I firmly believe that there are only a few lawyers who are competent, hardworking and active like David.
I met several lawyers in my recent legal dispute and had asked several lawyers to resolve my legal issues. But David was the best lawyer I ever met. He is very abundant in legal knowledge and has a great ability to solve problems as a lawyer. Not only that, but David was sincere and worked my work as his own work. David is also a warm-hearted person with a love of humanity. I think he really understood my difficulties and did his best to save me from legal issues. He is my savior.
Before I met David, I contracted another lawyer. But the first lawyer I met did not show me the settlement, and he just put me on hold and made me nervous. But David was very different. He analyzed my case and found a point to prove my injustice and made a very active effort to bring this case to my advantage.
By the way, my case was settled by a jury trial to solve my injustice. In a jury trial, the role of a lawyer is of paramount importance, and attentive and active preparation is crucial for best results. David did this thoroughly. I attended the trial with him for two days, and I felt he was very proficient and professional in the jury trial.
His words are soft and gave me a detailed answer to my question. Also, I could feel trust in his words based on his knowledge. He always counted my heart and gave me relief.

David helped me with my disability insurance case. He is confident, knowledgeable, professional and easy to talk to. All cases are tiring and emotional and I appreciated that he took the time to boost my confidence and always responded quickly when I had a question. He worked ahead of the game and was always discussing with me what was to come and how they were planning on handling the issue at hand to strengthen our case. I appreciated that he always explained what they were doing and what the plan was to address it. I never felt that a decision was being made without me or that I did not have an opinion which was very important to me. Dan is the Man (as an Attorney)! Plain and simple. I had two city charges (DV and Resisting Arrest) against me that was ongoing with another defense Attorney. The prosecution was absolutely stagnant for nearly 2 years, and I did not believe our initial Attorney was a good fit anymore to get the job done. A family member recommended Dan Fiorito instead. I switched to Dan mid-prosecution. He took over and shortly thereafter got the DV charge officially dismissed. I then took the Resisting Arrest charge to trial and Dan won my case after a full 3-day trial. His courtroom skill was levels above that of the City Prosecutor. The Jury unanimously acquitted me, believing in Dan's convincing arguments over our opposition. I plan to seek Dan's help in pursuing a Civil action against the city as well.
To say Dan was the right choice as my Attorney is an understatement. He was the perfect choice. His demeanour is caring, professional, and very pragmatic. My family and I highly recommend anyone choosing Dan as their Attorney for both Criminal and Civil matters. You will feel like you have the best representation in a crowded courtroom. I did!

In our situation Katie assisted with a very complex employment discrimination matter with a lot of moving parts. Katie is an outstanding litigator/negotiator whose compassion for her work and her clients shines through. Back in the early or mid-1980’s, I was one of eight apartment owners who sued the local County for requiring that all property owners in the entire local area connect their property to the new sewer system and stop using the existing, approved and functioning on-site septic systems.
Attorney Steve Crane sued on behalf of Eight Apartment Complex owners and won! I was one of Steve's clients with my apartment complex of 28 units in that lawsuit against the County to not hook-up to the County sewer system. Steve’s argument was that the Local Improvement District that the County adopted stated that everyone in that area of the County must hook-up to the new sewer system and by doing so each property would have an increase in value thereby supporting the County’s argument requiring all property owners to hook-up to the sewer system. However, Steve, along with testimony and documentation from the eight apartment owner’s, Steve proved that tenants don’t care where their sewage goes once they flush; they will never pay more for the sewage going down to a County Sewer System rather than it going to an on-site septic system. As long as it flushes and the sewage goes down the drain, no one would pay any increased rents based on those facts. Additionally, since sewers would likely bring new apartments with more competition to the existing owners who would likely have to reduce rents to stay competitive with the new construction; thereby actually lowering the value of our apartment buildings.
Steve’s arguments won. I avoided paying the approximately $28,000 in sewer hookup fees to the County sewer assessment, plus I avoided the costs of tearing up my lawns and existing septic system to put new pipes to the sewer system in the street; estimated savings at about another $28,000. With the time value of money, the approximately $56,000 at an inflation rate of just 3% would be equal to approximately $165,000 today! However, the biggest factor is the right to continue use of the on-site septic system thereby avoiding us from paying the on-going, monthly sewer fees of $19.00 per month per apartment unit or $532 per month for my 28 unit complex. In Today’s dollars, Steve Crane’s lawsuit saved us approximately another $405,000 in monthly sewer service fees! So Steve Crane saved me about $600,000 over these past years.

My case was a motor vehicle accident that took place more than one year ago. While driving south on I-5 in Tacoma, an underinsured motorist sideswiped a dump-truck causing it to spin around and go north in the southbound lanes and hitting us head-on. We were crushed between the spinning dump-truck, the car that caused the accident and the car that rear-ended us. We hired Schroeter Goldmark & Bender to represent us.
The insurance carrier for the underinsured motorist paid us the limits under their policy. Our own insurance company basically made an offer of zero to cover life-altering and permanent injuries.
Our team at SGB of Sergio Garcidueñas-Sease, Lindsay Halm, Adam Berger and Alder Burgess took over for us. One of the most important things they did was to shield us from the stone-walling, delaying tactics of our own insurance company to whom we had paid premiums for more than 30 years. From the beginning they handled the case as if it would end up in litigation. You need attorneys like SGB that have your back and are not afraid to go to court if that is what it takes.
They had the added challenge of doing this during Covid. Thank goodness for Zoom conferences. We ultimately got a court date. Two months prior to our court date, we went to mediation, via Zoom. We didn't hold out much hope for mediation, but we were willing to make an attempt. What a surprise when the insurance company came to mediation finally willing to negotiate. After a full day of the mediator going back and forth between Zoom rooms, we came to a fair monetary settlement. We are convinced that the insurance company, even then, was only willing to negotiate because Sergio and the rest of his team were well prepared bulldogs willing to go to court if mediation failed. As they like to say "This was not their first rodeo".
A car accident is horrible. You need the best attorneys you can find to protect your interests. Besides being professional and knowing the law inside and out, Sergio and the rest of the team are compassionate and truly care about their clients. We strongly recommend them to anyone who needs their services. Without Sergio and SGB our insurance company would have paid us nothing.

In writing this review, I realize we’ve known Mr. Bill Marler and his team of foodborne illness experts for over 5 years. The relationship started when I found Mr. Marler’s content on the internet via a Google search for ‘ecoli’. It was 26 days into our hospital stay before we had any idea what had ‘hit and run’ our precious child over. Once we engaged with Mr. Marler and his team, It was another 12 days to have him figure out what the source of the ecoli was and to confirm it with the CDC. We would not have known that the stuff that almost killed our kid was still in our pantry for 38 days too long if it had not been for our connection to Mr. Bill Marler. In our relationship with Marler-Clark we learned a lot about ecoli, HUS, history of foodborne illness, the CDC, the FDA, and the detrimental health effects. They helped guide us through what most families experience during a food outbreak, what type of investigation needed to happen, and how to get all the details uncovered. While driving southbound on I-5 in Tacoma an underinsured motorist sideswiped a dump-truck causing it to spin around and go north in the southbound lanes and hitting us head-on. We were crushed between the spinning dump truck, the car that caused the accident and the car that rear-ended us. We hired Schroeter Goldmark & Bender to represent us.
The insurance carrier for the underinsured motorist paid us the limits under their policy. Our own insurance company basically made an offer of zero to cover life-altering and permanent injuries.
Our team at at SGB of Lindsay Halm, Sergio Garcidueñas-Sease, Adam Berger and Alder Burgess took over for us. One of the most important things they did was to shield us from the stone-walling, delaying tactics of our own insurance company to whom we had paid premiums for more than 30 years. From the beginning they handled the case as if it would end up in litigation. You need attorneys like SGB that have your back and are not afraid to go to court if that is what it takes.
They had the added challenge of doing this during Covid. Thank goodness for Zoom conferences. We ultimately got a court date. Two months prior to our court date, we went to medication, via Zoom. We didn't hold out much hope for mediation but we were wiling to make an attempt. What a surprise when the insurance company came to mediation finally willing to negotiate. After a full day of the mediator going back and forth between Zoom rooms, we came to a fair monetary settlement. We are convinced that the insurance company, even then, was only willing to negotiate because Lindsay and the rest of her team were well prepared bulldogs willing to go to court if mediation failed. As they like to say, "This was not their first rodeo".
A car accident is horrible. You need the best attorneys you can find to protect your interests. Besides being professional and knowing the law inside and out, Lindsay and the rest of the SGB team are compassionate and truly care about their clients. We strongly recommend them to anyone who needs their services. Without Lindsay and SGB our insurance company would have paid us nothing.

We had given a rather large sum, over a million dollars, to a non profit organization for the purchase of a religious center. The management failed to do so and even secretly used the funds to invest in a fund. Unfortunately, we did not have a contract or document but just a 2 line email to prove what the money was not a general donation but given for a specific need. I got blind-sided by an intense felony DV arrest in January 2011 and charged with some severe crimes. I didn't even know I broke any laws but it looked pretty grim to me after reading the reports.
