Robert was recommended to me by a friend, and my past experience with lawyers was not great, to say the least. I had always seen them (in injury circumstances) as someone who has the tools and vocabulary but essentially acts as a middle man that just takes most of what you are due. Not SO with Bob. After hiring, he was very upfront with me about the circumstances and scenarios that my motorcycle accident & claim would lead to, and he helped me every step of the way. By the grace of God, and his professional team we reached a result that was beyond satisfactory. He worked at a speed much faster than the state of California and was always one step ahead of everyone else. If you have need for a personal injury lawyer I can't recommend Bob enough. He's professional, timely, candid, and will work his hardest to make sure that you are fairly represented, and given your best chance when pitted against insurance companies and 3rd parties.

I have never engaged a lawyer for anything before, and was incredibly reluctant to do so. But on the advice of friends after several months of trying to get a resolution on my own proved frustrating and fruitless, I got in touch with Bob to help sort out medical bills from a bike/auto collision. Bob was thorough in his explanations, incredibly responsive and refreshingly realistic at every stage about possible outcomes. I hired him for a difficult case and he has worked hard on the case. He keeps me updated, which is rarity with attorneys. Jason Harris is a knowledgable, honest, reliable, and hardworking attorney that will fight hard for his clients. He responded immediately (answered the phone and had an appointment within an hour right before a holiday weekend) to our urgent needs for legal help with our home fire. The insurance, restoration companies, contractor and fire industry proved to be ruthless and have some very dishonest people that take advantage of the traumatic event such as a fire regardless that you pay your premiums and your entitlements of your policy. I had a bicycle accident due to a neighbor's dog(s) charging me in the roadway causing a fall and significant damages to me. The neighbors are very nice people, but I decided to pursue a claim with their insurance company. I thought about trying to pursue my claim directly with the insurance company but decided that was not wise.
Since I did not have a lawyer, I used AVVO to find Dave Brassfield who had a strong numerical rating and outstanding personal recommendations. Additionally I could find nothing negative concerning his practice.
Dave was very professional and was able to achieve an amazing settlement in which the net proceeds were about 6 times the amount I thought I might achieve on my
own. And he handled everything quickly, professionally, and without hassle.

I will keep this as brief as possible. My injuries were so devastating and life changing that I wanted nothing more than to forget about them. This "forgetting" included attempting to ignore any and all aspects of my case. To be honest, I would have quit my case just to be left alone and to be able to move on with my life. It didn't help that, in typical fashion, the defense had done everything in their power for years to blame the accident on me. After years of this and refusing to settle, the case finally went to trial in early 2013. If I remember correctly, it took a couple days of jury selection and on a Thursday or Friday Sean made his opening arguments and began examining expert witnesses. Long story short, when the weekend was over and we came back to court on Monday, the defense was ready to settle! It took a couple days of Sean putting witnesses on the stand for the defense to come to their senses. My life has changed dramatically since then...and for the better this time. To reiterate, I wanted nothing to do with this case for years and IT WAS MY CASE! Sean worked tirelessly for me and my life and I was THE most difficult client to work for. He never quit even when I wanted to. To this day I don not believe I would have won my case with anyone else fighting for me. These days I consider Sean one of my very good friends and I am endlessly thankful for his support.

I usually don’t write reviews for people, but I had to in this circumstance. Eryk basically saved me from huge consequences and from the inability to make a livelihood for my family. I made a lot of mistakes and ended up picking up multiple driving under the influence cases where my drivers license was suspended for a long time. Eryk successfully fought these cases and allowed me to get my drivers license back so I can continue driving professionally and supporting my family. He was great, patient and well worth the money. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in trouble and anyone who is facing stiff consequences for mistakes that they made, like I did. I hope to never have to need him again but I owe him a great debt of gratitude.

I could not be any happier or any more satisfied with my visit/consultation with John Martoccio. John had an answer for all of my inquiries. And the 1 or 2 items that he was unsure of, he made sure to follow up with me after doing research on my questions the following day.
This office is located in the heart of downtown Hinsdale and has a very inviting feel and atmosphere. John's paralegal, Racine, greeted me as I walked in and John was out of his office to shake my hand within a minute. I never felt rushed, nor did John make me feel like he was pressed for time or that he had more important matters to tend to, although I know how busy he is.
John made sure to provide me with all forms on contact information for himself and his office in case I had any further questions or inquires. John always makes himself available and truly devotes all his attention to you when you are in need of council.

I have found myself twice in post-divorce issues regarding child support. At least for me they were both very difficult, frustrating and stressful times as I believed both parties were capable of resolving all matters amicably outside of a courtroom. I have worked with John Martoccio, Ross P. Schreiter, Beverly Ecton Strasser, and Racine Lambert-Cwerenz over the past several years. Each has provided me with the highest integrity, ethics and professionalism in their effort to help me navigate my personal legal needs.
During my most recent circumstance, however, I received word late on a Wednesday afternoon, before a scheduled Monday morning court appearance, that the Respondent wanted to resolve matters without making a court appearance. This eleventh-hour request sounded great, but put a huge amount of responsibility on the shoulders of Beverly Ecton Strasser.
Beverly did not hesitate to take command of the situation to reach a positive resolution by the Friday afternoon deadline we not had. Due to medical bills and other problems we found ourselves in serious and extremely stressful circumstances. We sought out McHenry County Credit Counselors and after working with them we went to Mr. Bentley. I'm glad we did as he was very patient, calm, and understanding. He thoroughly went over all our information and what our options were as well as his exact costs and process. Let me add that one of the things that drew me to him in my research was how wonderfully family friendly his office is, from a popcorn machine to candy, and in a quiet part of the office building.
As we went through the process, filled out the papers, attended the meeting, he was with us every step of the way and explained everything in easy and clear language. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Oh, and his assistant Suzanne is just wonderful as well for handling all the questions and papers we passed through her.
