Neal helped lift a great burden off of my shoulders with his legal assistance. Once at the top of my professional career as a pharmacist, I unfortunately succumbed to burden of prescription drug addiction and ultimately plead guilty to 4 class C felonies in April, 2014. After 3 years of supervised probation, I contacted Neal in hopes that he may be able to get these charges reduced to misdemeanors. In addition, I explained that my second amendment rights were also very important to me, and my ultimate goals for this undertaking were to someday be able to practice as a pharmacist, and have my gun rights restored. First, we worked on getting the felonies reduced. We did end up having to go all the way to court but Neal was able to put together a persuasive argument as to why my convictions were unduly harsh. Through my progress in drug treatment and willingness to complete my sentence, Neal convinced the Judge and District Attorney that I was indeed, a different man than I was 4 years ago. My convictions were reduced to misdemeanors in an amended judgement approximately 6 months after my probation ended. Next came the gun rights. In less than 3 months, Neal surprised me with an order signed by a circuit judge restoring my rights to possess firearms. In less than one year, I'm no longer a felon, my civil rights have been restored, and I'm currently working on renewing my pharmacy license. I couldn't be much happier with how everything turned out. Neal made himself available to address any questions or concerns I had throughout the entire process. If you're in need of legal counsel, I would highly recommend Neal.

Mr. Dawson was hired as a personal injury attorney, but I had numerous problems.
1. He overstated and oversold his capabilities. The final outcome was much less that stated.
2. After two years on the case he did not have a single medical expert to testify in court for a permanently injured client, leaving no good options.
3. Lack of transparency was a serious issue. Mr. Dawson withheld critical documents from my review and approval, then expected me to sign agree to unsatisfactory terms.
4. Mr. Dawson threatened lien(s) if the case was not resolved, even though the demand letter was rushed out-the-door without my personal review.
5. In the end I felt very strongly the attorney was more concerned about collecting fees for himself than the well being of the client.

I was in a pretty bad car accident recently. While recovering, I received word that the other driver was not accepting reponsibility. I was referred to the Dawson Law Group by several sources...some friends, some family. I contacted Bryan Dawson specifically and explained my situation. Mr. Dawson wrote an effective letter to the insurance company and it wasn't long before they had accepted fault. My case was complicated because it involved a natural disaster. When a case gets complicated, often both sides just agree to mutual fault. In my case the other driver had been negligent and operated his vehicle in my lane. Mr. Dawson made it clear that disregarding standard driving safety laws are not excused by inconvenience...especially when you cause damage and bodily harm to others.
During my case, Mr. Dawson exhibited kindness, compassion and effectiveness. His secretary and associates were helpful when he was unavailable assisting other clients. He was punctual in returning my calls and he listened to me when decisions needed to be made. I highly recommend Bryan Dawson and his whole law group. So incredibly glad that I stumbled upon Colin Hackett on Avvo when I did. Long story short, I had gotten a worker's comp claim denied by Saif because of a poorly conducted IME, even though I had several doctors who knew what was going on with my wrist, and also agreed it was work related. Colin was able to get letters from the doctors I'd seen, and was able to make a good case for me. And in doing so, I got a good settlement out of it. I have been sent to him by the Oregon Bar a few times. When I contact him he agrees my case is horrific and awful and people should not be treated this way and my case is strong, etc. However, he refuses to accept the case saying he is too busy. When the truth is told my case will not bring him enough money (according to other lawyers). He only takes rich cases and leaves the rest of us to rot.

I contacted Rhett Fraser for consultation to better understand options for legal actions about a situation with a yoga teacher who is also was marriage and family therapist at a prominent Kundalini Yoga studio in Portland. She preyed on and groomed a family member in yoga class and then convinced him to become a therapy client and then sexually abused him. While Rhett explained that our family had no legal recourse against her, he provided sound advice and direction about how to report her to the licensing board for disciplinary action. Almost a year and a half later, the board voted to revoke her license and she later admitted to all the charges and surrendered her license. While this has been traumatic and devastating to our family, Rhett was compassionate and supportive about the situation and I really appreciate his service to the community. We need more people like Rhett that can help families and victims that are devastated by these terrible people who prey and sexually abuse vulnerable people. Rhett Fraser is personable, friendly, courteous and is very easy to communicate with. Rhett is absolutely professional in every aspect, and can be quite comfortable to visit with in a one on one setting. My particular case was unique and had been presented in court on previous occasions by other councilors without success. Rhett conferred with me in great length in regards to my situation, and assured me that he had extensive prior experience on this type of subject matter.
