After going through my divorce, and being put into a position where I had to go back to court, I decided change attorney’s. I interviewed several attorney’s all over San Diego. Embry Family Law was the perfect fit. Ben, and Cecilia were amazing as my lawyers. Nick, Shyanne, and Daniel were always so easy to get ahold of, get advice from, and schedule meetings with. Ben is extremely knowledgeable in negotiating, and representing his client’s interests. Despite how tense divorce can be, he has a very calming communication style, and makes sure to answer questions, and provide clarity. Jordan was and is one of the worst lawyers I ever had to deal with in my life.
I contacted him because he was a referral from a friend seeking help for being wrongfully terminated from a job.
At first he seemed very caring and understanding and on my side and then as the days went by it was like I was an annoyance to him.
Anytime I would ask a question through text about something he was doing he would talk down to me like I was a child.
He has a huge ego and on a high horse.
At one point my family advised me to ask a question about something he was doing and oh my god did I get a wrath from him, even Jordan saying "is your mother a lawyer? I am a lawyer, do not question my actions"
I just couldn't even believe it, it went from telling me that I was going to get a huge settlement to making me feel worthless and the enemy in the case. After a few months of Jordan going ghost he had his office message me that they were not going to continue with the case and gave me a referral.
It was more then 6 months waste of time and I couldn't even do anything after that it was too late to even have a case after that long of waiting
The owner of the place I was wrongfully terminated even offered a settlement and Jordan refused it saying he could get more money.
So in the end I got absolutely nothing because he didn't want to take the case anymore. Highly do not recommend this guy. Some lawyers especially this one are way to high on a horse to be brought down to reality.

I have been with Embry family law since he took my case in late 2020. I had an extremely difficult fight that had little to NO chance of winning. Due to the difficult circumstances of my story and case I was turned down by multiple top attorneys in the area and by the grace of god Ben without hesitation offered to give it a shot. Prior to Ben I had supervised visitations just moved to New Jersey and my son was in California with his father. Thanks to Ben and his team trusting me and taking my case I now have full custody of my son and he was able to move to New Jersey with me. I was represented by this law firm on a invasion of privacy case, by this time I was desperate for someone to take my case. I voiced my concerns of a video taken of me while I was under going a procedure. I live in another state and could not afford to fly to California to see my video. They were dismissive of my concerns. After we reached a settlement I was then able to afford to fly to San Diego to watch my video. Unfortunately, I settled for far less then what I deserved. He also had zoom meetings with 5 different clients from the same mass tort case at a time. I felt this was unprofessional and made my experience with this lawfirm unpersonal. My case was just another case. I trusted this lawfirm to pursue a fair settlement. I was wrong to do so. Watching my video was devastating. They didn't put much thought or effort into my case, grouped it together with other cases and handled us like numbers.

They were very professional in their handling of our case and clearly explained the process, timeline and what was required of us. They provided frequent updates and answered all our questions, which there were many as this process was entirely new to us. I think we may have even asked the same questions numerous times until we finally understood, LOL. The commission for their services is very reasonable. We wouldn’t have been able to secure the Green Card without their help and we wouldn’t recommend trying on your own.

We are very happy to recommend TS and her firm to anyone needing assistance in obtaining a Green Card or U.S. Visa. They were very professional in their handling of our case and clearly explained the process, timeline and what was required of us. They provided frequent updates and answered all our questions, which there were many as this process was entirely new to us. I still have a hard time believing it! I was caught between a rock and a hard place! I was either going down for a DUI or assault. I was driving home with my family from a breakfast cruise downtown and when I pulled into my driveway there was a guy screaming at me that I cut him off. After I took him to the ground and gave him a couple of what for’s I let him up and he got back in his truck and proceeded to try and run me over. He eventually left but it was with a couple of new dents on his truck. I casually walked over to my house and got in the shower to clean up. When I got out there was a cop at my door and the guy who rode up on me across the street with another cop. I guess he never left and called the cops on me. You all know how that goes. The one who calls the cops is the one who never goes to jail, so I was screwed at the getgo. The cops question me about my day and like a dummy, I told them about the cruise and the couple of drinks that I had. Next thing I know I’m arrested for DUI and assault. I took it all the way to trial because the DA wasn’t budging. That guy approached me at my house and was the aggressor I was not in the wrong for what I did. I was protecting myself. I saw it one way and the DA saw it another way. When I met Mark he believed in me and jumped all over this to help me out. He gave me a great deal that I could not pass up. You should see this guy at work. He performed flawlessly! He is very calm and uses his words wisely. He walked all over the DA and put them in their place. We won the trial, and eventually he got my case expunged. I highly recommend him! I will never use anybody else but him. LETS GO MARK! THANKS BUDDY!
