Took two months of waiting and hounding the attorney I was engaged with to actually get back some legal templates. When I did receive them, they contained the wrong information. Just got the bill...$900 for absolutely nothing in return that was useful and maybe a 30 minute consult before actually signing any engagement letter. I would not recommend these guys for any services.

I've tried over and over to get set up with this firm and I am now convinced this is a brokerage company because it has taken so long to get appointments then they don't even show up at appointments. I was tricked by the other reviews. They have wasted precious time and scheduling for me and I feel like I was just a number that they didn't care about.

I am writing this review because I feel a moral obligation to warn people about trusting this law firm.
From the outset, it is deeply concerning that the attorney failed to prioritize my case by neglecting to thoroughly review the information provided by the guardian ad litem. This negligence reflects a lack of professionalism and diligence on their part. By disregarding crucial documentation that could have supported my case, they effectively hindered my ability to present a strong argument in court.
Furthermore, the attorney's consistent denial of my requests to submit important documents is nothing short of unacceptable. As a client, I have the right to expect prompt and efficient service, especially when it comes to gathering evidence. The attorney's failure to prioritize my needs and instead divert their attention to unnecessary communication with the opposing party's attorney is a clear indication of their lack of commitment and disregard for my case.
Equally troubling is the attorney's attempt to pass me off to other attorneys under the guise of providing them with "experience." This is a direct betrayal of my trust and confidence in their abilities. When I hired this attorney, I did so with the expectation that they would personally handle my case and provide the necessary expertise. Instead, they attempted to pawn me off onto less experienced attorneys, essentially treating my situation as a learning opportunity at my expense.
The sense of bias that I felt from the beginning of my case is deeply distressing. It is the duty of any attorney to approach each case with objectivity and a commitment to ensuring their client's rights are protected. However, it appears that my attorney failed to uphold this fundamental principle. As a result, i was forced to constantly prove my worth as a fit mother, adding unnecessary stress and burden to an already difficult situation.
I would have never hired anyone from this law firm after my initial experience with Britt Beckstrom. However, after moving on and hiring Brian Eggleston, he moved to this law firm and my experience with Brian was even worse than my experience with Mr Beckstom.

If you’re looking for a lawyer look elsewhere. Mike Branum is definitely not the guy to go to. He is two faced. He will act like he cares to your face then go behind your back and talk bad about you to opposing counsel. He is unprofessional and a liar. We hired a new attorney and he acted so surprised about many things that were brought up to his attention. Ended up finding out a lot of the thing he said and were told to him that were never once mentioned to us. I would recommend everyone to save their money and look elsewhere.

Soooo, I am curious -
Last year, I chose out of an insanely complex domestic violence situation. Unfortunately, it took two moves and fleeing to a shelter to get away.
The first apartment that I left in 2023, was in the middle of management changes when I had to leave -
The management that was leaving was made aware that there had been domestic violence, that I had somewhere else to go, and that I needed to leave -
But I was not getting emails or calls back, and the office was closed for extended periods of time, etc...
Because of the severity of the situation and the urgency to create safety for my family, I ended up leaving, and moving into housing.
In November, I got a letter in the mail from The Law Offices of Kirk A. Cullimore, suing me for breaking the lease. They want almost $10K from me.
I know VAWA is a federal law and the most recent time that I had to leave my housing unit, the management just gave me some papers to fill out and then they moved me to a new place.
I got approved for Victims of Crime assistance in June last year, but I didnt know that I would be receiving an almost $10K lawsuit for breaking my lease due to domestic violence. Sometimes those offices help with relocation costs- But I didnt ask for that at that time because I didnt have this then.
My offender is currently in jail, and I am working to get a protective order and legally change my name, however...
In the meantime, I have a lawsuit coming at me for 10K that if I had, I still wouldnt give them.
I really need some guidance here, because it kinda feels like theyre harrassing me, but I dont know my rights.

Thought he was a good lawyer, went through depositions in a personal injury case. Ryan and Christian Burridge abandoned me after that, never heard from them again, until mr. Burridge notified me he was withdrawing from my case leaving Ryan as my council. I tried to call him with the number provided, facebook, every means I could think of. I finally gave up, but I would suggest you seriously reconsider if your thinking of hiring him. You would never know if he abandoned you too. I would have been ok if he a least told me he needed to drop the case, but nothing, really. Not professional.

I had some criminal charges that were affecting my license with DOPL. I consulted with Ryan and he not only helped me save my professional license, he worked on the criminal case to get the charges dismissed. Although the process was very stressful, Ryan was intelligent and understanding with me and my wife. He got the case against me dismissed and represented me in the licensing case. He was really well prepared and honestly made the state attorney look bad. I would highly recommend Ryan as an attorney.

Honestly, I could not have asked for a better attorney. First, I never hoped to ever need an attorney for my divorce, but secondly, I always heard about how horrible attorney's are for returning their client's phone calls. Never have I been more wrong. Who would have thought my attorney would be so quick to answer all of my questions whether it be through email, phone, or sometimes even for a last minute in-office visit? Unfortunately, divorce is becoming more and more common. If anyone needs a divorce, this is the guy to go to!

Nathan is helping us with a case in preventing an individual from taking out bankruptcy. He has helped us in presenting a criminal action against this person. I have appreciated the ease in working with Nathan, his honesty in explaining our rights, and costs, along with letting us know he will do his best but the case will be determined upon it's merits. This helped us in deciding how much we are willing to risk. I don't want to be told you can't lose, and then find out I wasted a lot of money. I called to attain an attorney for my boyfriend. The lady that answered was very sweet and said she would get Joe to call me. When I spoke to Joe, he just kept telling me how stupid I was and cutting me down for being disabled. He finally calmed down enough to tell me I couldn't afford them ( even though they clearly state everyone can do a payment plan). He was rude, unkind and kind of an a complete jerk. Kinda glad I didn't pursue them .

We had an extremely bad experience with the firm. We had a contract with a flat fee but the office manager broke it before the case was solved. He forced us to plead guilty otherwise they will terminate the contract and stop working on it immediately. Or we can pay them $5000 more to continue the case. Our family was super stressful and had to accept pleading guilty even though we are innocent. Because we don’t have $5000 after playing them a flat fee. They used very harsh words to threaten us to plead guilty, and refused to communicate with us, even though we were willing to pay a little bit in addition to a flat fee. They broke the contract completely. All they wanted was taking your money and force you to plead guilty so they can close the case. We felt broken and helpfulless. Never work with them!

Shawn Farris said he could help me dispute a contract with my previous employer and get me what I was owed after paying his $50 consultations fee. I didn’t hear from him for 2 months after. He kept saying he was busy and would get to it. 2 months later he said he had a conference call with them and they sent a check for $1500 dollars. They owe me $60k! Then no contact after that! I got a bill from him for $1480! He won’t respond to emails or call back after leaving messages with his receptionist. Not very professional at all! I paid him and am now working with a real professional.

I had contacted my nephew , a lawyer in California, because of a serious escalation in the harassment to myself from an individual who was an acquaintance I had known here in California but had moved to Utah. This individual was calling me at home, at my office accusing me of the most ludicrous offenses against him, his family and even his pets. This had been going on for quite awhile but when his harassment went from threatening phone calls to being served a restraining order , a small claims court case, and trying to get a D.A. order for my arrest for alleged hate crimes against him and his family, I had to protect myself and get legal advice and representation. I was worried and did not know what to do until I contacted my nephew. Unfortunately he was not licensed to practice law in the state of Utah, but fortunately he asked his senior partners if they had a recommendation and they all said without a doubt the law firm of Andrew Deiss was who I should contact. Well that was over a year ago and I am so fortunate that I was directed to him. From day one Andrew's law firm has had my back, have taken care of me legally and emotionally by giving me peace of mind and all the reassurance that I am safe and they are there for me. I cannot say enough about the confidence I have in Andrew Deiss and his team and their professionalism ,attention to detail and the sage advice I always receive from him. Needless to say he and his law firm's legal expertise and understanding of the law is one of the best and top ranked in the state of Utah. Confused during the majority of my case. Did not understand what was going on. Probably because there were numerous different people with their hands in the basket I never knew who was working my case. Thought everything was good and done in 2023, but come to find out Cassie and her team dropped the ball and my custody case was never filed with the courts. A year later my case was about to be thrown out. Then to top it off, After making payment arrangements with me for her outrageously high prices, she dropped out of my case! I now have no legal counsel for a court date she caused by not filing my case and she also went back on her agreement on allowing me to pay a certain amount per month until I got on my feet. Couldn’t have happened at a worse time. Thanks Cassie! (sarcasm) Would highly NOT recommend this firm and after reading other reviews, charging a ridiculous amount and then dumping you is what she seems to do.
