Picking an injury attorney is like playing the stock market, you think you know what you've got invested to begin with, but really no solid clue how it will end up, and similarly to the stocks it can make you very anxious on a daily basis not sure of your investment... Well good people reading this, after a little over two years from a rear-end collision with I and my wife being the victims of, Mister Cory Jones of Jones-Wilson law firm, got us a settlement that was totally equitable since he procured us with the maximum compensation available after judiciously wheeling and dealing with the corporate insurance machine on our behalf. He was recommended by a chiropractor I use to work with, one in touch with many attorneys, and when I showed him a list of five that I had meticulously researched, without hesitation he pointed at Cory Jones, and that was it for me. Mr. Jones easy nature of communicating and quickly responding, and, most importantly, his willingness to share vital thoughts about the case with his clients if they're so inclined and astute to contribute, that inspired even more confidence. I was in a very bad vehicular accident at the beginning of this year. Steven, Laura, and Greg made an extremely difficult and stressful situation so much better than it would have been if I had tried to handle it on my own. They were all up front, responsive, kind, and just overall very trustworthy which is about as much as you can hope for when seeking out an attorney. Also, the fees associated with everything were very reasonable. I would highly recommend Steven and his staff to anyone that might find themselves in a similar unfortunate situation.

I have nothing but praise for Steven and his staff! From day 1 When I met with his wife in his office, to the final days getting an awesome Settlement Check! My case was bazar in the least, I was run down by a woman who got impatient in a Costco parking lot. I was pushing my cart to the truck when all of a sudden I was on the ground! This woman who I never saw even after she ran me down was so impatient she just couldn't wait those extra seconds for me to be out of her way She sped up to get around me and misjudged and down I went. My daughter was in shock screaming at this woman "you ran my dad over" Soon I was ambulanced to the Hosp and x-rays were taken of my left foot. 6 broken bones 4 on top and both sides of my Ankle. The date when this happened was Dec 19th right before Christmas!! I spent the next 30 days laid up on my daughters couch and couldn't get up at all.. The blood rushing to my foot was excruciating PAIN!!! So after returning back to San Diego I kept in constant contact with Steven. We spoke on the phone a few times and he explained my options as we moved forward. For months medical bills came in and The staff was right on top of the billing to negotiate the best cost for my services rendered. You wont believe the talent of this staff as the medical bill total went from $27,000 down to $2700!! What!! I couldn't believe it! Laura Klearman, Stevens wife was the miracle worker behind this process! She handles all the fine details involved that I wouldn't of had a clue were to start! So as time went on and healing is so slow I'm 69 years old and healing takes time. To this day 8 1/2 months later, I'm still a bit sore. Next up on the arsenal of experts was Greg, the man who does your bidding with the Insurance Companies. His expertise got me a negotiated awesome settlement amount after going back and forth with an adjuster who was resisting a descent fair settlement. Actually an adjuster is just the middle man who is given an amount from his boss to negotiate from. So Greg battled on until a very fair settlement figure was reached I agreed to the amount and before you know it I had my money in the mail!! I was very pleased at the outcome of my case. Luckily I had no surgery and I had a powerful VIDEO of the whole thing from Costco cameras in the parkin lot Everyone who say it couldn't believe what they saw! I still am in shock when i watch it! So no disputing the facts. If the settlement figure was too low to my satisfaction then the next step would have been litigation. This is where Steven steps in. He's had many years of court time settling cases for the best money possible! This is why his firm is rated so high in the search engines. All in all I'm happy I chose his Firm to represent me!! I would do it again in a heartbeat!!Thanks Steven, Laura , Greg and Staff who had a hand in my case Couldnt have done this without you!!

I was in an auto accident in December of 2015, it started great, they came to my home to sign the papers, and things were moving smoothly. I had surgery in February of 2016, there were long delays for doctor appointments, mri's etc... The other insurance company accepted liability right away, but I kept getting passed around different Point of contacts on my case. The ride was bumpy, I am not an easy person to deal with when I feel the communication is not there, however, once turned over to Chatree (managing attorney) , things went smoother. He was incredibly patient, and professional, even when I was not. When we hit negotiations, the tort's insurance company started "playing games" , however John was very persistent in keeping on top of them, letting them know we were ready to litigate. We agreed on pre litigation settlement amounts and post litigation amounts, as the fees are higher in litigation. Well, John did an incredible job keeping us out of court, and getting me far more than I expected. When we reached dispersal, April, was very expedient and professional. I have since recommended a friend to this firm and she referred them. I guess things have changed over the past 13 years, but they got the job done, it took longer than I thought it would, but I am more than satisfied with the outcome.

By far the worst attorney I've ever had. I couldn't give 0 stars or I would. The reps never return phone calls (the 3 I've had so far) & when u call the 1st lie u get is somebody going to return the call plus all the others. I personally wouldn't refer them to anyone. The last thing a person needs to know in life is that they need an attorney. It is scary and stressful. When I called Patrick King, he helped me over the phone to resolve my issue. He never charged me for the phone advice and I think I called him 2 times about it. He told me how to construct a letter to send and he made me feel a lot better about the problem I was facing. My father was rear-ended while completely stopped at a light; clearly, the other driver wasn’t paying attention at all and hit my dad’s car. I was in an accident and didn't think that Sgro & Roger did personal injury cases; I went to their website and found that they recently began taking on PI cases so I decided to give the office a call. I was impressed with how nicely I was treated by the attorneys, specifically Mr. Sgro and Meredith Weiner.
They made me feel like my case was just as important as the rest of the cases they must've been working on. Plus I got reimbursed for the cost of my medical treatment and damage to my vehicle. I'd recommend this office to anybody in the city.

I would recommend the public defender over this guy. Terrible communication, could never get ahold of him or his office. He was always late except for my last appearance which he didnt even show up to. The judge had to call me up with no lawyer and proceeded to tell me I could let my lawyer know that the case was closed. He even asked me what I thought my defense should be as if he's not the lawyer.

Adriana was fantastic. I fired my previous lawyer who did nothing on my auto accident claim and never updated me. Adriana kept me informed every week on the status of my claim and fought hard to get my previous attorney to lower his fees (he tried to get a big fee for doing nothing.
