Brent was diligent for 2 years in pursuing my case. Andrew Harris is an exceptional attorney. This is the second time I have had to go through a child support battle with my ex. The first time was very stressful and my ex’s attorney made it very difficult to be able to come to any sort of agreement or common ground; it makes me sick to even think about. With Andrew, it was not like this at all! Andrew is so personable, that it makes it easy to talk out everything with him. He did a great job at calming my anxiety and reassuring me. His ability to be so personable was a huge help when it came to negotiating with my ex and his attorney this time around. Andrew was able to get almost everything that I asked for; due to his overwhelming ability to control the negotiations, but he also , in a very personable and professional manner, was able to keep my ex in check when he tried to start arguments. This firm was very thorough from the beginning of the case to the dismissal of the traffic ticket at the end. All of our phone calls and emails were promptly answered. Kevin's reviews speak for themselves. I had a possession case and an unlawful carry of a firearm that was over two years old and it had already been dismissed once and then been reopened another year later so it really threw me for a surprise I didn't know what to do my life depended on not having the consequences of those since my life had dramatically changed for the better. I did a little research looked up different attorneys in the area and when I seen Kevin's reviews I knew I had to call him. The whole process was super easy and my cases got dismissed I didn't have to do anything but work hard and make sure I paid Kevin. If you are looking for a criminal defense attorney… look no further. Kevin is extremely professional, thorough, and responsive. He alleviated alot of mental stress throughout the process of my case (misdemeanor criminal mischief), which ultimately got dismissed. His consultation is very straightforward and informative and his communication is excellent. He put together a great plan for me to execute prior to my initial court date and I only had to appear in court once out of 4 total court days. Even with video evidence, a police report, an arrest, a criminal background and an angry plaintiff stacking against me… Kevin pushed and with restitution paid, he got the case dismissed. On January 27, 2023, I was involved in a car accident with a semi-trailer truck on IH-35 Northbound between Austin and Pflugerville. I sustained multiple injuries, including neck, lower back, knee, and head injuries.
After consulting many law firms in the Austin area, I hired FVF Law to represent me throughout the process. Hope Guardia was assigned to my case, and from day one, she was excellent. I explained my side of the story to her, and she told me that she believed I had a case. She immediately started gathering all the evidence about the accident and started handling the negotiations and claim process with the insurance company.
I was informed every step of the way. Hope would email or call me every time she communicated with the opposing council, and she would also follow up with me after every doctor’s appointment to check on me. She was caring and valued my case.
Hope Guardia and Mark Farris were knowledgeable and had much experience in accident law and settlement procedures.
The case took over 21 months before the settlement was reached because the insurance company was dragging the case. The opposing council kept rejecting every demand that was made by my lawyer until Mark Farris came on board to assist Hope with the case. Mark pushed the insurance company to settle the case or go to court. The first time I spoke to Mark, he assured me that he was going to be very aggressive with the opposing council, and he kept his word. Because of my injuries and all my medical bills, he insisted that the insurance company pay the full policy. Moreover, we ended up going to mediation, and the final settlement amount was very close to our demand. I think the settlement was fair given the circumstances.
All my medical bills have been paid, and I have put some money aside for future medical bills as well.
I hope what happened to me that day will never happen again to me or any of my family members. However, if I ever need an injury lawyer, I will definitely hire FVF Law Firm, especially Hope Guardia and Mark Farris. These two lawyers made me feel like a family member. For that, I am grateful for what an excellent job they did. Thank you, Hope, Mark, and FVF Law, for everything you did to help me get the best settlement in my case. Y’all are forever my lawyers!
