I don’t know where to start!!! As a father, my dream is to raise my children and help them to be better than I am. After consulting with many other law firms Lisa was the ONLY attorney that gave me the piece of mind that she would go full throttle in my defense. After getting not possession at all, thinking of the worse outcome possible for my daughter and me I went from no possession at all to the unexpected; I got half the time and child support. This attorney is a wonderful human being, very professional, efficient, smart and fair. For my own experience I can tell you that this woman is so great at what she does that she can achieve the impossible. Thanks to Lisa Adams the life of my daughter and my own can be better than what I thought it was going to be and my child can have her mother in her life and have a much better life than what at times I feared she was going to have (perhaps not being able to see her mother or see her every other weekend). I highly recommend Pete Reid. My son had a signed contract for a condominium and the seller reneged on the contract. Mr. Reid wrote a very thorough letter to the seller and I believe it was this letter that influenced her to proceed with the purchase of the contract. The entire time we dealt with Mr. Reid he was courteous, professional, and caring. He also explained things very thoroughly each step of the way. Two lawyers have since reviewed his letter, as well as the real estate company, and all were very impressed with his work.

Pete was referred to me by another attorney in Austin. Since then I have retained him on two occasions (both related to business litigation). Both times Pete helped me accomplish my goal with a minimum of frustration and stress. I highly recommend him.
I have been impressed by a few things about Pete:
He's very good at what he does. He's great at writing statements and filings, of course, but he's also great at understanding a case and seeing it from different perspectives. Both times I worked with him he pointed out things I hadn't considered.
He's also very friendly and engaging. For example, your phone calls with him are never stressful. Part of that is his great sense of humor. In fact, one of his responses to opposing counsel holds a permanent place in my personal hall of fame of "witty comebacks."
Another thing that really stands out about Pete is his candor. I've worked with a fair number of attorneys in the past. They generally refuse to give helpful answers to questions like "Can I do X?" or "What are the odds of Y?". Pete will give you a straight answer, like "The odds are probably 75%". That's tremendously valuable when you're trying to weigh your options and make the best choice.
If you need help with business arbitration or litigation, you're in very good hands with Pete.

I have known Mark since 2004 and since then I have hired him for everything from contract creation to incorporation to liability waivers and litigation, and he has always done an outstanding job. I've also referred many clients to him and every time he did top-notch work and made me look like a hero to my clients for referring him. As an operations consultant who worked for some law offices I had worked with a lot of corporate attorneys in the past, but since I started working with him Mark is the only attorney I have hired or recommended for corporate work.
Mark has that rare combination of being a brilliant lawyer who speaks plan English. He is able to understand and discuss the legal complexities of a situation at a high level, while still being able to explain complex legal situations in a way that is easily understandable to everyone involved, and I've seen him be comfortable and well received by everyone from corporate executives to blue collar sole proprietors.

I worked with Ms. Richardson on a traffic related matter through her employer, Dorothy Butler Law Firm. I was applying for an occupational driver's license and settling two open tickets which I had, and let me say that Ms. Richardson was very professional and extremely helpful in all aspects of my case. My primary means of communicating my issues was via e-mail, and I don't think that I ever had a letter go without a response. It was really refreshing to have somebody be as helpful over e-mail as Emily was.
My traffic tickets were for a city near Houston Texas, which quite a ways away from where I live in Dallas. As part of the fee I paid, the law firm and Ms. Richardson agreed to go to court in my stead, and I did in fact receive the judgement that I had been told up front I would receive - a very agreeable one! If you have any questions about the law, Dorothy Butler & Ms. Richardson provided an excellent channel of communication and were very knowledgeable about my particular situation and my case. The fee seemed well worth the expense.
In addition to two out-of-city traffic tickets, I had to apply for an occupational drivers license so I might drive at certain times of the day. The law firm provided me a document which I brought to a judge in Dallas, and everything went very smoothly. The judge seemed very appreciative that I had gone through the expense of paying an attorney to handle my case rather than trying to do it myself.
I would reccomend both Ms. Butler & Ms. Richardson for anything regarding the Texas DPS. Make sure you have a working e-mail account!

Mr. Glasser helped me navigate the purchase of my home from my landlord. We didn’t want to pay realtor fees but still needed legal assistance generating contract documents. Mr. Glasser is an incredibly knowledgeable and detail oriented attorney. I came to him with a problem that THREE other lawyers told me couldn’t be solved without a massive retainer. I was referred to Mr. Glasser after significant frustration by a family friend. I didn’t expect him to be much different from the others.
