After an accident with an 18 wheeler, we were totally lost on navigating the personal injury and medical side of things. We started receiving calls from the at-fault party’s insurance company trying to settle right away and knew we needed experienced help. I was a little hesitant to work with an attorney at first but we got connected with Chip Evans through a work referral program and he put me at ease right away. Chip is very down to earth, knowledgeable, never seemed in a rush and made us comfortable throughout the entire process. We felt confident at every turn that we were in good hands. He was very patient with my long lists of questions and helped us tackle the pile of medical bills. Chip's case manager Nancy was a pleasure to work with as well and went to bat for us on more than one occasion--including a last minute (and super stressful!) situation that came up less than 48 hours before back surgery. I never imagined that I would be a victim of a car wreck with my children in the car, but unfortunately it happened. When you're being charged with any crime, it is something that needs to be taken very seriously. Selecting the right attorney to defend your reputation, freedom and rights is the most important decision you will make in the situation. I'm so very glad I made the decision to select Hernandez and Baggett. They had excellent communication and were very responsive to answer all my questions from start to finish. They took the allegations against me very seriously and they put together an amazing defense for my trial, which showcased credibility flaws in all the witnesses who were testifying against me. The background checks they pulled and how they used that information to raise doubts in the courtroom, it was on the level Perry Mason style detective work and even better. Extremely thoughtful, strategic, and well played! I am so impressed with how they handled my case every step of the way. The prosecution left ashamed and embarrassed with the attention they had brought onto themselves to even bring this case to trial.
I can't speak highly enough about Robert Hernandez and Shea Baggett. There is no case they couldn't handle, and I'd trust them with absolutely anything.

Robert was able to negotiate a lesser charge of highway obstruction. My BACs were high at almost 15%. I interviewed Dallas's top lawyers and most were very bleak in their outlook.
Another top lawyer's sole strategy was just to negotiate my jail time. Robert explored every option thoroughly on the other hand. Robert does not rush working the case details with you and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. This is something I really appreciated, and is hard to find in a lawyer. Overall, Robert is the kind of lawyer you want in your corner, is someone that will fight for you, and I give him my highest recommendation.

I hired Robert&Baggett to represent me in DWI case that I found myself in January 2016. Robert told me the challenges that were ahead of me and since am Truck driver (CDL) my job depends on my driving licence I was in a tight situation since my blood analysis was at 0.17. My licence was to be suspended and immediately Robert asked for a hearing with DPS and we won my licence wasn't suspended. We embarked on the main case and Robert and Baggett did a great job my case was heard by jury in april 17&18 2017 and I couldn't believe my ears when the jury came back with a verdict of not guilty. He met with me and from day one he was honest, transparent, and never gave up or did anything to make me question my decision to hire him.
Mr Ramey paid my cell phone bill for 5 years knowing it was possible we could lose… nothing is guaranteed. He went out of his way to get me the proper neurological care that I needed, the proper therapy that I needed, the proper counseling that I needed, he provided me with the proper pain management and proper maintenance of residual symptoms. Less than a year passed when I received a letter from Texas Department of Transportation informing me that a portion of my property was needed for a major road expansion. Jared with 3 PI's and a process server found the defendant after she disappeared for over 2 years and had changed her SSN and name and served her. He then spent another year getting the case settled in our favor. He is amazing and pursued this case where others would have quit. I'm a sinlge mother and my son has severe disabilites that limit everyday life for a young child. I recently started tto get back on my feet when the unthinkable could ever happen to anyone that have children with any disability. My landlord was evicting me and my family for any reason he could come up with because he didn't want my son to destroy his property. It took everything I had to get in the house so my son could have an enviroment that he could be safe in. I was quickly put at ease. i felt welcomed by the team at their office and after a good sit down with Chris to explain to him about what was going on about the case i knew i was in good hands. he didn't bullshit with me at all and got down to the point of things and what was to come. I initially had another attorney before hiring Doug Murphy Law. I just went through my first court date, and I gotta say, Chris McKinney was awesome. He was super clear and quick to respond whenever I had questions before the date, which really helped ease my nerves.

Hands down the best in the business!! Dr. Barnes came highly recommended to me by an excellent doctor. He sat down with me and listened to all the details of my case. I contacted Dr. Barnes regarding an employment issue that I was dealing with. This review is based on my previous experience with a different Attorney and Law Firm compared to my recent experience with Dr. Stephen Barnes
My previous experience with Attorneys has been that they are extremely busy with an overload of cases. As a result, they often overlook critical details with a client's case. Additionally, clients have to constantly follow up with the Attorney to continue moving the case forward with the hopes of a positive outcome.
This was not the case with Dr. Barnes. Stephen was immediately responsive when I reached out to him. He actually answered his phone the first time I called him. More importantly, he took the time to read the critical information that I sent to him prior to our initial in person consultation.
I spoke with Dr. Barnes several times over the phone. Stephen also helped me with a document that I needed to sign for my company. Without Dr. Barnes help, I would have not been able to counter the contents of the document. Stephen continued to field my telephone calls and provide advice. Dr. Barnes ultimately referred me to another Attorney, who was more specialized with my employment issue.
I would highly recommend Dr. Stephen Barnes. In this day and age, it's very difficult to find an excellent Attorney that will take the precious time to fully understand your concerns and help you navigate through the complex legal system.

I hired Norm to recover property I had leased to a third-person who was no longer paying on the lease. Norm immediately took action, filing for a TRO and TI, bringing the lessee to Court immediately. Before the Court heard our case, Norm was able to negotiate with the third-party a new lease that required a higher monthly payment and certain other terms that, if violate, permitted the immediate and non-judicial recovery of the property. During the term of the new lease, Norm worked to make sure that requirements were met on a timely basis. I found Norm to be accessible, knowledgeable and very trustworthy. His work was excellent and my results were more than I expected. I would recommend Norm for any litigation matter and will be hiring him again should the need arise.

I have used Will Sutton twice. The first time my wife was T boned and injured. The insurance company tried to get my wife to settle for $1000.00 by telling her this is what most people do. Short story Will step in and made it easy to get the medical help and totaled car taken care of stress free. He was true to his word and showed great integrity.
The 2nd time i used him a neighbors dog got out and attacked my cat in my yard. I ask him to pay which he did and then went on a review site and wrote a negative review about the company I own. Ive never used him or talked to this neighbor before the incident. Will wrote a letter to this individual and was successful in the removal of the Bad review.

I recently needed a lawyer for a real estate matter. I was referred to Walter by a Real Estate agent I trusted. I am glad she did. While a lot of firms would have looked at my case and said “You were wronged, but there isn’t enough money in this for us.” Walter, even though he is a high-powered attorney, looked at it as “You were wronged and that upsets me, let’s do something about it.” He cut through all the common hour building legal processes and got to the heart of the matter quickly and efficiently. Our trucking company hired Walter and his firm to defend against a non-compete claim.
