Horrible mismanagement of my family’s Trust for years. One that she wrote herself, amended multiple times, and even went to my grandfather on his deathbed to have him sign an amendment when he was not in a clear state of mind. When asked for an accounting, she stalled for 9 months and then all of a sudden, no longer represents the Trust or Trustee. This woman should have her bar revoked. She will steal your family’s money and do zero work that benefits anybody but herself.

I think Belinda is far better than most.
My only regret / complaint is the efficiency with with work was processed in my four year divorce.
My emails and her replies were frequently copied without my consent to many other lawyers both inside and outside the firm which compounded the billing exponentially. Because my case was complex and outside of her core are of expertise, I was often frustrated.
She gnerally knows her stuff and I feel is ethical.
It is the lower ranks of the small firm that are weak in my opinion.

This is not something I typically do - writing a review for an attorney - but thanks to an “unhealthy” and highly litigious ex-wife, I’ve had more lawyers in my life than I care to admit. Since I unfortunately have a lot of experience within the family law system, I can say with the utmost confidence that Lorie Nachlis, without question, is the best family law attorney you will ever find.
My case had a little bit of everything but, from the moment I met Lorie during the search for representation process, I knew she could expertly handle it all, and she most certainly did. I worked closely with Lorie for years - yes, it took years as my ex had us in and out of court as if it was a revolving door - yet Lorie remained invested, focused, and vigilant through it all.

Family law is an interesting specialty - they attorneys there are your advocates, but also they need to really think about what is best for your family and what is going to be possible within a court system that has the best interests of the children first in mind. And its hard to know what you want and there is no instruction manual about how to deal with some really tough questions and decisions so at best they are able to help you think all that through and reach a good place for you. There are a lot of lawyers out there that may not be the best lawyer for you.
Natalia and her team have been great over the last six years. She knows the court and the court system and was able to explain to me the process, the judges and magistrates, even the mediation process. She helped me understand not just my options, but helped me think about how my choices might affect my family and what might be best for them too. She brought in specialists when needed that were very helpful and informative. She treated my counterparty with kindness and respect even when those things were hard for me to find. She was always responsive and available when I needed her.

Peter Smith and his firm, Dhillon Smith, are corporate counsel for the company I serve as CEO.Peter represented the company in numerous actions, including our counter-suits, involving a former employee. The nature of the actions involved fraud, concealment and failure to disclose material facts to prospective investors, breach of fiduciary duties, self-dealing, etc. The former employee's attorney took on his case on contingency fees, and attempted to shakedown and bully the company and its executives at depositions and in court.
Peter's handling of the actions could not have been more effective and successful. He was calm, competent, low-key and very effective where it matters. While the other attorney was into theatrics and intimidation/bullying. Peter's style was focused, nuanced, and demonstrative of sound legal judgment and high quality professionalism. Peter created a simple, effective legal framework for the company to present his case for the company, presented it to the judge in a trial lasting several days. The result speaks for itself: the judge overwhelmingly ruled in favor of Peter and the company.
To make it more satisfying, the judge on separate occasions admonished the other attorney for conduct. In contrast, the judge was very satisfied with Peters conduct and professionalism.
At all times in this multi-year, multi-action process Peter kept the Board and CEO fully informed of what he is doing. He discussed his legal strategy, asked for feedback, incorporated those elements that we offered he found of value, explained why some of my other points didn’t matter, etc. In other words, his working style enabled the company and its executives to feel part of a team in working with the outside counsel in a very important matter.
Peter, considering the company's interests, had also filed court papers to insure the other party would be held liable for the attorney's fees in the frivolous actions they imposed on the company. The company is waiting for the judge to complete their ruling and expects to recover its costs (plus damages).
I've worked with some of the best attorneys in corporate law/litigation in the bay area. I'd rate Peter Smith and Harmeet Dhillon among the top. Their firm is small, the service is personalized, your case would be handled by the name partners, their cost structure is far lower than a big law firm so you get excellent value for your money.
If you are a CEO/head of a small or medium business I'd suggest you consider Peter Smith as corporate counsel. If you are an executive or founder of a company and need a sound, competent, low-key attorney to protect your interests, I'd suggest you consider Peter Smith. Lastly, if you are faced with someone attempting to intimidate/bully you with legal threats you'd do well to consider Peter Smith to represent you.

Peter (as he prefers to be called) is a great trail attorney. He is a partner of his small but extremely effective firm Dhillon and Smith LLP. He along with his partner Harmeet Dhillon have, I think, put together a great team to help people like me to navigate complicated legal trials and processes emerging from some knotty business partnership disputes.
Peter has a great temperament to deal with the highs and lows of the emotions that I went through with my business issues and calmly helped me to make decisions by explaining the legal and trail nuances leading to successful solutions each step of the way.
In conversations with Peter I felt the dept of his experience and that was very reassuring to me. I am not an attorney or an expert in the Law by far and this is just from my experience as a layman client.
His firm, Dhillon & Smith LLP, have rates that are slightly on the higher side but they are very efficient with their hours. They are client friendly and work through any issues that may come up.

We hired Harold Smith to represent the company as general counsel. As founder, CEO,and largest shareholder I had a ring-side seat in observing Harold's performance as counsel for about four-five years. Harold is expensive and ok value in select areas: real estate transactions and contracts and litigation, dealing with the city and state departments involving commercial and residential real estate. He was not as effective in other areas, specifically litigation involving business or commercial entities, employee-employer risk management, negotiating and settling with attorneys representing irate customers or business partners or employees, smoothing through upset shareholders, etc. Harold's inexperience, and his refusal to acknowledge it, complicated matters very much and proved in time to be expensive for my company. The company concluded we needed someone that was more experienced in those areas Harold was not strong, we needed less of real-estate focused legal help where he is ok. So we switched to another firm. Harold's handling of our decision to switch legal representation made things very difficult and he could have been more professional.

Nadine Orliczky is part of a capable and motivated family law firm. She is an excellent strategist who helped me navigate a potentially complex and difficult case. First and foremost, Mr. Wasieleski was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I could not be more thankful for the help that he gave me. I was involved in an automobile accident in late 2015 in which I was t-boned at an intersection by someone who ran their red light. As a result of my accident I was experiencing sever pain in my body almost immediately. I was referred to Mr. Wasieleski by a friend who had gone through him for their auto accident and they were extremely pleased with how he handled their case. He immediately contacted a witness at the scene in regards to my case and was able to the prove that I was not at fault for the accident by securing the witness's statement. Thanks to Mr. Wasieleski, I received the treatment that I needed and he was able to settle my total loss vehicle for more than I believed it was even worth!! Not to mention, he got me a great settlement for my personal injury claim as well. All of this was done by him and his office and they were diligent in their work and response. Barry Mack likes to talk about himself and how he was a Commissioner at the Court. It appears he likes to talk about how amazing he is however, this is not the case. He drags his feet with your case and runs up your bill. So that retainer you pay of $5,000.00 is eaten up real quick. He is not aggressive with the court and fighting for you.He will even tell your judge, that he wore the same robe many years ago. Very weird. His paralegal staff is non helpful. He let my ex wife run the show who is not an attorney.
Don't hire this guy because you will get nowhere and he will drain your bank account and credit cards dry.

Attorney's fees were found to be unconscionable so much as the judge wrote it in herself and initialed it on the FAOH. Once the request for fees were dismissed by the court, Cristin's office got busy and started calling me daily to collect. I paid them for every overcharged penny they billed for. They even billed me for time spent to attempt to remove the "unconscionable" note from the judge from the FAOH in which they were unsuccessful. Also, they were constantly changing staff and charging me hourly to update them on my case. Please run from the offices of Cristin Lowe, they are crooks and she couldn't care less about you and the vulnerable situation you are in.

DO NOT USE CRISTIN LOWE...EVER!
I hired her in March 2021 for an extremely simple, non-contested, EASY Legal Separation from my husband. (We're still married but not "been together" for over a decade but live part time. get along, vacation together, raised our boys, and a fantastic platonic fun relationship).
She did an initial consult for 400 an hour. I hired her. I literally NEVER HEARD from her again! Not even being exaggerated.
She filed the initial separation in S.F. Superior Court and there is a 6 month wait period in CA. Early November 2021 (6 month wait period ended). Did I get my Legal Separation Agreement that I needed so I could then get the QDRO's done and all filed to Superior Court? NO. Mind you this was a NON CONTESTED, AGREEABLE Legal Separation. All we needed was the Agreement so then QDROs could be completed by a QDRO Attorney I already consulted with.
Tick Tock...month rolls on....I tried contacting her. She committed CLIENT ABANDONMENT!
December. 2021...January 2022...still NOTHING.
February 2022...nope...March 2022...nil.
In meantime, my Separation Agreement could've been done MONTHS ago.
I would've already been paid out by the retirement 401/457 of my husband as my settlement for 21 years of marriage. I wasn't going after any spouse support, there's no custody issue, no CALPERS pension so this was quick.
My husband is getting more impatient as months pass because of the legal separation, there is "hold" on the accounts so he can't contribute to his retirement accounts which brings his "net" TAXABLE income bracket higher. Her long delay not doing anything, we both have lost THOUSANDS (15k combined) in our accounts which impacts me greatly since its MY FINAL SETTLEMENT with my husband and I would've had the cash before all the losses if she DID HER JOB I HIRED HER FOR!
She NEVER RESPONDED to ANY email after initial hiring. Her paralegal kept saying I have it on her calendar to "catch up" and hopefully you'll get your agreement soon.
March 2022 rolls by and I had enough! It's already been a YEAR since the initial filing of our separation in Superior Court. All I need is the Legal Separation Agreement. This isn't rocket science! There aren't lawyers involved on both sides, there's no arguments with my spouse. VERY AMICABLE.
I waited 5 MONTHS for a simple painless, non-complicated Legal Separation Agreement. I terminated her at end of March 2022. Did she apologize? NO. Did she even bother to try to explain herself? NO. Just crickets as usual from her.
I hired another attorney April 1, 2022 who completed my Legal Separation Agreement in 3 DAYS! Got my QDRO's done right after and within a week I had everything needed.
Cristin Lowe didn't even KNOW that my husband's 401/457 company Mission Square are managers just like Fidelity or TRowe. They aren't even CALPERS or have anything to do with CALPERS which I already told her I wasn't going to touch his pension, so her filing a joinder in Superior Court for CALPERS in 2021 was stupid and unnecessary and cost me fees I didn't have to pay to begin with.
She will initially give "great advice" and be good in the consultation but after that? You'll never hear from her again.
NOT ONE UPDATE about your case, not one email to let you know the progress or next step. She should've had my Legal Separation Agreement READY TO GO and COMPLETED right when the 6 month wait period was over.
I had to call her office to make an appointment just to discuss the financial arrangement my husband I agreed upon. That is HER JOB TO CONTACT ME TO GET THE DETAILS so she could FINISH the legal separation agreement she didn't even bother to start. Junk attorney.
Cristin Lowe is the absolute worst and too expensive for the little she did. Charging for every email or phone call that you're forced to make to try to get any answer on the progress of your case. Horrid. DO NOT HIRE HER. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Cristin is a true professional in the family law business. She’s on the expensive side, but specializes in the field and was totally worth the fees paid. Prompt answers to phone and email messages.
Please remember attorneys can not guarantee results, and they’re not responsible for the circumstances of the case. All they can do is act within the law and advocate your position in a court hearing. Family law judges have a lot of discretion, it’s not always the attorney’s fault if it doesn’t go your way.

I had a terrible experience with this guy. As others have said, he will spend hours on minuscule wordsmithing and other timewasting tasks. He'll suck money out of your pocket until you catch on. After doing nothing remotely useful for me, he ended up ghosting me – wouldn't respond to calls or emails, which I thought was extraordinarly unprofessional. Something very wrong going on here.

My experience with their legal team during my custody and child support case was amazing. MTSA staff are very easy to work with. Gina is a compassionate lawyer who will go out of their way to explain options, ask questions and ultimately ease ones anxiety about the terrifying process which a child custody case can be.
Things can get pretty tense in a courtroom but the great on top of my attorney's evidently being knowledgeable not only reassured me I was in good hands time and time again, but it also helped keep me calm and collected.
MTSA worked closely with me and my ex husband's lawyer to come up with a settlement we could both agree on. I was very comfortable with the settlement and in which I didn't feel I sacrificed my beliefs as a caring mother.
This kept us from an extensive custody battle in court and in the end, I feel that attorney Gina and her team fought for my beliefs as a mother and pushed for what I wanted.
I am grateful for that and therefore definitely recommend MTSA family law firm.

Gina Azzolino failed to respond to my case numerous times. She also failed to notify me of upcoming absences in writing. Her lack of response became a problem - after 2-3 times of needing answers and a complete lack of response, I changed lawyers. I like her, and believe she comprehends situations well, but her case load is large, so don't expect to hear from her much.

Yes, there is a fee, but this is their job and they have financial obligations as well *hence* they are humans and have their own personal lives.

I attempted to handle my own divorce but my ex-spouse retained an attorney known for bully tactics and proceeded to dismantle me. I met with Beatrice, Jessica, and Mareva and they immediately devised a plan and executed well. Jessica was kind and caring while dealing with me and polite, yet firm, with the opposing attorney when he would try to bully her as well. Don't go here unless you've got a pile of cash to blow through and don't care what it costs, and want it to take forever and be overly complicated. I'd give zero stars if I could.
I was (unfortunately) recommended this firm by my UCLA law school Family Law professor (I was in law school at the time; I'm now an attorney), to help me file for divorce.
My ex and I split amicably and didn't have any assets or kids, so it should have been easy. This firm waaaaay overcomplicated things and charged me thousands of dollars. I ended up retaining a different firm who got it done in less than 2 hours of attorney time, and for way way way less.
On top of that, this firm tried to charge me for work they did for a completely different client, and then even tried charging me interest on that work. I kept requesting a copy of my invoice, which they ignored and were rude about - only to finally notice the erroneous charges way later.
It's been a nightmare dealing with them and I wish I'd never been recommended. Go somewhere--anywhere--else.

They kept me on the phone for over 45 minutes, drilling me for details about the WORST event of my life, then said, 'Oh, yeah, we don't even do Medical Malpractice'.
