Wow - I read some of the other reviews and completely disagree. While the divorce system is basically broke and the attorneys will always win. Barbara was the worst.... She drained all money that was given to her and when fired she made sure she burned through every nickel in the last several days. She was terrible and unprepared in court and had no idea of who I was or what was being said or done in the courts. I have dealt with the legal system in my business(s) for many decades and she is quite possibly the worst I have had to deal with. I wish I would not have hired her and hope someone else does not make the same mistake I made.
And of the several attorneys I hired Ms. Keon was the most expensive even though she was the shortest duration of representation and accomplished the least. Again, the system is broke - by design. Ms. Keon does not help the cause.

Barbara’s preparedness and pragmatism are well-documented. But I was most overly impressed with how intimate she became with my case, often able to remember and recite details even I had forgotten over the course of a 2-year legal battle.
It was my perception she gives each of her clients this individualized and customized attention.

I reached out to Dawn Jones Law when my daughter was hospitalized. While hospitalized my daughter was injured and I was not able to get her treatment team to return my calls after numerous attempts and several weeks of worrying about her care. Dawn was able to support our family by sending a letter to the hospital reminding them of their “goal to help make the patients’ experience from admission to discharge as pleasant as possible.” Within 24 hours we received a call from our daughter’s doctor. So I was referred to Attorney rouse by a good friend of my mother. I’m a cdl driver so I was looking for someone to help me with a major traffic violation that could have my license revoked for a long time. I called Mr. Rouse and he was very open about how we could go about things and what we should do moving forward with the case. He actually was very reasonable with pricing and worked with me as far as my budget. He advised me before I went to court to take a driver improvement course and to do some community service to make it a little easier on myself before going in front of the judge.this was actually great advice. We went to court and to my surprise the clerks and judge knew him on first name basis(that made me feel good) everything that he asked for , the judge granted. I left the court room only with a 300 dollar fine and no points on my cdl. Well later that night I didn’t know the rules as far as punishment for serious violations for cdl drivers. I check the dds and my cdl is suspended for 10 years, for a major lifetime violation. I immediately called attorney rouse and informed him. He advised me that the only thing we possibly could do was withdraw the plea. Normally with most lawyers, after the case is closed you have to pay another fee just to consult again. Attorney rouse was at the court house the next morning, I met him there and we withdrew the plea. Days passed by and I was weary because i was in fear of losing my livelihood. Attorney rouse advised me that since the head solicitor was not willing to give us a lesser please maybe we should try a bench trial. In my head when I think of trial, if you lose it could be bad for you. Of course this came with another fee, I really didn’t wanna try it but I took a step out in faith and trusted attorney rouse’s suggestion. We went to the bench trial and attorney rouse ate them alive. He told me months before, “ you could possibly beat this off of a technicality” I’m thinking nah man I’m cooked! Attorney rouse did his research and I walk out of the court room acquitted, all charges dropped. Before the trial attorney rouse and I talked about the fans leaving the stadium in the at the Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa game and they still won. I’m not gonna lie I thought I was doomed but I watched him work in that court room for 2 hours straight, objection after objection…. When we walked out he looked at me and said you left the stadium but we won in OT! Hire this firm…. We highly recommend this guy. He’s straight up and down

I started my case with another lawyer and due to unforeseen circumstances, my case was passed along to Moses. I am extremely thankful for that turn of events.
As Moses got to know me and my case more intimately, he realized the need to have the case removed from the county of the defending lawyers to create a more even playing field.
Moses is a very caring person seeking only justice and what is rightly due to patients that have fallen victim to true malpractice. It took several years to collect information, secure credible expert physicians from several other states, and prepare a solid case that would stand strong in any courtroom. He kept me informed through each step of the process and asked if I was willing to wait for each portion.
He was patient with me, keeping my best interest at heart… best interest of what was due to me and best interest of what I could mentally and physically withstand over the course of the years. He was honest and never lead me to feel like a “paycheck”, I was an individual who became permanently disabled due to malpractice and he sought restitution for loss of my eyesight.

MR. Douglas Rohan is an amazing attorney. I was charged with two serious felonies. If convicted I would of faced two years jail time and possible deportation. MR. Rohan was successful in dismissing one felony and reducing other felony to a misdemeanor. Consequently I received no jail time and no deportation. I highly recommend MR. Rohan and his law firm.

My teenaged son, while intelligent in many aspects of life, made a very bad decision and was arrested along with a couple of friends for drug possession (felony) & alcohol (minor in possession). Doug represented me in another case & delivered very favorable results so I was confident when I approached him with my son’s case.
Doug took my son and another boy’s case and represented them as co-defendents. Doug worked with a State Prosecutor in/out of court for a weeks, and in the end their cases were dismissed. The boys were required to attend drug and alcohol classes & complete community service hours. Needless to say, my wife, son & I were more than pleased with the outcome!
Doug held our hand and explained to us in detail what to expect in every step of the legal process. In the courtroom he’s a calm and collective & is well respected by his peers. Watching him interact/work in the courtroom ensured us we made the right decision to his firm to represent our then high school aged son.

Mr. Shannon was rude to me and told me while they were working on my case I was bugging them then stated that he no longer will help me even though for some reason my hospital bill is still outstanding. I chose van Sant for my personal injury case after a car accident. I was so pleased with the service I received and the settlement I got! I didn’t have to worry about paperwork or insurance agents, ect. They took care of EVERYTHING for me so I could focus on my recovery. They really went the extra mile. Ben was recommended to me by someone well respected in the Cobb County judicial circles. He and his staff did not disappoint. By nature, we are not litigious and have never filed a lawsuit before. Consulted with Mary first by phone. Set up a time to meet and explain my case and situation to her. She was a good listener and concerned about my situation. She accepted my case. She moved my case forward immediately. She stayed in constant contact with me where the case was and gave me options through the whole ordeal. She knows the laws and addressed my issues vigorously. In April of 2014, my wife and daughter were involved in a serious car collision. We hired Jay Nohr to handle our case. There were several insurance companies involved so it ended up taking a little over four years to settle. In June of 2017 my husband and I found ourselves engulfed in our worst nightmare. My 6 month old son had been throwing up for a week and after 4 ER visits it was determined that he had a subdural hematoma…AKA bleeding in the brain. With this diagnosis we were scared, worried, confused – we wanted to know how, why, what do we do??? And that is how our own personal hell began – with this diagnosis we were also being accused of harming our sweet boy and he was ripped from our arms. As a mother I felt like my heart had been ripped from my chest. I couldn’t understand why this was happening. The only information I had to go on is what the doctors filled my head with – these types of injuries only happen from abuse and that my son was lucky to be alive. I was in shock and absolutely devastated. With this knowledge I knew that they would never release him to go home from the hospital with us. In a panic I called our families and my father-in-law immediately sprang into action – and for that I am forever grateful – his quick action and with a little help from Google we found Jay.
From our very first meeting with Jay I felt some relief. He explained what we were up against, what we could expect to happen – and most importantly that these types of cases happen all too often – and that despite what these doctors had led me to believe, there is in fact many different causes for my son’s diagnosis. I won’t bore you with all the gritty medical details, but finding Jay, who was extremely knowledgeable about these types of issues, was what saved our family. Throughout the 4 months that we endured this hell every step Jay took was exactly the right one. I trusted him 100% to do everything in his power to get our baby back home to us….and he did. I hate to imagine what could’ve happened to us if we had hired anyone other than Jay. He was extremely educated and informed on everything surrounding our case. He was also patient with me (a distraught mom) – which couldn’t have been an easy task. We used Curtis for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. From the minute I called with questions, he took his time explaining our options over the phone without even coming in. He spent at least 45 minutes on the phone with me with no charge and then met with my husband and me for a good hour in the office with no charge. So the 1 hour FREE consultation definitely holds true. It's an embarrassing situation to be in to admit that you’re in such a financial hardship that you can't pay your bills and stay afloat with the everyday expenses. He never once made us feel bad or ashamed or looked down upon. He said his job was to help us and our family get relief from this tremendous burden and that he did. His wife Ashley is the administrator and was always helpful, friendly and courteous. In the midst of our bankruptcy we were still struggling to get back on top of things and were all of the sudden looking at foreclosure because we had become officially 2 months behind on our mortgage. They responded to the situation immediately with concern, caring and assurance that they would do everything they could to help us keep our house. Never once did they say "well you'll have to come with X amount of money before we'll even consider this". And in the end we did keep our house! From the beginning they always made us feel that they were truly there to help us and the money was not of concern. Of course they expect to be paid for their services as anyone else but I have spoken to many attorneys before speaking with them and the first thing out of their mouth was how much we would need to come up with for them to handle our case. Obviously if you're in a position of having to file bankruptcy you don't have hundreds, much less thousands of dollars just laying around!
