), or tourist visa (B-1/B-2), a lawyer can help ensure the application is properly completed and submitted.
  • Green card applications: If you're seeking permanent residency, an immigration lawyer can guide you through the process, whether through family sponsorship, employment, or the Diversity Visa (lottery) program.
  • Deportation or removal defense: If you’re facing deportation or removal from the U.S., a lawyer can defend your case in immigration court and seek to prevent removal.
  • Asylum applications: If you’re seeking asylum due to persecution or fear of persecution in your home country, a lawyer can help you prepare a strong case and file for asylum.
  • Family reunification: If you're a U.S. citizen or permanent resident looking to bring family members to the U.S., a lawyer can assist with the family sponsorship process.
  • Citizenship and naturalization: If you're ready to apply for U.S. citizenship, a lawyer can help you navigate the naturalization process and ensure you meet all the requirements.
  • Business immigration: If you're an employer seeking to hire foreign workers, a lawyer can assist with employment-based visas, labor certification, and compliance with immigration regulations.
  • Special immigration categories: Immigration lawyers also handle complex cases, such as visas for victims of human trafficking (T visa), crime victims (U visa), or those seeking Temporary Protected Status (TPS).

Hiring an immigration lawyer early in the process can help you avoid delays, errors, and possible denials due to incomplete or incorrect applications.

What Does an Immigration Lawyer Do?

An immigration lawyer provides a wide range of services to help clients with their immigration needs, whether personal or business-related. Their tasks often include:

  • Assisting with visa applications: Helping clients fill out and submit visa applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Filing for green cards and permanent residency: Guiding clients through the process of applying for a green card, including family-based, employment-based, or other forms of residency.
  • Defending against deportation or removal: Representing clients in immigration court who are facing deportation and working to prevent removal from the U.S.
  • Preparing asylum cases: Assisting clients in applying for asylum based on fear of persecution in their home country due to race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group.
  • Handling citizenship applications: Helping lawful permanent residents apply for naturalization and ensuring they meet all the legal requirements for U.S. citizenship.
  • Employment-based immigration: Assisting employers with the process of sponsoring foreign workers for temporary or permanent visas, including H-1B, L-1, and EB-1 through EB-5 visas.
  • Representation in immigration interviews: Preparing clients for immigration interviews and attending interviews at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) offices.
  • Appealing denied applications: If a visa, green card, or citizenship application is denied, a lawyer can file appeals or motions to reopen or reconsider the case.

How Are Immigration Lawyers Paid?

Immigration lawyers generally charge for their services based on the type of immigration case and the complexity of the legal work involved. Common payment structures include:

  • Flat fee: Many immigration lawyers charge a flat fee for specific services, such as preparing a visa application, green card petition, or citizenship application. Flat fees help clients know upfront what the legal costs will be for a particular service.
  • Hourly rate: For more complex cases, such as deportation defense or appeals, some lawyers charge by the hour. Hourly rates vary depending on the lawyer's experience and the complexity of the case.
  • Retainer: For ongoing immigration matters, some clients may need to pay a retainer, which is an upfront payment billed against as the lawyer works on the case.
  • Pro bono or sliding scale: Some immigration lawyers or nonprofit organizations may offer free or low-cost services for clients with limited financial means, particularly in asylum or humanitarian cases.

It’s essential to discuss the fee structure with your lawyer during the initial consultation to understand the costs and payment arrangements.

How Much Does an Immigration Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring an immigration lawyer varies based on the type of legal service required, the lawyer's experience, and the complexity of the case. General cost estimates include:

  • Visa applications: For help with visa applications (e.g., H-1B, L-1, F-1), legal fees may range from $2,000 to $7,500, depending on the complexity and the type of visa.
  • Green card applications: Fees for family-based or employment-based green card applications typically range from $3,000 to $10,000, depending on the case.
  • Deportation defense: For defending clients in removal proceedings, costs can range from $5,000 to $15,000 or more, depending on the complexity of the case and how long the case takes.
  • Asylum cases: Asylum applications may range from $2,000 to $10,000, depending on whether the case is defensive (in removal proceedings) or affirmative (not in removal proceedings).
  • Citizenship applications: Legal fees for filing a naturalization application usually range from $1,500 to $5,000, depending on the complexity of the client’s immigration history.
  • Business immigration services: Fees for assisting businesses with employment-based visas (such as H-1B or EB-5 visas) often range from $3,000 to $10,000 or more.

Always ask for a clear breakdown of costs and fee arrangements before proceeding with legal services.

Top Questions to Ask an Immigration Lawyer

Before hiring an immigration lawyer, it's essential to ask questions to ensure they have the experience and expertise to handle your case effectively. Important questions to ask include:

  1. What experience do you have with immigration cases like mine?
Ensure the lawyer has experience handling cases similar to yours, whether it’s family-based immigration, employment visas, or asylum.
  2. How do you charge for your services?
Clarify whether the lawyer charges a flat fee, hourly rate, or retainer, and ask for a detailed estimate of the total cost.
  3. What is the likelihood of success in my case?
Ask for an honest assessment of your case and the potential outcomes, including any challenges you might face.
  4. How long will the process take?
Immigration cases can take time, so ask how long it may take to process your application or resolve your legal issue.
  5. Will you handle my case personally?
In larger firms, junior attorneys or paralegals may handle parts of your case. Make sure you know who will be working on your case directly.
  6. What documents do I need to provide?
Ask the lawyer about the documentation required to support your case, such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, or employment contracts.

How to Check the Credibility of an Immigration Lawyer

To ensure you are hiring a reputable immigration lawyer, take the following steps to verify their credentials and track record:

  • Check their state bar status: Confirm with your state bar association that the lawyer is licensed to practice and has no disciplinary actions against them.
  • Look for specific immigration law experience: Review the lawyer’s website or professional profile to ensure they specialize in immigration law and have experience handling cases like yours.
  • Read client reviews and testimonials: Look for reviews on platforms like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, or Google to see what previous clients have said about the lawyer’s professionalism and success rate.
  • Ask for references: A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their ability to handle immigration cases.
  • Check for industry affiliations: Membership in organizations like the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) can indicate the lawyer’s expertise and commitment to immigration law.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most out of your first consultation with an immigration lawyer, it’s important to come prepared with relevant documents and information. Here’s what you should bring:

  • Passport and immigration documents: Bring your passport, visa, and any documents related to your current immigration status.
  • Family documents: If you're applying for a family-based visa or green card, bring marriage certificates, birth certificates, and proof of family relationships.
  • Employment information: For employment-based visas, provide your employment contract, offer letter, or other documentation of your job.
  • Criminal records (if applicable): If you have any criminal history, bring copies of court records and other relevant documents.
  • Timeline of events: Provide a clear timeline of any prior immigration applications, visas, or issues with immigration authorities.
  • List of questions: Prepare any questions you have about your immigration case, the process, costs, and the likelihood of success.

By preparing thoroughly for your consultation, you can help the lawyer understand your case more effectively and get the best possible legal advice on how to proceed.
