Over the past 12 years Mr Jacobs has handled many business and personal matters for myself, my family and my friends. Recommending someone is always something I am hesitant about because your opinion is subjective, but not in this case. Business matters are something if not handled well can be easily be dealt with, simply fire the person and move on. But personal matters are hard and the majority of the time you only get one shot to get it right. Hiring the "Best and Most Qualified Person" can be difficult because your case needs to be handled correctly, sincerely and by someone you can trust and today that is a tall order and one that is not easy to fill. Mr Jacobs handled issues for my sister as she was facing the end of her life due to cancer. He was kind and caring, he told her that she may be able to take her case forward but he asked her if "spending her last days going to court to win money would that truly be "Worth" the time she had left" , and of course her answer was "No". But, many other lawyers might have opted for the large pay off from her case. I have since recommended him to three friends that have been in accidents and he has handled their cases so well they have said they received "more then they thought they ever would". Like I stated in the beginning, it is hard to recommend ,,,but Mr Jacobs is an exception!

We needed an attorney to help us with our copy write issues enabling us to pass the last hurdle in getting our work published. Manuel first helped us understand the surrounding legal issues involved. Once he did that he was able to ask us the right questions to guide his research. One of the things which impressed us the most was the quality of Manuel's research. This made us comfortable that all our issues were covered in depth and nothing would sneak up on us a year after we published. Manuel is also very good in interpreting the law in practical terms. Manuel helped us understand the consequences of every decision we could have made. This was very useful in helping us make what we believed were the best informed decisions and we feel comfortable now in moving forward and publishing our work. I found her thru my company Group Legal program and boy am I glad I did. My case is interstate with me living in NC and the NCP in VA. Sadly my NCP is what they call a "runner", which made the case extremely difficult and time consuming. I hired Mrs. Hardy off our first phone call. I was out of sight and had never met her till our first hearing, but she was someone that I trusted off her knowledge and professionalism. I was not disappointed.
My case was about 7 mos long with a lot of motions and issues, but she was diligent and efficient. She didn't waste time or money and was always willing to find the time to talk and explain the legal issues of my case. I was not a good client because I thought I knew what I was doing, I was emotional and at times very hard to deal with. It didn't phase Mrs. Hardy at all. She listened and advised in the best manner for my child. She Won. She is a winner.. She changed my life and the life of my child. She made the difference and that's exactly what you want when you are dealing in Family matters. Its scary to go to court but having an experienced and professional attorney who is compassionate and patient, changes the whole process. Being out of state made it even more difficult and nerve racking and of course the court system is very slow. I was able to put my faith in her, while continuing my life in NC. I did not have the resources to go back and forth to court and I left it all in her capable hands and she lead me to Victory and an extremely excellent outcome. She got justice for my child and that has no price tag.
I plan to use her if my case is appealed. I highly recommend this lawyer.

The lawyers at Huffman and Huffman were very methodical in their approach to my claim against the insurance companies after a car accident in which I was hit by another vehicle. The day after the accident, Richard Huffman came to my house to discuss the accident and assured me that everything will be good.
Over the next three years, I received regular updates as to what was going on - it took so long due to medical issues from the accident. When it looked like the case would go to court, Keith Leonard was assigned the case. He kept me up to date every time there was an update. He let me know what the insurance companies were doing and guided me through the deposition process.
Finally, when the insurance companies (including my uninsured motorist coverage) were ready to settle, he notified me that day.
Once the insurance companies sent the checks to Huffman and Huffman, I met with Brad Huffman who explained in detail how the expenses were calculated and the amount of money that I was to receive that same day.
I hope I never have to use an attorney again but if I do, it will definitely be "the Brothers in Law," otherwise known as Huffman & Huffman.

My attorney took so much time before and during the actual court date to review case documents and to explain procedures with the court. He further explained clearly the testimony that would be required and instructed witnesses on the key points of evidence that needed to be presented in the case!
He was clear and thorough with organizing the pertinent case information and providing copies to all parties.
On the day of court he was EARLY to arrive and was there to provide comfort and continually update his client!

Attorney Woodward was able to drop all three charges I had against me at trial, in literally less than 5 mins!! My charges was serious and if convicted I would've faced jail time. Mr. Phalen was an excellent attorney for my product defect/product warranty suit. Other attorneys turned my case away due to the difficulties and complexity involved. Knowing nothing about the product involved, Mr. Phalen and his associates tackled my suit with an assertive attitude. He sought out the right experts and educated himself on the particulars of my case. We ultimately resolved outside of court during mediation but I felt extremely confident had we gone to court we would have prevailed.

Bill Johnson is an amazing lawyer that I'd recommend to anyone. I had a dui violation that was circumstantial but being a third violation you can only imagine i was in need of serious help. I want to thank Mr David Rosenblum for the outstanding service provided regarding my personal injury in the car accident case. It took more than 4 years for two attorneys (one in Maryland, another one in Virginia) to get the case settled. This whole process was, at times, difficult for me and sometimes painful. I have been an attorney in Virginia since 1985 specializing in Administrative and Regulatory law. I have learned one thing in my practice, which is not to practice outside my area of expertise. I was hit by a car crossing the street in a crosswalk by an irresponsible driver last year in March, and fortunately only suffered three painful fractured ribs, and no internal injuries. I found Mr. Brock's work as an injury attorney to be highly professional, meticulous and thorough. He worked tirelessly and efficiently in negotiating with the insurance carrier and reached a totally satisfactory settlement covering my medical expenses as well as pain and suffering. He is an excellent communicator, regularly keeping me apprised of the status of my case. I was airlifted to UVA after an accident in which I have no memory of even entering the vehicle. I spent 3 weeks in the ICU & 2 days in a regular room. I only have some memory of the last two days.
The "trooper" at the scene of my accident did everything he could to find some crime with which to charge me, even after I had a boot clot in my lung almost causing my death in the ICU, & they suggested to me that this is what had happened to cause my accident.
Why would he do this, you may ask? Because, even though I am a gunsmith, Glock Armorer, & have taken many NRA & other Advanced Hangun Courses & instruct friends & family privately, I was carrying more than one gun! Though the second gun was unloaded & in my pocket & in the LEAST powerful pistol cartridge in the world, even though I had a permit and have held one for YEARS & harmed NO ONE, though my wounded Grandfather killed the Nazi that bayoneted him & I carried this ancient relic as a reminder & "good luck" charm, even though it is so old, unreliable, & underpowered as to be USELESS for self-defense, this man who calls himself a VA State Trooper was determined to "get me" with the ONLY thing he could come up with from which I could not defend myself -wreckless driving! You see, I have NO memory of the event whatsoever, have driven that stretch of road hundreds if not thousands of times safely, & I could think of nothing whatsoever to defend myself. I was guilty until proven innocent!
Having used Victor in the adoption of my daughter years before, having had him successfully handle a divorce case for a LE close friend of mine, I retained him again to represent me in this matter.
I went to court, Mr. Santos conferred with opposing council & the "state trooper," & then patted my shoulder & suggested we speak outside. Upon leaving the courtroom, he informed me that the case would not be heard for some time; but I did not need to stay, as it was going to be dismissed!
Soon after, I received a letter from Victor stating that the case had been dismissed; but it also warned that a stenographer had been present for some party that claimed I was responsible for their far less injury.
They did sue & the insurance company settled with them. It is much easier to find someone guilty by a preponderance of the evidence in a civil case than it is to find them guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a criminal case. My insurance company's attorney represented me in the civil case, & lied straight to my face about what was & was not going to be said. That said, Mr. Santos did an excellent job throughout what I retained him to do, as he does for everyone; I would hire him again in a second & will always recommend him to any innocent person I meet who is in need of the very BEST attorney!
The "state trooper" even SUGGESTED TO MY WIFE, as I was being loaded into a helicopter & on death's door, that I was running from something, tying to commit suicide, etc! He said this to my grief-stricken wife as I was leaving one hospital for another, thinking I would surely die! I had a broken neck, a broken back, broken. ribs, was crushed on my left side with a rib THROUGH my left lung, my right lung was collapsed, & I had a brain bleed. The "trooper" had thought me dead at the scene & even talked about calling his superior to report me so, as I was unresponsive! With probably more qualifications than HE had, veterans & former LE throughout my family & a circle of friends who are either milititary, ex-military, LE, former LE, or some combinations thereof, this man who calls himself a "Virgina State Trooper" set out to crucify me!
Remember, "Troopers are for your protection!" Well, not this one! He delivered my "ticket" to me, as I was barely able to stand, still in my bathrobe, & told me the same as he told my wife: "There was NO evidence you were exceeding the speed limit!" He then wrote the exact opposite in his report & LIED in his testimony at the deposition!

I was referred to Mike after a drunk driver hit me in November 2013. Mike was able to assist me with both the insurance companies. He was knowledgeable, down to earth, and friendly. Best of all he wasn't the normal no personality attorney, (excuse the bow-tie, I think its just his thing). In the end, I got more than I had expected I would. I worked with Mr. Armstrong during a difficult case with a difficult insurance company, and he never failed to represent my interests
The insurance company was very difficult. Mr. Armstrong handled my needs and I was able to focus on my recuperation, instead of needless drama with the insurance company
I have a brain injury from the wreck and I know I can be difficult to deal with. Mr. Armstrong and all professionals at Allen & Allen have been wonderful.
I really can't speak highly enough of my attorney. I certainly hope I never need another accident attorney, but I certainly know where I'll go, if I do
