Recently my wife and I met with David Burt in order for him to help us with legal issues and documents. I am so grateful to Deeb Elder Law. My mother had always been a very independent (read stubborn) lady until COVID 19. She was so ill and was hospitalized several times, but amazingly recovered. Still it took so much away from her mental and physical capacity. It also required her to move to a long-term care facility.
I live in another state (Michigan) and dealing with all my mother’s needs was a logistical and emotional nightmare. When my father passed away, she was the first lawyer willing to answer a basic question regarding international estates without wanting us to retain her services before answering. My wife and I were both overdue to have our estate planning looked at. We both have children from our previous marriages, most of whom are grown. The last time I started this process with a different attorney, I was basically just sent a long questionnaire and told to get back with them when I was done. (I never completed the questionnaire because parts of it made no sense to me.) Ana took the time to answer questions we had and so we could provide her with the information she needed. After having two failed attorneys represent me on my divorce case, I was saved by Mr. Ronald Lantz. He is a rare gem in this field. Mr. Lantz, unlike other attorneys who are only interested in their pocketbook, is a sincere, honest, caring, and professional attorney who’s integrity is definitely apparent. He takes his time and does his due diligence in making sure I was informed, prepared, and ready to fight on my behalf. He valued me as a client and was empathetic of my crisis and never took financial advantage of my situation. He is a great role of what a fiduciary attorney or professional is supposed to be. Mr. Lantz was able to settle my divorce shortly after I signed up with him, something that the other 2 attorneys couldn’t accomplish after 2 years of battle. I found Nancy Cleaveland to be very knowledgeable and have had her handle several legal issues for me. She is very direct and helped me have realistic expectations. Before I was referred to Magen, I had consulted more than four lawyers to review my husband immigration case. All of them brushed me off, or quote me an outrageous amount of money because they consider the case to be extremely difficult if not impossible. Being referred to Magen Kellam was a blessing! from the first consultation appointment, I felt respected and heard. Magen is incredibly trustworthy, professional, and kind. I didn't feel like I hired her, but instead, she accepted "my case", which was indeed difficult but not impossible like other lawyers had stated before. Our family hired Mr. Prentice to protect my mother’s assets from the 10k per month bill she was receiving from her nursing facility. Mr. Prentice swiftly stopped this bill from continuing and saved her hard earned savings. Our family paid Mr. Prentice quite a bit, but it was 100% worth it! I had to deal with an guardianship accounting issue dating back to 2005. I visited multiple lawyers prior to meeting Ms. Woods and found that they really didn't seem to have a full grasp of what needed to be done to properly file the guardianship accounting paperwork.
Within ten minutes of our initial meeting, it was clear Ms. Woods knew the exact steps to take to get the paperwork in proper order. She was able to give my wife and I very specific instructions on the paperwork we would need, the paperwork she would need and the paperwork the court would need. She also asked us questions we didn't know to ask and that none of the other lawyers even brought up.
With her guidance and the assistance of her associates Karen and Norma, we were able to get all of the paperwork put together in a couple of weeks (which is even more impressive when noting these were holiday weeks). The paperwork has now been properly filed with the court and we now know how and when to get this paperwork filed for future years.
I cannot begin to stress how much peace of mind having someone who knows the process as well as Ms. Woods does can provide. I would highly recommend her for any family law matter.

Recently I had the great pleasure of meeting and working with Mr. Howard Rosenblatt an estate planning lawyer He is an excellent lawyer very knowledgeable, patient, kind, and has a great sense of humor. The areas of need that I sought help for were personal and financial. Prior to each meeting he provided a draft of materials, well in advance, that I could review before our meeting. This allowed me with time necessary to study and ponder the documents so I could prepare questions. He took the time to go over every question that I had, and never rushed me.

Mr Whiteman helped me deal with a large bank who wanted to foreclose on my house, even after the mortgage was almost paid off. He never suggested giving up, like several of the other lawyers I had tried to work with. He always answered my emails and calls; was always compassionate and had empathy for my difficult and unique situation. I live outside the area and I had a house in Dixie County with code violations and an unresponsive tenant she was able to. In short order, clear up the problem with the county, evicted tenant and make sure the house was cleared out and free of code violations, set me up with a local Real estate agent.and was very thorough and diligent through the entire process.

When I came to Jennifer I was an emotional wreck. My husband had just died with no will and massive farming debt. We had been together for 27 years and I was lost.
