Middle of a tax audit and I was so over my head. The auditor was pretty mean and kept getting more and more aggressive and I was getting super scared of jail or tons of taxes I would never be able to pay back. I called Delia Law the next day and hired them on the spot. Ms. Delia contacted my auditor that day and provided an immediate status to me. She had it under control quickly. She knew the issues and reviewed my case so quick and had all the answers and negotiation strategy. Her confidence in helping me was truly amazing. So grateful she was able to get me through this audit and to help stop an audit of other years. Because of a stupid tax mistake over a decade ago, I was assessed a bill for nearly $20,000 to the IRS which I was in no position to pay. After 5 yearsong years, my lawsuit finally came to an end recently with a settlement. I knew it would be a tough case but Ed Gersowitz and his team were phenomenal and the case ended more favorably than I ever could have hoped for. In addition, Ed and his team were fatastic about keeping me up to date and always checking in with me to see how I was doing and how I was recovering after my accident. Maureen Keegan's persistance resulted in a positive outcome. In reaching a pre-trial settlement, I did not feel pushed to do so, rather guided through the pros and cons. My experience with Jeremy was breathtaking. I was run over by a car in Harlem while crossing a crosswalk with the right of way. The guy driving was 100% at fault. The state bar of NY enthusiastically recommend I set up a consultation with Mr. J. So I had a 30 minute call with him, it was nice. He wanted me to send my neurologist medical records to review and the detailed police report. Made it happen. Then, all communication ceased. No email was replied to thereafter. The only reason I can come up with is that Mr. J. genuinely believes there is no merit in representing pedestrians who wrongfully get run over by a car in the state of New York left with long-term injuries.
So I found an actual attorney who got to work, now everything is good.
This concludes my thoughts on Jeremy for now. I’m extremely honored to have been in Jeremey’s presence. He’s an extraordinary human being - but has no follow through and all that talk lead to nothing.
