About 2 years ago I called Lorenz and Lorenz for my accident injury case, they said they couldn't help me just very not very helpful they didn't take it but that's okay cuz I got another attorney and I got me a good amount of money for my accident. The reason why I'm making this comment is because I don't want anybody to try to call Lorenz and Lorenz if they've had an accident it's better to call anybody somebody else cuz they will not help you. It worked out for the best because I got a way better settlement than Lorenzo wrens cuz they're not trying to help anybody. Actually no I am not disappointed that Lorenz and Lorenz said no I'm glad I got a way better attorney to help me.

As mentioned in the title, David is a real straight shooter. We obtained legal consultation from him and he didn't waste anyone's time in telling us our consultation was related to, but outside of his exact area of expertise. He explained to us that if we hired him he would need to familiarize himself with the subject matter, and that would require additional time on the case and therefore additional expenditure. He then recommended 2 attorneys who do practice in the subspecialty in question, offered a refund and upon being emailed 2 weeks later gave 2 more attorneys he recommended who could help. Some lawyers are dishonest, and do nothing more than pad their billable hours. I'd like to think that most lawyers have integrity and are honest. David however is a cut above the rest. His honesty, and candor are unparalleled by any other attorney I've ever worked with (which is a handful), and in hindsight I would have hired him on the spot 2 weeks ago, regardless of the additional money needed to bring him up to speed on the subject matter. David's level of integrity is hard to find in a profession which already prides itself and generally does pretty well in this trait.

Perhaps even more importantly, he was realistic with me upfront about what the process was going to be like, what outcomes I could expect and the ways he could help. Through a frustrating process of dealing with an irrational opposing party and unreasonable opposing counsel, David did an excellent job of moving my legal action forward to a successful conclusion. Extremely knowledgeable, great listener, finds several creative solutions. I was considering doing a sublease for a room in a house, and asked David to look over several lease/sublease documents for me. Not only did he save me from accidentally being responsible for rent on an entire house, he made several modifications to the sublease that made sure my rights were as respected as those of the other tenants. He also made sure that I didn't enter into a master lease that would've made me vulnerable to shouldering unfair obligations. He provided several solutions in the form of legal wording and advice on the lease signing process. He was intelligent, easy to talk to, listened, and cared. I give my highest recommendation!

We used to despise auto injury attorneys and in two previous auto accidents with injuries we decided not to use an attorney. But when my granddaughter and I were hit from behind by a drunk driver we knew we would need professional support. But we were away from home visiting our daughter when the accident happened and didn't know an attorney in Austin. Fortunately, a friend of our daughter recommended David Todd.
Hiring David made the lengthy battle with the drunk driver's insurance companies and eventually with our own insurance company a much less difficult process. David carefully explained the legal process, our options and the issues we faced. He was there for us throughout that process, prepared all of the legal documents and advised us before the depositions. He fought for us like we were his own family and won us a substantial award.
David's success in our case means that both myself and my granddaughter will have certainty that future medical problems which may result from the accident will not cause us additional financial burdens.
We hope and pray that we will never need this type of professional assistance again, but if we do we would not hesitate to choose David Todd again.

I found David through the lawyer referral service here in Austin. After getting into a pretty serious car accident, which seemed obviously the fault of the other driver, I quickly learned how naive I was about these type of things.
David was very professional and helpful with all aspects of my case-from dealing with the other party's insurance to guiding me through the process of depositions and mediation.
