Craig was fantastic. Made a mistake and received a pretty heavy speeding ticket that I was extremely worried about that would affect my insurance and points on my license. Craig assured me there was nothing to worry about and everything was to be taken care of, and Craig did just that. Very trustworthy, sympathetic, kind and helpful. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone.

I’ve been using David’s as my attorney for about eight years now. I trust him with my case and as well as my family case and he will always be the first on my referral list.
I first ran across David when I got out of school many years ago. I got into a bad collision and already had attorney representing me at that time. The attorney at that time did a horrible job on my case where I retain David to replace them and he did an outstanding job. David was able to get me 5/6 times more then what the original attorney said my case was worth.
David and his team are wonderful and caring people who really listen and understands your concerns and worries. 10/10

We had a deadline looming in a few days to submit an appeal we had prepared and decided to run it by an attorney and revise it as needed. The SC Bar Association Referral Service matched us with Mr. Nauheim. He was very busy but took time out to talk with us, rewrite our appeal, and did it in the span of a day because of the few days left in the appeal process. We thought he definitely improved what we had written and he explained what the appeal should contain. We greatly appreciated his help. I believe he is an ethical person, and I recommend him without reservation for matters in his area of law based on our experience with him.

A bit disappointing. The settlement I received was ok and all the people were friendly, but it came at a price. I didn't feel as if i were a priority to them - which considering what they earned for so few hours and such little negotiation imo - was surprising. I was in an accident where a car hit me as I was walking on the sidewalk. Open and shut case. Even though the perpetrator had no insurance, I had uninsured motorist so it was simply a matter of collecting from my insurance company. Imo, there was very little or no negotiating. My real complaint is that I wasn't kept informed of anything. I would have to call Melanokos every few weeks to find out what was going on (after several months elapsed first). Then they would take action and typically say, "Oh, we have to file so and so at a different place." They didn't know. This happened 3x. I never even knew the case was settled until I got a letter in the mail from my insurance company. No excuse for that. And then 3 months later I received my settlement.Also, when you sign with a firm, make sure the percentage they take is only from what YOU GET...As an example, if you agree to pay the firm 35% and your settlement is 200k dollars, make sure their 35% commission is from what you RECEIVE, because if you owe say, Medicare, the law firm might have to pay Medicare 25k (or whatever) before the law firm gives you your money. So it's 175k you get, and then they take out their 35%, but they take 35% of 200K and not the 175k lol. Why? I never would've signed up for that if i knew. I'm paying Medicare the money, and then the law firm is taking 35% of my TOTAL settlement (i.e. 200k)? So I'm paying 135% of what i owe Medicare? How ridiculous. I probably ended up with a bit more using Melanokos than if i did it myself, but not worth the aggravation, "extra" payment, and basically no communication from them - unless it was initiated by me. Not for me.

My legal case was not a big one, so I decided to work with the insurance company myself to reach a reasonable settlement. At first the insurance representative could not have been nicer and more interested in my wellbeing as we discussed all my pain, medical visits, etc. That was until we began talking about a settlement. At that point, she had a total personality change. We could not reach an equitable settlement because she was adamant about the unacceptable amount her company would pay.
That’s when I contacted Michael Melonakos. He took over the case and reached a settlement for more than double the amount offered by the insurance. Plus, I no longer had to deal with a cantankerous insurance representative.
Should you need an attorney, call Michael. I’m sure he will do a wonderful job for you as he did for me.

Parker took my case in despite it not being in his firms day to day type of case. We went up against a large company that had the resources of 2 different defense terms working for them. After trying to settle and being offered nothing, Parker went into the jury trial and demonstrated his knowledge and stated the facts and proved to the jury the wrong that was done by the company and got every dollar we set out to get. Adam Young saved my life. I was charged with two charges that would’ve ruined my professional life. My arresting officer seemed to like me and told me to hire Adam if I had the money to do so. It was the best money I’ve spent in my entire life. Within a few months Adam Young got both of my charges dropped and expunged, and I got my life back without having to go to a single court hearing or worry about any details of my case (because he confidently told me I’m not going to go to jail and my charges would be dropped upon hiring him.) This woman is like a relentless bulldog in court! I have never seen anything like it. She fought for me so aggressively and did an incredible job.
I am so incredibly thankful for her. She knew my case forward and backward. No matter what the other side threw at her, she had documents and paperwork for my defense.
Even the court officer said it was entertaining! She was on fire in there!
This woman could have her own show. In my opinion, she knew more about the law than the judge did!
I couldn't have even wished for anything more in an attorney. She was so ready for court and did her job phenomenally!
Regina Ward is one of the best attorneys I've ever seen. I switched to her as my attorney for the second court hearing, and I have zero regrets. I wish I would've had her for the first hearing.
I just sat there amazed through the three hour hearing that was only supposed to be one hour.
I'll never use any other attorney than Regina Ward. That's for dang sure!

Mr. Riesen came very highly recommended. After our first consultation he was able to get my fines, and charge completely dropped after his impressive communication skills with city solicitor. If you have a WC claim I would not recommend them! Got hurt at my job ended up having joshua as my attorney. Time goes on in my case where I started going to see my own Dr's and what they were telling me was not matching up with what WC dr's were saying cause I no longer trusted the nothing is wrong with you stuff WC dr's try and push on you. If you get that gut feeling to fire your attorney do it sooner rather than later where other attorneys say it is to far in on the case. I spoke to a few other attorney's about my case not at C&C . Which they said did he tell you this did he tell you that I said no did he try and get the video I said no. Which they said he should have told you those thing's . It is my opinion that this law firm has very aggressive billing practices and rates. When dealing with Chris Archer I mustered together $7,500 that I did not have at the time due to the circumstances of my case and literally being left with nothing but a car and clothes on my back. I did this to try to see my toddler child whom was taken from me and transported across country.
The majority of that $7,500 retainer was used up in what seemed to be a matter of days with absolutely nothing accomplished. I have since used other attorneys and it has taken them months to reach that same $7,500 quota while they did more work and attended multiple hearings.
In hindsight, it’s my opinion, that Chris Archer should have never even taken my case with the legal knowledge that he should possess. Due to the circumstances of my case he was unable to accomplish anything on my behalf and he (in hindsight and in my opinion) should have known as much before accepting the retainer.
When choosing an attorney do not forget that they are not your friends. They are operating a business. The goal is for them to make money and take care of their family (not yours). Someone has to pay for that office in Downtown Columbia. Do your own research and make the best decision for you. You won’t get a second chance.
