I was lucky to work with Attorney David Shaheen who was a lifesaver collecting money from my mother's insurance company after SW FL got hit with a major Hurricane last year. He and his team were on it, keeping me in the loop with every detail. When it came down to negotiating David was a bulldog getting me more than expected. Insurance Companies have NO Problem taking our money but when we need them they don't want to pay forcing us to hire an attorney. Don't Let the Insurance Company give you the run around Hire David! When I had my accident last year, I looked online to find a attorney in South Florida, and the first firm that came up to was Gary's firm. I needed an attorney today in the Ft Lauderdale area.
Upon review, I discover Wilkes and was as amused as
we had the same name. I called at 10:21 am and was given the 3rd degree as if I had to convince the sec'y to speak with him. When she asked my name I told her and maybe she felt it was a joke since we had the same name. I don't find it amusing. I left a message as I was told he was in a meeting but I was not convinced. I waited 6 hours and no reply. I called back at 4:11 and was given the same 3rd degree, put on hold and then told he was in "a meeting." It must be tough getting a new client if you are always in meetings and neve return a call. I tried again at 7:10pm. He was gone for the day. i was a CEO of a few companies and I would never leave my office without returning my calls. To not return a call is either arrogance, lack of concern or both. It is hard to imagine a law firm would deem this behavior acceptible, professional or tolerable. I guess Wilkes and his firm is just not good enough. What transpired is simply low or no class. I will find a firm who will solve my problem and not be my problem. I wish Wilkes better luck at his next job, he obviously is not meant for this one.

I would give this law form 0 stars however -1 is the lowest , but here is my review Harris hung on me - a disabled veteran - when trying to receive my deed. His staff told me they were not obligated to give me the paper. After I called back Harris, calling me “bro” said he mailed it and fulfilled his obligation. I hired Attorney Feldman in Dec. 2017 to help with with a unique and sensitive rental property dispute. The whole situation was extremely stressful for me (especially around the holidays) but Attorney Feldman kept his cool, managed a very tense and adversarial dispute between me and the other party, and ultimately got me the desired result (refund) within a matter of approximately one week. He even responded to some of my emails after hours around the holidays when I wasn’t expecting it (I was amazed). Atty. I received Mr. Feldman's name after contacting ACAP. I called ACAP because I felt suspicious of the lawyer I hired as my personal representative attorney who was one in the same my dad hired to do his will.
I hired Robert to assist me after our initial telephone consultation. I gave him may areas in which I needed clarification and promised my speed to get through the probate process.
My brother subsequently hired Robert for a real estate closing.
Robert educated me on the various steps of probate, answered layperson questions and was quick to respond to calls and emails.

I was referred to Mr. Moses in March of 2011 after being hit by a car. Mr. Moses doesn't keep you informed of the status of your case. He doesn't return in a timely manner. He makes promises that he cannot keep. I had a balance left on medical bills after the insurance company paid their part.
Out of my settlement Mr. Moses put a portion of it in a trust to cover those balances. He informed me that he could have the balances waived or significantly reduced and he would then return the balance to me. That never happened. Mr. Moses is still in possession of those monies. He has not informed me if the balances have been cleared, he has not returned any of my phone calls inquirying about the status of the monies he's holding.
This happened in 2011, it is now 2013 by now I should have some closure on this matter. It's attorneys like Mr. Moses that give the whole occupation a bad reputation. I would never recommend his services to anyone.

When I 1st met this attorney I should have turned around and walked out. He was shoving food in his face while he talked to me, and kept answering his cell phone for personal calls. ( I DONT care if your son is coming home and you are going to a wedding and how much its costing you)! This attorney does not like to contact you via phone! IF he decides to contact you its via email. Me, I like to know what happening with my case. If 4-5 months go by and I have not heard from him, the least I expect is a return phone call telling me that you have no information, and not having your assistant send me a quick "nothing yet" email. Maybe I expect to much?? We needed to go to mediation and it seemed the whole time he was pushing me to go to court, that he thinks I could get more. He told me at the beginning what my case was worth. (I have read that attorneys should never do that). Needless to say it was less that 1/2 of what he told me. When I did aggree on a number he seemed upset.When I would get copies of documents back that were going to be considered legal documents, they were mistakes all over the place. When I called and of course left a message, I was told he is having a problems with his assistant. Well to me thats no excuse! He should have checked them! My name being mispelled?? REALLY?? I PRAY to god I never need another personal injury laweyer and if I do, rest assured I will not use Dan Moses!!!

My family contacted him for an accident where my father was hit by a car and he wasn't even driving. The accident aggravated the issue in his leg and Jhonatas seemed really interested in the case in the beginning. As soon as he learned the person's insurance was basic he simply stopped answering us. Neither him or his team were able to call/text/email or even return our attempts in contact them to tell us at least that they would not be able to help. Unfortunately my family was not the first one he did this. I would never recommend him to anyone! If you want an attorney that cares about your case, you should find another person.

It was a simple case. Nothing complicated. When came time to settle he told me something very different leading me to believe a different outcome.
When I have tried repeatedly over 3 weeks to reach him to see if it could be fixed, he is vanished. Won’t answer calls or texts.
I feel I was misled to accept something just so he could cash out.
Would not recommend him.

I hired James Flanagan through Ice Legal in October of 2012. I had to take out a loan against my 401K to fulfill the requirements of the retainer - which was $20,000.00.
Flanagan assured me that he, as well as his colleague Chris , would begin work on my case immediately. There were multiple depositions and other discovery issues that needed to be addressed post haste, and Flanagan dropped the ball on all of them. I paid $27,000 in fees before Flanagan withdrew in January of 2013, and I received nothing from his "representation". No discovery. No depositions. Nothing. He squandered $27,000 on "researching breaking and entering" and he and his colleagues had the audacity to charge me $350.00 for an email he sent to the other side, the contents of which his colleague Chris later refused to reveal to me.
