My case had very quickly become something nobody ever expected, Doug included. This said, the way Doug and his team handled situations and in the timely manner was all one could could ask for. Doug’s approach and demeanor really showed to be extremely successful. The knowledge and professionalism made the miserable process easier to deal with. Do not hire this law firm. You wont get the lawyer you paid for and signed agreements with, you wont get the attention you deserve, and you will have to do most of the job for them. Hire anyone els. Jaimie richards is a liar and huge waste of money as is Kevin. They don't do the work they are paid to do. They do not listen to their clients nor do they fight for the clients best interest. Kevin is lazy and refuses to do the work he is hired and has a very hard time separating his personal life from his work duties on top of lying to clients that have paid for his services. If you care about your case at all hire literally anyone els other than this firm. As u can see from the responses to reviews. They are full of excuses. Almost 3yrs deep into a divorce case with Jaimie and nothing has been accomplished. Do not hire the richards. Lazy and liars

If I could leave 0 stars I would! Kevin is unprofessional. I have reported him to the Utah state bar. He doesn’t communicate, he didn’t inform me of anything going on with my case, he’s old and constantly missing court to deal with heart issues and physical therapy, he never sent me any links to appear in court which resulted in me missing my court date and getting a warrant issued. I didn’t have the money or resources for a lawyer someone else found this person and paid him to represent me. Unfortunately he did not represent me at all! So please if you can find another lawyer that actually cares about your case go somewhere else. I’ve reported Kevin and based on reviews so have other people. Hopefully that’s enough to get him removed.

My husband and I were referred to Chad through my husband’s insurance for will preparation. After 5 minutes of being in his office we ended up walking out because he was so unprofessional, uninterested in helping us, and belittling.
I would highly recommend finding a different attorney for any legal service. As many other reviews note, he seems to normally conduct business in this rude and unprofessional manner.

Ron has been my attorney for a little over two years as I navigated a highly contentious divorce. I’ve also worked with his associate, Jennifer closely and often. They have been an absolute dream team. They have always looked out for the best interest of my kids and I and did everything in their power to get us through this process and into a better place so we can heal and move forward. They were always prepared, listened to my experiences and concerns, explained things well, and were often available quickly when situations would arise unexpectedly but needed attention. Ron is wonderful at balancing the line of keeping peace and avoiding conflict when possible, but being aggressive and an advocate when he needs to be. Every time we were in court he was prepared, quick with information and answers, and aware of even the smallest details of my case. I had complete confidence in him in the courtroom, which brought me some peace in very stressful situations. Jennifer is adept in the legal world and has always been able to answer my questions and help me understand the process. But the most beautiful thing about her is she can do that while still holding space for compassion and empathy for the ways this experience affects a person emotionally. That’s not an easy combination to find in an attorney. Ron and Jennifer saw me as a person, not just as another one of their many clients. They trusted me as much as I trusted them and believed in me during the times it was hard for me to believe in myself. As things are finally coming to a close, I am infinitely grateful that I had them in my corner during the hardest part of my life. If I could do a zero star: I would.
I am writing this review because I feel a moral obligation to warn people about trusting this law firm.
From the outset, it is deeply concerning that the attorney failed to prioritize my case by neglecting to thoroughly review the information provided by the guardian ad litem. This negligence reflects a lack of professionalism and diligence on their part. By disregarding crucial documentation that could have supported my case, they effectively hindered my ability to present a strong argument in court.
Furthermore, the attorney's consistent denial of my requests to submit important documents is nothing short of unacceptable. As a client, I have the right to expect prompt and efficient service, especially when it comes to gathering evidence. The attorney's failure to prioritize my needs and instead divert their attention to unnecessary communication with the opposing party's attorney is a clear indication of their lack of commitment and disregard for my case.
Equally troubling is the attorney's attempt to pass me off to other attorneys under the guise of providing them with "experience." This is a direct betrayal of my trust and confidence in their abilities. When I hired this attorney, I did so with the expectation that they would personally handle my case and provide the necessary expertise. Instead, they attempted to pawn me off onto less experienced attorneys, essentially treating my situation as a learning opportunity at my expense.
The sense of bias that I felt from the beginning of my case is deeply distressing. It is the duty of any attorney to approach each case with objectivity and a commitment to ensuring their client's rights are protected. However, it appears that my attorney failed to uphold this fundamental principle. As a result, i was forced to constantly prove my worth as a fit mother, adding unnecessary stress and burden to an already difficult situation.
I would have never hired anyone from this law firm after my initial experience with Britt Beckstrom. However, after moving on and hiring Brian Eggleston, he moved to this law firm and my experience with Brian was even worse than my experience with Mr Beckstom.

If you’re looking for a lawyer look elsewhere. Mike Branum is definitely not the guy to go to. He is two faced. He will act like he cares to your face then go behind your back and talk bad about you to opposing counsel. He is unprofessional and a liar. We hired a new attorney and he acted so surprised about many things that were brought up to his attention. Ended up finding out a lot of the thing he said and were told to him that were never once mentioned to us. I would recommend everyone to save their money and look elsewhere.

I spoke with on of their attorney's about a case I was facing for an initial consultation. While extremely knowledgeable, the attorney was prone to interrupting, misunderstanding, and not listening. I understand that this was a free consultation and that I was not a paying client but this interaction has made me refuse to consider this law firm in the future.

Took two months of waiting and hounding the attorney I was engaged with to actually get back some legal templates. When I did receive them, they contained the wrong information. Just got the bill...$900 for absolutely nothing in return that was useful and maybe a 30 minute consult before actually signing any engagement letter. I would not recommend these guys for any services.

I worked with Greg at Hoole&King on a recommendation from another cyclist. He freed me up to focus on recovering from my injuries and succeeded in getting far more money than I expected in settlement to help with ongoing costs that insurance doesn't cover. He was courteous and kind in every interaction and always seemed concerned with my well-being beyond just being another case. I'm sure he does great work for all of his clients, but I really felt that he understood my experience as a cyclist, and that gave me extra comfort with him.

Pretty disappointed, I was referred here to assist with an adoption. I was told to send a lengthy email with a TON of info and once it's reviewed they will call me back. A week goes by and I never heard from anyone, so I found another attorney. 3 weeks go by and they call and ask if I want to proceed... my adoption is almost completed at this point.

3.5 STAR REVIEW OF CHAD STEUR LAW
Chad regularly lies and tramples the rules--which might be fine to you, if you benefit from his cheating. He is an impetuous attack dog who cares about his clients and fights hard for them. He is what people, myself included, look for in a litigator. While most attorneys are averse to conflict, Chad is not. Moreover, Chad is not greedy like many attorneys. Then why not a five-star review, you say?
Chad's problem is that he lacks wisdom. He fights--and usually wins--legal battles that might ultimately, and unwittingly, lead to your losing the war. Though I recommend Chad, he is like nitroglycerine; so I suggest you consult a second attorney before you let Chad loose.
(The above is my opinion as a lay person based on my dealings with Chad Steur. I do not present it as a statement of irrefutable fact.)

My husband and I were referred to Chad through my husband’s insurance for will preparation. After 5 minutes of being in his office we ended up walking out because he was so unprofessional, uninterested in helping us, and belittling.
