Attorneys did not even ask about his will as my brother had it done to add myself as his beneficiary of any of his payouts from his benefits from his laborers union. Now have to go through another attorney to file for what should have been done through them . My brother passed away on the 21st of June, and recieved a letter to our mother, saying he was no longer representing him. Pretty cold, now I see he was just making a living off of my brother's disability for years. Now he just made it cut n dry he was done. What a racket. Lori Calvert

October 2024 - I was fortunate enough to be referred to Julie by another attorney a year ago. She was the 3rd attorney I had met with and she was able to see me on very short notice within 48 hours. Immediately, she put me at ease. After our initial visit, I already felt a huge weight had lifted. I was very glad that I had not already retained an attorney at that point. Right away, I felt Julie was "the right one". She was sincere, compassionate, caring, and I could tell she was smart. She immediately took control and told me what I needed to do in order to assist with the case. I hired her right then and left the meeting feeling as if I was in capable hands - and rightly so. I’m a criminal defense lawyer with 45 years of experience, so when it came to my own difficult, complicated divorce, I knew I needed the best lawyer possible. My first lawyer was, at best, mediocre. Then, during a court zoom hearing a couple of months into my divorce, I watched and listened to Cynthia First representing another petitioner. What happened instead was Sean transferred me to Joe and the lawsuit lasted 2 1/2 years. We ended up going to arbitration and I won all damages but zero lawyers fees.
Incredibly frustrating experience.
I wouldn’t hire nor recommend them.
I regret hiring Sean and Joe.

My wife and I had been talking about getting our will done for years. This year was the year we got it done, and Tyler with McNeice Wheeler was fantastic. We scheduled a phone call with him due to COVID and was patient as we worked out the three way calling between my office, his office, and my wife at home. He gave a high level overview of the process and conversation we were going to have, then filled in some of the details, and then walked us through each step asking us questions about what we wanted and what our goals were. We had a less than typical case and he recognized that a traditional will was not the best option and helped us set up a trust. He asked lots of questions and allowed us to as well. It was a very collaborative process. He had the documents drafted and sent to us quickly. Due to an error on our end, we didn’t realize we had them for a few days, but when we realized it, we reviewed the drafts and were happily surprised at the small details included that we had never thought of. He was patient with our (mostly mine) several emails asking questions and requesting clarification and answering hypotheticals. Once we were satisfied, we scheduled a convenient time for us to go in and sign. They had everything ready and laid out in the conference room with the necessary witnesses and notary (all socially distanced of course!) and made it super easy to pop in, sign, and continue with the rest of our errands that day. If you need your estate planning done, or any legal support, McNeice Wheeler deserves your attention.

She listened the entire issue with the previous law firm, and what surprised me was her focus to resolve the problem instead of nailing down.
After a brief discussion and consultation, I hired her to represent me the same case which I got denied previously.
It took her shorter time comparing with the previous lawyer and successfully won my case. Not only that, through the entire process of my case with Amsale I was getting an update based on the information timeframe of each steps from immigration office.
