I was involved in a severe accident where I was sitting at a red light and was rear-ended from behind. I was hit with enough force that it pushed me into the car parked in front of me. The result of the accident totalled my new 4 door wrangler and caused injuries to myself. I contacted Rue and Ziffra and they took the case right away. They fought hard for me and stayed in contact with me through the whole process. They were able to get me a settlement quite a bit larger than the insurance company initially offered. In my opinion, I would not recommend the legal services of Mark Lee Stokes. Mr. Stokes worked with my father Elias B. Rudnikas for many years and ended up misappropriating his federal maritime law practice without paying for the million dollar good value it had, that has resulted in me bringing federal litigation against Mark Lee Stokes in the Southern District of Florida. In light of same, I do not believe the attorney Mark Lee Stokes has the necessary ethics to be trusted by any prospective client. To make matters worse, when Mark Lee Stokes appointed himself as the inventory attorney for the Federal Maritime Law Practice of Elias B. Rudnikas, that my family had equitable title to, Mr. Stokes failed to do any inventory of the goodwill and digital assets of the million dollar federal maritime law practice of Elias B. Rudnikas because he had already misappropriated the goodwill and the law practice assets, forcing me to pursue additional federal litigation against Mr. Stokes for legal malpractice. In sum, Mr. Stokes betrayed my father, Elias B. Rudnikas, that he had worked with over twenty years and in essence, erased my father's legacy by taking over his websites sealaw.com; leymaritima.com; and rudnikas.com, and even took over my father's cell phone number as if my father never existed. Justice will prevail at the Southern District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. But for now I would recommend to any prospective client that hire a different attorney if possible. In my opinion, based on my experience, Mr. Stokes simply lacks the ethics to be trusted by any prospective client.

When I asked around town what lawyer I should use to sue the PPD, the only answer I heard back was Alistair McKenzie and boy am I glad I listened. From the initial phone call until months after the mediation (where we settled out of court) Alistair and his team were fantastic! Michelle was especially helpful answering any and ALL questions I had about the case. Every email and call were responded to promptly with great efficiency. When I met Alistair at our initial consultation he told me what an injury like mine would usually pay out if it was settled out of court. And he hit that number right on the nose when it came down to settling. He fought diligently to get a number we both thought was fair and he achieved that goal. The state didn’t even want to go to court because of how well Allistar stood up for my civil rights (and many more before me) against these officers that unprovoked, pulled me from my car breaking my arm, dislocating my shoulder and severely tearing my rotator cuff. Alistair is not afraid to fight for his clients rights and with times the way they are he is the man for the job. Because of Alistair and his team I now own a home, am debt free and have a good amount in savings. I would 1000% recommend him and I thank him again for all his hard work.

I am a surgeon who is still young in terms of our normal career path. I found myself unable to do any procedures or surgery despite being in a specialty that is by definition procedure oriented. I did purchase private own occupation long-term disability insurance when I was a resident, but I never thought I'd have to use it.
When it became clear that I was not getting better at the rate I would like, I called up a few different firms to help me guide through the process. I found that Eddie was not only available but affable, and I could tell he is definitely able. His previous win for another surgeon who unfortunately had to go all the way to the court gave me a lot of confidence that he was going to be able to fight for me every step of the way.
We had quite a bit of push back from the very beginning, but he was able to guide me throughout the process and despite persistent pushbacks and demands from the insurance company, I was just told today that we finally got the approval! His assistant Sonya has also been excellent.
Getting the approval is way more difficult than I first imagined. I am so glad that I had Eddie to help me. I'll recommend him and his team without a hesitation

I got into an unfortunate accident on September 2nd, 2024 - Kanner & Pintaluga picked up my case, process started amazing .. as soon as I signed my contract - their updates became minimal, don’t return calls/ or emails . I have been left utterly confused on my case, my car insurance & car bank companies haven’t had ANY updates on my case aside from my TOTALED car being “ sold “ off the tow place which I had NO knowledge or any companies as well, until this day no responses, nothing in mail - phones calls or messages have been returned nor has anyone tried to reach me . I am honestly so devastated at the advantage companies take over people who have never been into an accident before, left completely in the dust . Wish I was able to hear about my case or ANYTHING regarding my accident .
