I was struck by a car while walking in a marked cross walk with a favorable signal. I received a traumatic brain injury and was unconscious for a substantial period of time. After another driver swerved into the side of my son's car, during his work related delivery, we waited for the check that would cover damages and lost wages. I followed up by phone with and sent emails asking for resolution. We'd tried for two months and felt ignored with excuses for all the delay. We turned to Ladenburg Law for help and in a week, Erik was able to get the first $2800 for the car repairs to my son. They subsequently got the $1300 lost wages as well. I felt like I was actually seen as a person, that my concern mattered. Kristi came highly recommended by a long time District Court Judge. He described her legal ability as second to none in the area. Following a vicious pit bull attack while on duty as a Deputy Sheriff, I retained Kristi who works as a team with Jay Flynn. Kristi formulted a plan for the case and began sending me to doctors for formal and professionally documented evaluations. After a year of medical examinations from the defense and our side, The defense requested to mediate. This is where Kristi's ability really shined. For sake of a long description, Kristi's negotiating skills with the Insurance company was BRILLIANT. We had an initial offer of $100K to $125K to $145K. Ultimately she secured me a $220,000 settlement with reduced cost to L&I. I was so pleased with the out come. She was outstanding in every way!

When I first approached Mr. Gilbert to take my DUI case, he advised me that he typically doesn't do criminal law. However, upon my insistence he agreed to take my case. No only was I charged with a DUI, it had special circumstances that could have ended not so favorably for me. Mr. Gilbert not only did a full investigation, but also consulted with experts. Mr. Gilbert was able to reduce my DUI charge to a Negligence charge. Mr. Gilbert was professional, effective as well as making sure I knew how my decision to allegedly drink and drive could have had more dire consequences to not just me but to others. I recommend him with out hesitation and should you find yourself in a situation, criminal or not, where you need representation hire Mr. Gilbert!

Attorneys did not even ask about his will as my brother had it done to add myself as his beneficiary of any of his payouts from his benefits from his laborers union. Now have to go through another attorney to file for what should have been done through them . My brother passed away on the 21st of June, and recieved a letter to our mother, saying he was no longer representing him. Pretty cold, now I see he was just making a living off of my brother's disability for years. Now he just made it cut n dry he was done. What a racket. Lori Calvert

My only issue pertains to my attempt to cash the settlement check. My lawyer dropped the ball during the phone call with the bank. He couldn't provide two pieces of information to the bank which meant I'd be given $200 immediately and I would have to wait a week for the rest of the money to be released. Due to that hiccup I had to go to money tree and spend over an hour there for them to release part of the check. I still have to wait until Friday for the rest. 4/5 stars
