I want to recognize the excellent experience we had with Megan Moghtaderi and her team. We had a situation where we needed a loan to the family trust in order to avoid triggering higher property taxes under Proposition 19, and we needed assistance with finalizing the distribution of the trust assets. We had been working with a previous attorney who was unable to complete the job, and time was of the essence. Megan and her team obtained and reviewed the files from the previous attorney, worked with the loan company on a rush basis to calculate the distribution schedule and loan amount, facilitated the property transfer, filed the documentation with the assessor, and provided the documentation needed for taxes and beneficiary distribution. Megan was clearly experienced and professional in handling this type of work, and was very patient and responsive to numerous emails and phone calls throughout the process. She was instrumental in finalizing the trust situation for us. I will not hesitate to work with Megan in the future and highly recommend her for any trust needs.

When my father passed away he made my stepmother the trustee of his estate. Big mistake. Though I had been under the mistaken impression she was a decent and loving person, that turned out to be an illusion. I cannot begin to say enough great things about David Shapiro and his law practice. David helped me get through an estate matter from 3000 miles away. I'm in Michigan, the case was in LA. My wife left me unilaterally and unexpectedly, and took our 2 year old son with her. She also retained an attorney in San Diego, who supposedly has raving reviews, and filed a Domestic Violence Restraining Order against me. I had to act quickly and entered my name into a link on the internet while looking for attorney's to defend myself, and voila, I received a call from Ross Veta. I was skeptical at first, but after an initial consultation, it was clear he was the right person for the task at hand due to his ‘calming effect’ on the situation I was facing. Ross and I worked together like a team, which is what people really need to do if they intend on prevailing in their case. My estranged wife’s declaration was not only full of lies, distortions, and half-truths, but errors, including the wrong date we were married, with many other absurd allegations. I don’t know if these errors were hers, from her attorney, or his staff, but her declaration was poorly written, and her attorney should have ensured that these absurd allegations were not part of her declaration; they clearly made her out to be foolish and petty. Ross took full advantage of the opposing party’s errors, omissions, and lies, yet focused on those things that truly mattered to the judge in our case, someone he is familiar with here in North County. Divorce is a very emotional experience, and it has been for me since my estranged wife tried to drag me through the mud. Yet Ross Veta saw right through all the smoke and mirrors, and came up with a game plan to deal with each allegation. Needless to say, I wasn’t as impressed my estranged wife’s attorney nearly as much as I was with Ross Veta. Ross has a demeanor that can’t be matched; he’s focused, but is also a very likable person, something that’s rare in the legal profession. The outcome? I won the case and the Domestic Violence case was dropped, even before Ross had the opportunity to cross-examine my estranged wife. And I even have joint custody, and almost 50% visitation of my 2 year old son. Thanks for everything Ross.

In late September 2023, I was rear-ended by an 18 wheel truck. Injured, and with extensive damage to my vehicle, along with injuries my passenger sustained.... After a careful search and consideration, Law Offices of Bruce Julian Kitchin and I agreed to take my case. Every step of the way, I was informed about the process and what certain notices and mailings meant. My rights are something I want PROTECTED, AT ALL TIMES. This firm achieved those goals. I am not at Liberty to discuss details of any settlement. I simply can't. I can't recommend Joseph enough. If he takes your case, you have an angel in court. This guy knows his stuff. Get your facts together and give them to him and he will help you if you have even the slightest angle, assuming you have been treated wrongly. when I got into a car accident - all I wanted was to go see a doctor to get rid of my back pain but not all doctors accept patients from a car accident. - I called Iris and she got me assigned to a doctor right away. The doctors she sent me were really good. She took genuine care of my health and checked up on me to make sure that the treatment was working. No need to follow up with her - she is always on top of the case. I'd hire her again - but hopefully I don't get into any accidents in the future :)

While attempting to do my own Notice of Default on a judgment foreclosure (a fool for a client?), a search turned up Coby's reference. Initial consultation, laid out an aggressive plan (which included a lise pendance for an additional, as yet, unlitigated claim resulting in additional recovery following defendant's dismissed BK filing, in large part due Coby's strong objections) and remained firmly on top of the usual court system maneuvering. Property sold with 100% recovery of all principal, interest, post judgment, legal fees and court costs. This case was handled as well as any previous action I've been involved with. Highly recommend him to anyone needing his areas of expertise. Hoping to avoid further litigation, but would welcome his representation if necessary.

Stephen Hammers was a referral from another lawyer who could not represent my case, and I approached hiring Steve with some anxiety because I had always applied the skills of the referring lawyer over the past many years. I had no previous knowledge of Steve's work, and hoped that this referral was a solid recommendation. My matter was involved, and the case appeared to be risky. In fact, the referring lawyer (my long time friend) advised me that I stood little chance of prevailing. All that I knew was that I was in the right, and that a good lawyer might be able to prevail. Steve was cautious about giving me any hope at first, but he could see clear pathways to defeating the defendants. He applied his boundless energy to the intellect and resourcefulness that has made him such a superstar in Orange County, and we worked together in an efficient yet highly effective manner to hone the case. His persistence along certain lines of advice that at times were lost on me became invaluable to the direction that the case took, and we developed a momentum that was itself very effective for our success. While we spent time and effort on certain details, Steve never appeared to delay nor overstudy any point. At no time did I ever have the slightest doubt that he had my best interests as his own, and that he was keeping the billing as low as practicable without creating any new difficulties. He predicted a wide variety of events which all came to pass as he described, and portrayed undesirable outcomes that we avoided altogether largely because of how well he articulated their potential negative impacts to me. He kept or improved the calendar originally set, and maintained in his keen mind each item of concern and advantage without the level of discussion that I had anticipated. I called Stephen G. Hammers to handle a real estate transaction for me because I was having problems reaching an agreement with another party. We reside in New Jersey and had an issue with a California rehabilitation facility that refused to appropriately refund to us a large amount of money. Although the facility was horrible, we did not want to get into a lawsuit with them, we just wanted our refund. Mr. Hammers listened to our situation, acted quickly and appropriately on our behalf, and resolved the matter just as we had hoped. We found he and his staff a pleasure to work with, always responding to our inquiries and asking our opinions on how we wished to proceed. I wish I could give Mr. Barth more stars than five. He was very responsive from the beginning. As you can imagine, I was scared and didn't know who to turn to when I found out that I was named in a $2,000,000.00 lawsuit. Give this man a cape, because he is a true superhero attorney. Mr. Barth figured out right away that I should have never been named as a defendant in the case, but we still had to fight it. He clearly explained my options from the beginning and was thorough about what the worst outcome could be. There were 4 serious charges against me, and Mr. Barth was able to get 3 of them shortly removed and the last charge was negotiated down to a $1,000 payment for me to be removed completely from the case. I'm thinking, $1000 and I'm out, let's do it. However, Mr. Barth even got that removed and I was released from the case. After charging with a DUI, I searched for a lawyer that I can trust and rely on to defend me. I stumble on the Anthony Marcus Law Firm on Yelp. I was really amazed with the good reviews I was reading about attorney Marcus. I then went to other links that show more outstanding reviews. I, there and then decided to contact him, the reviews were really accurate, he was friendly, patient and explained all the steps of navigating the court regarding my case. I meet with him afterward. Immediately, I observed his confident and his knowledge of the law. He truly changed my anxiety to calmness. Not only he did what he said he will do, he is affordable. He gave me a discount after he initially gave me a good price compare to other attorneys’ quotes. When he appeared in court, Mr. Marcus immediately communicated with the DA and the court and got me a good deal from the court with no jail time even though my case involved property damages to others. I recommend him to my friend and he also was very accommodating. I highly recommend this honest and genuine lawyer to anyone in need of effective representation.

We have a local business and Mathew Harris has helped us with a few cases we were involved in. Mathew communicates thoroughly throughout the process, is very knowledgeable and his pricing is more than fair. Mr. Pomerantz was an incredibly patient and persistent attorney for me and my case. Andrew Pomerantz and team were amazing from the beginning to the end. We had a tough mold case against our landlord. We lived on the west coast and the landlord lived in the east coast and moved while we were trying to serve him. It took a long time to track him down but Andrew was able to. Because our landlord wasn’t a nice person he fought and stretched the case out over 4 years. At one point the landlord claimed the problems with the house weren’t his responsibility because he didn’t live in the state! Though Andrew never wavered and continued on the plan he had set out on from the get go. Every call my wife and I had with Andrew was very pleasant. Andrew always started off making sure the kids, and my wife and I were healthy and in good shape. He answered every question, explained everything in detail, and was never in a rush to get off of the phone with us. In the end Andrew was able to get the landlord to settle with us instead of a long and expensive court trial, that we did not want to do. I highly recommend Mr. Pomerantz and will do so to anyone that is in need of an attorney… and this is coming from someone whose dad was a Judge, cousin was the district attorney for Sacramento, and uncle the captain of the Oakland police.

After consulting and working with several other lawyers with other firms, I didn’t feel that anyone was really listening to my case. I requested that Andrew Pomerantz take my case and without hesitancy, he accepted to help me out. Having difficult tenants and not knowledgeable in property management made me feel helpless and lost. Andrew and his team helped me focus. We (landlords) wanted our house back so that we can live in it. To have a house to live in was the bottom line.
