Dropped a huge retainer and we have not had a single filing completed in time for my family’s case with Leslie Gilberston specifically. Communication is massively lacking. I’m charged for every time I email or call for an update that I don’t get. Be wary when they say they have the capacity for your case and expect to be your own advocate with the courts if you choose this firm, especially if it is family law.

Havent heard anything from the firm in over 3 months. No response to any of my emails. All phone calls go immediately to voicemail. Paid them $2500 and at first had a smooth and great experience then they ghosted me. My case has been theirs for a year now.

I had a phone consult with Amanda to discuss a settlement after a dissolution of an intimate partnership. The consult was on a Wednesday afternoon. She told me she would have a settlement letter drafted by the following week and out to me. It took her four additional weeks to generate a letter. Covid was a complicating factor, however each Friday afternoon that I called to check on the status of my letter, there were excuses and almost outright hostility. No emails or calls to update me on progress. When they finally generated the letter and sent it out, they didn’t send a final copy to me. I got a new lawyer who is very communicative. He sent her an email to request a refund of my trust money and She charged me $103 to review his email and refund my money along with the almost $45 a week she charged me to call to check on the status of my overdue letter. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a professional. I wondered at times if there was something else going on in her life.

She is a competent attorney, but she told me so many times that she would do something that she never did. It was very frustrating, especially with the amount of money I was paying her.
Examples are she would tell me she would get back to me within a couple days and she wouldn’t, she said she would look into many things for me which she never did.
When going through a divorce you need an attorney who will do the things they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do them.

Waited for over a week for someone to get back to me, had to call several times and left messages, I used them about a year ago and things went very well. Not anymore. They couldn't find any records of my case, not helpful at all. Not sure what happened with them but I waisted a week for nothing, now looking for a different law firm.

I had the pleasure of working with Geoff through a DVPO case and parts of my divorce case. He was able to point out the fact that my ex had set me up and wasn't afraid to voice it in court. Geoff was also well prepared for a crucial custody hearing and it was a relief having him by my side. Being a judge, in addition to a lawyer, his schedule does get busy. However, both he and his paralegal, Kerry Davis, show great care for their clients.

Will Reingold was one of the attorneys who represented me in my divorce. Will’s overall attentiveness to the case and its myriad of deadlines demonstrated a high degree of detail-orientation that was incredibly reassuring during a very difficult period. It was a contentious case in which many motions were filed by both parties, which meant a lot of legal writing had to be done. Will’s writing was unfailingly crisp, concise (while still comprehensive), and persuasive. Through his writing I could tell how seriously he took my case, and how much he cared about the way his rhetoric would put me in a position to achieve a positive outcome. Additionally, the speed with which Will was able to produce incredibly well-written artifacts was equally impressive. If you are looking for someone to do excellent work for you, you will be hard pressed to find a better writer than Will.

Sean is a fabulous Attorney. Compassionate, serious about making the wrongs that others do or did to her clients right. She is smart, capable, classy in both her interactions with clients and other Attorneys, she responds in a timely fashion and never dropped the ball or let anything slip past her with my case.
I am 110% confident that my case was in the very best of hands. Being terminated in any situation is stressful, but when a disability is added to that frustration, it can be extremely overwhelming.
Sean guided me through the entire process with a sense of calm reassurance that kept me held together and able to move forward in a logical fashion. At no point did I have a fragment of a doubt that anything she said or suggested was not correct. After our first in person meeting, I knew that she was the right person to entrust with my case. After a month of leaving contract requests on their web page, and voice messages, someone contacted me and said they would pass on my request. Then after another week, an assistant told me that they were too busy to help me. This is arrogant, unprofessional, and just plain rude.
I wouldn't have persisted except that our attorney recommended them for another matter. Firms like this explains why lawyers get such a bad rap.

I highly recommend Mardi. She is an excellent Family law/Divorce attorney. She gives specific, concise advise and ensures that you understand all of your options. She also gives specific to dos which helps make the process less stressful. Mardi appeared much more interested in making money off of me than helping me resolve my case. After failing to meet every deadline, and making mistakes, she withdrew from my case, leaving me in worse shape than had I’m not hired her at all. I would not recommend her.

Mardi is kind, compassionate and competent. I have recommended her to others, but my only concern is that she was often slow in responding. I'm not sure if the problem was my Type A personality or if this is normal for a solo practitioner. (I've only worked previously with non-solo attorneys on will/trust issues , but all responded more quickly on questions and tasks.)

I was told he was the best in Spokane, in my opinion he and his associates are the worst. I paid him tens of thousands of dollars and received very little in the way of competent representation. I was promised that he would personally ensure my case would be a priority after one of his associates left the practice and a new one took over my case and I believed him. That was huge mistake on my part, I feel like he will tell you anything to get your money.

Jennifer Pearson was my advocate in a separation/divorce, where it seemed, I didn't hold any of the winning cards. My telephone calls with Jennifer were communicative and responsive. I am impressed with the high level of execution and sense of urgency Jen and her team had. They know how to prioritize so the right things get done and they don't waste time or money.
Jennifer Pearson is open and straightforward. She explained the law and procedures so that I understood and could make clear decisions. She talked to me about the strengths and weaknesses of my case and strategized for fair negotiations.
Jennifer is not easily intimidated and uses her brain over brawn. Estimating what the cost of my divorce would be if we could not come to a negotiation, I am thankful she has a smarter not harder approach.

Initially I thought he was on the same page advocating for my kids wishes and keeping their lifestyle the same as it had been prior to separation. I quickly realized how far his priorities were from mine. In trying to convince me to sign the collaborative agreement, which in our first meeting I did not have the buy in as it seemed I was getting bulldozed, he called to say a few things that were shocking. That on paper I wasn’t marketable so I needed to start thinking about how I was going to start supporting myself(stay at home mom for 12 years w/o a degree in my 40’s). He said the visitation schedule I was fighting for (every weekend w dad, all other time w me as I homeschool, while dad was fighting for 50/50)was “small peas” compared to the “big picture” and that without the collaborative process I’d likely be homeless and in poverty in a year. Whoa. It was like he was trying to get me to release him from retainer so my spouse could then be released as the 2 lawyers were friends. Or did he actually think he was helping me by saying those things? In my option he was unprofessional, demeaning and completely displayed no advocacy for the children.

I’m a criminal defense lawyer with 45 years of experience, so when it came to my own difficult, complicated divorce, I knew I needed the best lawyer possible. My first lawyer was, at best, mediocre. Then, during a court zoom hearing a couple of months into my divorce, I watched and listened to Cynthia First representing another petitioner. It took me five minutes to make the decision to see if she would represent me.
I know lawyers and the quality of what they do, having worked with or opposite as many as 400 of them. There are three at the top of the list, lawyers who are brilliant, caring, dedicated. While out of the country with my children, my husband of 24 years packed up and finalized his strategically planned “escape.” I was served on 12/31/2018 and was connected with Krista Stipe that day! Not only was she professional and a great listener, but kind and patient as the worst time in my life unfolded.
I was dealing with deceit and intimidation and my daughters were struggling. Krista guided me through the entire divorce process while advocating and protecting me against my ex-husband and his various attorneys which were regularly hired and fired. Krista always kept me up to date on the status and informed me of fees due to opposing counsel’s need to be briefed and when dealing with their client’s demands and delays. Krista was my lawyer in a family law matter. I found her to be friendly to my face, sickeningly passive aggressive via email and somewhat knowledgeable on family law matters.
Please keep this in mind when considering hiring Krista as your lawyer: half-way through my trial, when Krista realized she was up against a formidable attorney who would do almost anything for her client (including bending the truth), Krista decided to go on vacation.
I begged her not to leave but she was adamant.
I was left with a runner up attorney (half a star?) who had not been to trial in years and had to be schooled on protocol and procedure.

Krista came on board my team as we learned that trial was going to be needed in my case. A prospect I wanted to avoid, but was necessary. From day one, she showed how her experience in trial preparation was a strength for her. In a time of doubt for me, she conveyed confidence, had absorbed the merits and details of my case quickly, and laid out a strategy that was a great balance of advising and collaborating. I didn't know this world, but her approach made me feel inclusive of the decisions and her time taken to explain things made me comfortable with the decisions I was making. There is an art to this, I've learned, a balance of guiding and listening, and Krista is able to strike that balance with ease.
My case took more than a few twists and turns, and while I am sure everyone may feel that, even as it was happening I felt confident in my understanding of where we were and the decision that lay before us. More so, I felt confident in the steps we were taking and our preparation for trial. We were doing things the right way and setting the table so that as trial approached, we were well positioned. Tons of time and effort goes into this, but with Krista I knew that time was being used efficiently. She understood my position, both legally and financially, and found a path forward that I could believe in. What made this so exceptional and beyond expectations was her belief in me.
Then we went to trial.
All of the feedback provided before is echoed and really should be reinforced or amplified. In trial, things move fast, tactics by opposing counsel change or come to light, and the time to react and be prepared is short....but I never felt that way with Krista. She's sharp, quick, and experienced and her ability to think a few steps ahead made this so much better. I didn't feel surprised, even though the script was non-traditional, to say the last. We knew what we were doing. While that doesn't guarantee any outcome, it sure make you feel better about things that are highly stressful and moving very quickly.
But what needs to be emphasized, beyond all the guidance Krista provided to me throughout was her dedication, her passion, and and her belief in my case. Seeing Krista in action in court, quickly assessing the situation, making the right decisions, being so prepared to accommodate changes to the flow of the case, incorporate new information, ready to adapt; truly amazing. She put in the work, and poured more than that into it. I couldn't not have been more proud of her preparation and her passion as the case came to a close. It was awe-inspiring, and made me so grateful to have her on my team.
When the ruling came through with even better results than hoped, I know that so much of that is due to the whole Integrative Law team (the crew is beyond awesome), but Krista was completely spectacular. I would recommend her to anyone, and am so grateful to have had her counsel, her belief, her dedication, and her passion on my side in court. She just knocked it out of the park and I can't say enough about it.

I had hired Ms. Caulkins in 2009 she seemed great at first meeting , but once paid the retainer fee everything had changed , I could never reach her to get details on my case and she over charged me for just simple emails or phone calls which added up to me paying thousands of dollars more than I should have. my case never went to trial due to Ms. Caulkins lack of commitment to my case instead she just sat back and kept charging me but I ended up receiving nothing in the end only a huge bill that I could not afford. if you are smart and are looking for a good lawyer trust me save your time and money go some where else.

When I first meet with Caulkins she seemed like she was a go getter and very organized. The first time we went to court she was amazing. Then it changed. She waited until the night before our documents for court were due to have me review them. When we went to court she was completely unprepared, she had this little file folder with papers just jumbled and shoved in it. She dropped it and everything fell out, she just shoved them back in not even caring what they were. His attorney completely slammed me with false allegations, she said nothing. I had told her before my ex threatened to kidnap my kids and she completely disregarded this when he has the means to do it. I was so appalled I didn't know what to do. She put my kids endanger and me in financial ruins.

Mr. Bartlett's treatment of me was disappointing. He spent the majority of the time with the opposing party and after he ran out of time
he rudely threw the draft of the agreement on the table in front of me, left the room irritated. I do not feel Mr. Bartlett performed an propriately
balanced mediation.
Also Mr. Bartlett's assistant conveyed to me that "Mr. Bartlett cannot
consider any material that is not submitted to the other party" however he did read, comunicated and considered the opposing party's email, I never received a copy of the email. When I submitted the papers for Mr. Bartlett I received a note from his assistant reminding me the policy but when the opposing party sends an email, Mr. Bartlett not only receives it but states he will us charge for it.

Mr. Arcala was very professional in every aspect of being a lawyer. He always responded within reasonable time. Knowlegeable? He definitely deserve that license. He was even with us all the time when met with immigration interviewer until we got what we were there. Our case was a little complicated but we pulled through.

My ex is currently working with this piece of dog you know what abs he has turned her into monster. Filing motions for no reason a s anytime he gets wins of something like the court suggesting I file a contempt motion he dies something else like having my ex not let me see my daughter anymore. They have asked me to do the impossible while working two jobs to pay for everything and support myself. This is one bad guy he will destroy any chance you have at doing what's right or by working together to be good parents. I honestly don't know how he sleeps at night. I will post in every review board I can find I hope ls I can save one couple from using this guy. Negative 10 stars

I hired John for an excessive amount to stand in on a phone call. All of the necessary documentation was completed and filed. All he had to do was talk for probably 15 minutes or less. He first asked for $3,000 to do this. After negotiating we agreed to $1,000 flat rate for the phone call only. The other party didn’t confirm and the hearing never happened. John than made up hours titled “prep work” took my money and ran. There was no prep, all the documents were prepared and we covered everything in a “free” phone consultation. When I inquired about getting my money back he took 85%. He literally did nothing. I have family in law out of stated and they were appalled by this situation. There’s two types of attorneys: attorneys to make money and attorneys to help people. John only cares about your money.

John had a free consultation with me and he is honest, ethical and tell me practically what I need to do to keep away my worry. He provided a lot of good suggestions and advice without hiding, so I actually get a lot info from this consultation. Not like some lawyers who asked a lot of questions but didnot provide advice, which kind of waste time and get almost nothing out from the consultation except retainer fee and hourly rate, I get really good legal advice from him.

I have to say Mr. Pellegrini is what every lawyer starts out as, but most don't keep going. A lawyer is someone who is there to guide you through whatever your legal matter is and be your representative in court. He does just that and VERY well. My ex hired Mr. Pellegrini and was dropped because of his craziness in Mr.Pellegrini's office and court. Yelling at the judge instead of letting the lawyer speak doesn't fare well with judges. Angry and throwing a tantrum in court because you expected your lawyer to sway the judge not to give you anger management after years of domestic violence is borderline 'western state hospital' ready. Mr. Pellegrini has morals and values and takes his oath seriously. He terminated his representation of my ex for the above situations as well as my ex's criminal atty did for my ex violating a restraining order and trying to gain attention by taking pills to overdose. We need more lawyers like Mr. Pellegrini and Royce Ferguson. Thank you. You didn't work for me, but both could see that this person was clearly not right.

Wayne conducted a mediation to finalize a Parenting Plan with my intransigent (as one judge diplomatically put it), ex-wife. Wayne handled mediation between my daughter's father and I in August of 2012 and the outcome has literally changed our lives for the better. During my divorce, I was pro se and ex was represented by a snake-ish Spokane attorney. Multiple judges, commissioners, and attorneys in Snohomish County have had negative reaction after reading the old parenting plan...they shook their heads in disbelief. One commissioner said "This looks like it came from Lincoln County" which is where people handle their own divorces and do not know what they are doing. One attorney through CLEAR said "I don't know what judge would have approved this!"...it was THAT bad and it was completely biased and in favor of my ex. He tortured me with that plan for several years and bullied me and threatened me with contempt if I did not do everything he wanted. My daughter was traveling up to 4 weekends a month between Seattle and Spokane and on school nights just to comply with this plan. We would often arrive home after midnight on Sundays after enduring treacherous road conditions on Snoqualmie Pass.
I am now very happy with our parenting plan as my daughter now never has to travel more than twice per month and her father now pays all airfare during the school year and we meet halfway during the summer. There are now also several provisions in the plan which make it very difficult for my ex to bully me or pull the crazy stuff he was doing before such as making numerous CPS reports against me, taking my daughter to Doctors and mental health specialist reporting false symptoms and behaviors as a way of trying to set up a custody battle. His power is now very limited thanks to the new plan Wayne expertly mediated and got him to agree to. My daughter is also so much healthier now that she is not traveling constantly. She was exhausted and run down and was sick quite literally almost constantly. Since the new plan has been in effect, she has only caught a minor cold or two. Wayne, I know you thought that I wasn't happy when I left your office because the one main thing I wanted, I did not get (getting visits down to once per month) BUT I want you to know that I am VERY happy! You have no idea how much better our lives are now and how much peace of mind I now have knowing that he cannot pull the same crazy stunts trying to gain custody that he was doing before. Thank you very, very much!

I had my divorce back in 2009. Catherine did help ( or should I say Shannon since I never really had any contact with Catherine). I already had the child support thing figured out and the amount i had to pay was already done. So what does my own attorney go and do?? She, for some reason that i still dont understand, re-did the papers up and said that I had to pay more! I told her its already done and filed in court why would I want to pay more?! Basically i was paying her to do research on how I could pay more on a case that was already one sided with the state of course favoring women in most cases. It was a very frustrating time and she did not make it any easier. She did not have any good thoughts or good info that would help me in my case ( parenting plan). The day that we were in court and everything was settled and i did not get the outcome I was looking for she gave some half ass comment about why the judge should consider it again. I guess that kind of summs up the whole experience: "half ass" everything. I was young and inexperienced as far as a divorce goes and I dont feel like she took just a bit of time to let me know the possibilities of what we we're doing. Shannon was her assistant and she was actually very helpfull. I think she is no longer there, hopefully on to bigger and better things. The only positive thing that Catherine did for me is cut me a break on my retainer. Probably felt guilty for taking my money and not doing much with my case. Im not out to "trash" anybody. Im sure if Catherine wanted to, she probably could've done a good job but she lacked effort. So I'm writting this review just to let people know to please pay close attention to the attorney they hire and make sure that they are attentive and have your well being and your family's well being in mind.

The initial estimate for our case was far lower than the actual costs. We had to call her office many times to find out the status of our case. We did not feel as though she was OUR advocate, as much as she was a "fellow" lawyer with opposing counsel.

Hired Mr. Bugni after a colleague recommended him for post divorce matters that were unexpected. Nearly every correspondence was either not from him or it was horribly out of date by the time he responded which in turn caused my ex wife to get the upper hand in our matter. I was increasingly frustrated and ultimately out of funds to support the situation.
