I and my siblings had the privilege of working with Kurt when my father passed away. Kurt was very professional, communicative and respectful. He thoroughly walked us through the estate process. There were some rough times of handling the estate with one of our siblings. But overall Kurt stayed committed to finishing the the task successfully. He did a phenomenal job. I recommend Mr. Lichtenberg for anyone seeking a excellent probate lawyer.

I was introduced to Megaen through a colleague who had hired her for estate planning purposes and who'd highly recommended her. Because estate planning involves very personal and emotional decisions, I wanted to make sure that my attorney wasn't just competent, but also empathetic and flexible to my and my family's specific needs. On my first call with Megaen, it was clear that I'd found someone who met all of my requirements and more. Throughout the planning process, 3 things distinguished Megaen: 1. Megan clearly understands all the intricacies of estate law, but just as importantly, she explains things in a way that laypeople can understand. This is a huge help, particularly with something as important and nuanced as estate planning. As a husband and a parent, I want to make sure I understand all my options and exactly what I'm signing - Megaen always responded quickly to my requests and questions, and took all the time needed to explain everything in a way that gave me confidence in my decisions. 2. Megaen has what I consider to be a pretty remarkable memory. Throughout the planning process, each time we'd chat, it was as though no time had passed. Megaen remembered all the details of everything we'd discussed in prior meetings, even when I'd already forgotten some of them. Again, this gave me confidence in working with Megaen. 3. Megaen not only exudes great professionalism in all her interactions, but she's also very personable. This distinguishes her from other attorneys I've worked with over the years, and I believe it's one of the most important characteristics to look for in an estate planning attorney. In all my interactions, I felt as though Megaen was approaching the planning process with the same level of empathy and care that I'd get from a family member or close friend. I came to Megaen for help handling my late aunt’s estate/probate. Megaen was willing to take on my case when others wouldn’t. I didn’t have the resources to pay up front so others refused to help me. For this reason, messy family issues I was dealing with regarding the estate, and the fact that I lived in southwest Idaho and my aunt’s estate was in Spokane, I was extremely stressed and overwhelmed when I came to Megaen. Megaen helped ease that and guide me through the messiness. In addition to the standard probate process she had to deal with senior abuse, financial abuse, family issues, theft & fraud, major financial mistakes made by a bank and their, etc, etc, etc. She handled all of this smoothly, efficiently, and very professionally. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her. No words can truly capture how thankful I am for her and all that she did. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. If you need someone that can handle a probate case, and all of the various issues that may come with it, professionally, effectively, smoothly and with compassion, Megaen is the person for you. I VERY highly recommend her to anyone needing help like this!

We retained Megaen Childress to assist us in separating from a family owned LLC without losing what legally belonged to us. The legal system is very complicated for a lay person and Megaen was able to answer a million questions and represent us through mediation and litigation successfully. She was very responsive to us and occasionally called back even on the week-ends when we were in need of immediate advice. Our situation was both contentious and complicated and not once did Megaen lose her cool, even in the face of threats. We were very satisfied with Megaen's representation and would use her services again if there was a need.

This review will not do the experience I had with The Bolan Law Group, specifically attorney Mike McCarthy, justice. Mike and his team took the time to explain every option pertaining to my case, even the tough ones that required accountability on my end. He offered multiple solutions and was thorough in explaining each one, both the pros and the cons. He handled the opposition masterfully and stood steadfast in our position without wavering. He pushed when it was needed and soft pedaled when pushing wasn't the strategy. Mr. McCarthy alleviated all of the amprehenstions I had about "Attorneys" and refuted all of the old adages and negative criticisms that are placed at their feet. Mike offers the "White Glove" experience and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and satisfied. His attention to detail, follow up, response time, and follow through is on POINT! I couldn't make a GREATER recommendation to anyone needing legal representation.

I would definitely recommend Mike to anyone going through a difficult divorce he has helped me out very much. when it came to my ex wanting to change things up last minute he definitely went to bat for me. Mike was always professional very upfront with everything and always reliable and responded back to any question even if it was small Mike was very fast to get back to me never made me feel like any of my questions were stupid or small even after my divorce was final my ex has tried many things to try and change or make work in his favor and Mike has stayed on to help me with them he has never made me feel like I was just a client for the day or that he never had time for me he is definitely made me feel like a real person and that my case mattered and seemed legitimately concerned about mine and my children's well-being and for that I would definitely recommend Mike McCarthy for an attorney to any of my friends and family I definitely wish him and his team the best and I thank him very much for everything that he has done for me and my kids through this difficult divorce.

Ryan Blodgett guided my wife and I through the estate planning process in an organized manner. He carefully explained each step of the process, the purpose of each document that may be included in the estate planning, and helped us determine the scope of the estate planning. He asked pertinent questions, explained what information (and why) he needed from us, and used a checklist to collect the required information to complete the estate planning. My wife and I hired Mr. Blodgett to help us with our estate planning. He made the process very simple for us and we were able to sort out our wills, power of attorney and other documents very easily. A very belated review that I just realized I never left - We had a great experience with Kathleen and her office in the matter of a step-parent adoption. She was thorough in explaining the different types of step-parent adoption that could apply to our case (contested vs uncontested) and with her guidance, we were able to land on an uncontested case. She handled all the communication and paperwork with the additional parent. As this was during COVID, our hearing was held virtually, but it was a quick and easy process the whole way through. No surprises or hidden charges, and both Kathleen and her office staff were incredibly kind. Highly recommend.

My life was destroyed after I was horrifically attacked due to landlord negligence. I was really afraid for my future and didn't know where to turn. I had a phone conference scheduled, no one called me, so when I called the office, the voice message said their office was closed for “holiday” but it wasn’t a holiday. And if that was the case, then the receptionist should have never scheduled it for that day! I’ve called back many times, left messages, emailed many times and STILL, no one has contacted me. Extremely unprofessional!!

We are contemplating a move back to Washington state where we lived for many years. Without proper estate planning we would potentially be subject to the Washington estate tax. n our initial contacts with the firm, we clearly identified that we were residents in another state. We were instructed to provide our detailed financial picture as well as our current estate planning documents which we provided promptly and told that our information would be forwarded to the attorneys for evaluation. The following is the email response. “Thank you for filling out and returning your Questionnaire. I will forward your information to our attorneys for review. Once they have completed their review, I will be back in touch with you regarding a quote for services and the next steps for scheduling.” Well over a month went by with no word back from STIB. I finally contacted them by email requesting a status update. Within minutes, I received the following reply. “Thank you very much for contacting our firm. Unfortunately, we are not able to take on your case. Our firm does not advise out-of-state residents on tax issues. Our focus is estate planning and long term care planning.” The STIB website clearly tax issues as part of estate planning. I also found no restrictions on attorneys in Washington state providing consultation to out-of-state residents considering residency in Washington. Needless to say, I was astounded by what I consider to extremely poor communication and timely follow-up. If it is indeed not their policy to advise out-of-state residents on tax issues, I would have expected to have been informed of that policy up front thus saving us the time of compiling and sending detailed and confidential financial and estate planning information. In my opinion, this represents incompetent and totally unprofessional behavior.

We took our beloved Italian Greyhound to our local veterinarian for a routine exam. To our surprise, the veterinarian informed us that our dog needed all his teeth removed. We were hesitant to accept this diagnosis, but the veterinarian insisted we follow his treatment plan, which included strong antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, and pain medication. After two days, our dog became very sick. He stopped eating and drinking. We called the veterinarian's office every day, but they ignored us and did not return our calls. Finally, we had to take our dog to the emergency room. We were absolutely devastated when he died. The emergency room veterinarians said he had complications from the medications he was prescribed. A couple of days later, I got ahold of the original veterinarian. He was rude, argumentative, and denied any responsibility. I told him I would hold him accountable, and that's when I reached out to Adam. I am so glad I did. Adam got justice for our beloved dog and family member. He really cares about his clients. He is compassionate, tough, and an expert negotiator, able to maintain a strong position while showing a willingness to settle. Adam secured a very respectable settlement for us, much more than we were expecting.Our dog did not deserve what happened to him. Adam fights tirelessly for those who cannot defend themselves. Now, our family has closure, and the person responsible was held accountable. I am so glad we reached out to Adam.

I believe someone working or has worked for this company has/was doing illegal activities. For an example, Shehana Buksh sent a Will and Testament to someone via email without thoroughly verifying if that individual was the correct person. Also, the document looked like it was illegally edited.

Dont be fooled by the Google reviews. I spoke with Rebecca King about my father with huntingtons disease. Long story short - they only take clear cut cases after someone with an illness actually hurts someone. You have to wait until the person you love and are trying to protect actually does something you were trying to prevent. And they charge 450 per hour only after its a clear cut win because your loved one is in legal trouble. Do yourself a favor and find another lawyer that's willing to do the work to present a compelling case before shet hits the fan. If you're looking to update an estate plan, revise or fill out some paperwork, and you have tons of money to spare - Rebecca King will be your huckleberry. If you need a lawyer - look elseware.

I was facing 60 months for an assault and within 6 months Morgan Benfield took me to trial and got me an acquitted via an “Not Guilty” verdict from the jury. Looking back at this process, I would sincerely tell anyone whom is looking for a defense attorney to consider hiring Morgan Benfield. His entire philosophical process was way beyond easy and in the end, despite the flagrant dishonesty and intentional difficulty inflicted upon us by the State, especially during the pretrial process, he smoothly navigated and directed us to a big win. If you hire Mr Benfield please understand that the courts respect him as well. For example, whenever I showed up to arraignment, the State made it crystal clear that they were going to ask for $50,000 bail. Once they’d been informed that I was represented by Morgan Benfield, that request suddenly plummeted to $15,000, the judge ultimately deciding to release me for free under my own recognizance. “Mr Cho I see that you’ve hired your own attorney” he said, prior to releasing me. I say again Mr Benfield is super easy to work with. So easy that at times I felt uncomfortable with the lack of effort that was required of me. You literally pay for his services and let the man work. Other lawyers, many times more expensive ones will not only ask you for their fee but then will give you a packet/check list of all the things that you need to do on your end before they get started. They’ll even attach your bill on the very top as they hand it all over to you. This is the extreme opposite of Mr Benfield. His approach is unorthodox and he even has a catch-phrase that he uses once he has them where he wants them (I won’t disclose it and ruin the fun) but by the time Morgan Benfield was finished that jury took only an hour to decide and I truly feel the only reason that it took that long was for the jury to give the pretense to the judge that they were debating amongst themselves. We were done by lunch. Trust me. This guy is good. Thank you to all my predecessors that left reviews prior to me because without them I may have never sought out his services. Thank you again Mr Benfield for beating my charge!

I was recently referred to Woodinville Law by a family member so that I could finally get my 20 yr old estate plan updated. I found their office to be very warm and welcoming by their wonderful receptionist, Andrea with her beautiful smile and offer of refreshment as she would lead me to the conference room for my meeting with Amber Hunt. I felt an instant connection with Amber at our first meeting and just knew she was the going to be the perfect attorney for me. And she did not disappoint. In fact she went above and beyond my wildest expectations. Amber is open, warm and friendly and totally professional at the same time. She answered all my questions (lots), and did an amazing job on my new estate plan. She was prompt and it was so impressively put together, it exceeded my expectations by miles. I also really appreciate the fact that Amber prefers to charge a flat fee for her services, as opposed to the usual hourly rate/by the minute policy many attorney's use. As such I knew exactly what my plan was going to cost right up front and didn't need to worry about it costing more if it became more complicated than anticipated (it didn't). All my phone calls and/or emails were handled promptly and if Amber was otherwise engaged, then her terrific right hand assistant Jacob was immediately all over it. The bottom line, from my experience, is that Amber is not only super smart, very knowledgeable in the estate planning arena, and never made me feel rushed as she patiently answered my umpteen questions, she also made me feel like we were practically best friends. It really felt that comfortable. I tell you, it's really hard to find great customer service these days, but Amber and her team have it in spades. I highly recommend Amber L. Hunt at Woodinville Law for all your estate planning needs and I feel certain she will not disappoint and you will be at least as impressed as I have been.

Why Nick Pontarolo should represent you if you have been injured on the job! Read this Post to the end and you will clearly see why you need Nick and this Firm! I'm 65 years old and have worked hard Construction Labor for most of my life until I injured my shoulder at the end of 2018. That is when I opened my first "Workers Comp Claim" and after many Exams, Tests and Scans, an Orthopedic Surgeon told me that I had "Stage 4 Osteoarthritis" on top of other serious complications that would have caused me to need a Shoulder Replacement in the very near future, especially if I kept working at my trade. I did not seek any legal counsel at the time and had to go back to work "light duty" in spite of my ongoing condition. I then was immediately reinjured after being taken off of "light duty" in middle of 2019! I saw the "Company's Preferred Doctor" that wouldn't even prescribe pain medication, despite the obvious pain I was in. I decided to call a good friend of mine that is an Employment Attorney in Portland to ask his advice. He told me that he would find me good Attorney in Spokane and through his research he gave me a short list and Nick Pontarolo's name was right on top. I called Nick and he took immediate action and control as he represented and guided me through a maze of "BUREAUCRATIC RED TAPE" involving Doctors, Employers, Attorneys, Therapists, Vocational Rehabilitation Councilors and even more. Because of Nick's connections, I have had one of the premier Shoulder Surgeons in the Country replace my shoulder and some of the best rehabilitation experts throughout the region working with me as well. While all this was going on, I never missed a "Time Loss' compensation check for 4+ years. I'm now retired, and my claim just closed and without Nick's professional representation and expertise for these last 4+ years, I truly believe that I would have lost everything I've ever worked for my entire life. Nick, You treated me like family and did an incredible job and for that I am forever grateful... My husband was heavily medicated as he was under hospice care for stage 4 cancer. I was medicated due to depression. Mr Curran was recommended to us by Spokane Hospice as someone who would come to our house to update my husband's will. I do not believe Mr Curran did his best work for us. My husband was very distraught and agitated, I did my best not to upset him anymore than necessary, and signed off on his will. Unfortunately, even though he asked if I understood what I was signing off on, I still signed, walked away crying and let the witnesses finish up with the lawyer. I understood that the will said everything was going to his children, but I also assumed I could contest the will, as signing was an act of kindness to a dying man, who repeatedly told me not to worry, that I was being taken care of. When Mr Curran left our home, he took my phone with him. It was three days of me looking before he called to say he had it. When my husband passed away his sisters were the executors of the estate. Imagine my suprise when 5 weeks after his passing, after living in this house for 10 years, I was served with an eviction notice... 3 days to get out, served on me by his sister and written up by none other than Mr Curran. Was he my husband's lawyer or his sister's lawyer? I felt there was some conflict of interest... probably wrong on that point, but still I don't think he took in my husband's mental state, or mine, into consideration. He most certainly did not consider what happened to me afterwards, and Oh My Gosh. He took my phone.

I was so fortunate a friend recommended I hire Paul for my recent divorce. Paul was everything I needed. He was calm, considerate, listened to me, took the time to discuss my options, very responsive when I contacted him and professional in every interaction. I greatly appreciated that throughout the proceedings he was thorough in all his paperwork and very timely in all the court filings. Paul was always prepared for every meeting or deadline. I was so impressed with Paul, I subsequently used him for the estate planning for myself and then my mother. I would highly recommend Paul as an attorney, he's one of the best attorneys I've worked with.

This a 5 star review, I would give 10 stars if they'd let me. My custody case was very complex. I spoke to many Washington lawyers only to be told by all of them that this is a losing battle. I was told that I would spend a lot of time and money and still lose. I hired an attorney, in Oregon where I live, to work on my custody case in Washington. They did nothing, I hired a second Oregon attorney who was helpful, they found Mr Battan, discussed options and advised me to work directly with him. I was apprehensive at first as Paul had told me that my case was not only possible, but that he felt he could get it done fairly quickly and easily. This was in contrast to what previous attorneys had said. He cited the cases that were similar, explaining why he felt a judge would rule in my favor. I decided to move forward with Paul Battan and his approach with this matter, about a month later I was awarded temporary custody, another few months and it was finalized. Paul was confident, reassuring, and was always 10 steps ahead of the other party. My only regret is that I didn't find Paul first..... about 6 months and numerous consultations were wasted on other less experienced attorneys. Don't make my mistake, you "better call Paul"!
