Picking a lawyer was very difficult and we spoke to several lawyers. We ultimately picked Pedro because of his experience in nursing home lawsuit. My wife's mother fell at her nursing home and fractured her hip. Mr. Krompecher knew the other attorneys and got us the a good settlement. Andy O’Hara, a litigation lawyer at DeMayo Law, represented me when I had a serious injury. I called other lawyers, but I chose Andy because he talked to me on a personal basis rather than treating me like a “case” to handle. Andy asked me many questions, and then he LISTENED to me…not many lawyers actually do that. He acknowledged what I said to him, advised me about the process and some hurdles we would face, and actively assisted me through my healing process. When it came time to file the insurance claim, he helped me set reasonable expectations for the process and timelines. We filed a lawsuit to get the insurance company to treat my claim seriously. Andy did a great job of preparing me for the various stages of litigation. Louis Wooten is an accomplished attorney but I'm not rating him 5 stars for services he rendered. I'm rating him 5 stars because he helped me resolve a NCDOR tax issue without taking a dollar from me. Instead of taking me on as a client he encouraged me to resolve this issue on my own, because it would likely be fairly straightforward to demonstrate to the NCDOR that I wasn't required to file a return during the year in question. He explained precisely how to convey this to the NCDOR auditor and I'm pleased to confirm that my purported tax liability was written down to $0 not long thereafter.

A few months ago I received a very disturbing and aggressive letter from the IRS. They denied an earlier extensive deduction

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ms. Baker. Unfortunately, I got a speeding ticket back in July. Being new to the state, I was very worried, I had never been pulled over for speeding or anything. I was so worried I would have my license suspended Which does not help when you have young children in school. I reached out to Ms. Baker and everything was a breeze. Seth is the best attorney I have had through the course of my divorce and custody cases. From the first time I met him, he was professional, took detailed notes, asked pertinent questions and was highly available. He got my custody case into court quickly and was always more than blunt about the reality of the possible outcomes. He is down to earth, personable, and down to business. And he has a LOT of experience in his field.
