I initially met with Mr. Duncan back in January with a no cost, no obligation consultation. At the time, I was overwhelmed with debt (foreclosure, charge offs, and a judgment). Mr. Duncan explained my options in great detail and informed me that my situation (means test pending) qualified for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Mr. Duncan asked me why I decided to contact his law firm instead of the other lawyers in Mecklenburg County. I informed Mr. Duncan that I was thoroughly impressed with the content on his website and his informative YouTube videos. The paralegal (Brooke) that was assigned to my case was very prompt with her email responses and informative. Just as Mr. Duncan stated during our meeting, my court filing date was in March and the trustee /creditors meeting was held in mid April. My Chapter 7 Bankruptcy was discharged at the end of June 2016. I am happy to announce that I have just received my brand new secured credit card in the mail on yesterday!

After I got rear ended at the beginning of my final year of Nursing School, I reached out to Auger and Auger. I was actually referred by another client of theirs who assured me they would help me. My schedule was already so busy, I was stressed about doctors visits, hospital bills ect... Well fortunately for me they handled everything from finding me a doctor for my injuries, my bills from the emergency room and all contact with the insurance agency. I was recently involved in a motor vehicle collision. I was the passenger in a vehicle that was rear-ended by another driver. It happened on a Thursday. I hired Elspeth Crawford in March of 2015 for a hit and run and a DUI. I consulted with Elspeth the following Monday of my arrest. I hired her for a fair price. She and her partner immediately got my drivers license back from the court house. She told me exactly how she wanted to handle the case, including which witnesses to bring in. My wife and I were named in a lawsuit due to a breach of contract. Our roofing contractor didn't pay his roofing materials supplier, so we were being sued by the supplier also. I hired Elspeth to handle this legal matter. She was very courteous and professional and assured me that this lien on our house and lawsuit would be taken care of.
I gave her copies of the insurance checks cashed by the contractor and also checks cashed by him for our portion of the contract such as insurance deductible. With in a few weeks, Elspeth had this matter cleared up and the opposing attorney removed the lien from our house.
I would definitely use Elspeth Crawford again if needed!

First and foremost, I contacted Mr. Bernanke based on a reference given for taking excellent care of his clients regarding workers compensation type injuries. As an insurance agent, I had a severe ankle injury resulting in my inability to perform my duties and later resulting in termination.
There were four very specific characteristics, which I looked for, in my legal counsel: thoroughness, proactive, knowledge of the systems/law and equally important was his ability to empathize and understand how these issues affected me personally.
Seth and his paralegal staff were extremely thorough in all stages of the discovery process. His follow through in ensuring I received checks on time, but made sure I was compensated appropriately was paramount.

Randall and I worked on a complicated case in North Carolina where our client suffered very serious injuries at the hands of very large corporate defendants. The multiple defendants denied liability to our seriously injured client and in discovery dumped thousands of pages of documents on Randall, hoping that he would miss something important. He was able to find the "smoking gun" papers out of those thousands and through extensive discovery and depositions his efforts led to a substantial settlement in the end.
