As mentioned in the title, David is a real straight shooter. We obtained legal consultation from him and he didn't waste anyone's time in telling us our consultation was related to, but outside of his exact area of expertise. He explained to us that if we hired him he would need to familiarize himself with the subject matter, and that would require additional time on the case and therefore additional expenditure. He then recommended 2 attorneys who do practice in the subspecialty in question, offered a refund and upon being emailed 2 weeks later gave 2 more attorneys he recommended who could help. Some lawyers are dishonest, and do nothing more than pad their billable hours. I'd like to think that most lawyers have integrity and are honest. David however is a cut above the rest. His honesty, and candor are unparalleled by any other attorney I've ever worked with (which is a handful), and in hindsight I would have hired him on the spot 2 weeks ago, regardless of the additional money needed to bring him up to speed on the subject matter. David's level of integrity is hard to find in a profession which already prides itself and generally does pretty well in this trait.

Perhaps even more importantly, he was realistic with me upfront about what the process was going to be like, what outcomes I could expect and the ways he could help. Through a frustrating process of dealing with an irrational opposing party and unreasonable opposing counsel, David did an excellent job of moving my legal action forward to a successful conclusion. I recommend David in the strongest terms.

Extremely knowledgeable, great listener, finds several creative solutions. I was considering doing a sublease for a room in a house, and asked David to look over several lease/sublease documents for me. Not only did he save me from accidentally being responsible for rent on an entire house, he made several modifications to the sublease that made sure my rights were as respected as those of the other tenants. He also made sure that I didn't enter into a master lease that would've made me vulnerable to shouldering unfair obligations. He provided several solutions in the form of legal wording and advice on the lease signing process. He was intelligent, easy to talk to, listened, and cared. I give my highest recommendation!

We used to despise auto injury attorneys and in two previous auto accidents with injuries we decided not to use an attorney. But when my granddaughter and I were hit from behind by a drunk driver we knew we would need professional support. But we were away from home visiting our daughter when the accident happened and didn't know an attorney in Austin. Fortunately, a friend of our daughter recommended David Todd.
Hiring David made the lengthy battle with the drunk driver's insurance companies and eventually with our own insurance company a much less difficult process. David carefully explained the legal process, our options and the issues we faced. He was there for us throughout that process, prepared all of the legal documents and advised us before the depositions. He fought for us like we were his own family and won us a substantial award.
David's success in our case means that both myself and my granddaughter will have certainty that future medical problems which may result from the accident will not cause us additional financial burdens.
We hope and pray that we will never need this type of professional assistance again, but if we do we would not hesitate to choose David Todd again.

I found David through the lawyer referral service here in Austin. After getting into a pretty serious car accident, which seemed obviously the fault of the other driver, I quickly learned how naive I was about these type of things.
David was very professional and helpful with all aspects of my case-from dealing with the other party's insurance to guiding me through the process of depositions and mediation. He also kept cost in mind every step of the way and the final outcome was a settlement that far exceeded the initial offer from the insurance prior to my getting a lawyer who knew what he was doing.

I truly appreciate all the help Scott Morgan provided to me as my divorce attorney. The outcome of my case was very favorable for me, both from financial and children custody standpoint.
As much as his legal guidance was crucial, the psychological and moral support he gave me was also invaluable. During the divorce I was getting all kinds of different opinions from friends and family, and Scott was the person that let me stay strong on my course.

Most attorneys I've worked with in the past want to create custom agreements for every possible scenario. Jeremy has standard agreements on hand for common needs and tweaks them as necessary. In doing so, he may only spend 10-15 minutes on the phone with you, to talk through what needs to be tweaked. He also only bills for time actually spent. I have other attorneys that will drag their feet and try to keep me on for a full 30 or 60, when clearly the conversation has ended, then I get billed for it. Jeremy's billing transparency is almost unheard of. I'd recommend him 10 times out of 10 for any SaaS company.

Andrew Harris is an exceptional attorney. This is the second time I have had to go through a child support battle with my ex. The first time was very stressful and my ex’s attorney made it very difficult to be able to come to any sort of agreement or common ground; it makes me sick to even think about. With Andrew, it was not like this at all! Andrew is so personable, that it makes it easy to talk out everything with him. He did a great job at calming my anxiety and reassuring me. His ability to be so personable was a huge help when it came to negotiating with my ex and his attorney this time around. Andrew was able to get almost everything that I asked for; due to his overwhelming ability to control the negotiations, but he also , in a very personable and professional manner, was able to keep my ex in check when he tried to start arguments. What really impressed me about Andrew as well, is the great expectations he sets. He is not out for your money! He made sure that we were not doing anything unnecessary to help keep cost down. Andrew always got back to me in a timely manner, so I was never left wondering where my case stood or what was going on. He made sure to double check everything with me before doing anything, just to make sure that my wishes and wants were always being met. Child Support battles and custody battles are so hard, but Andrew was so great and made it easier than I ever could have imagined. I had the occasion to consult with Bruce regarding a real estate ownership issue as it related to a minority stockholder, and also an insurance question. I felt that Bruce was thorough in his research and knowledge of those subject matters, and gave advice consistent with what was in my best interest. I feel Bruce can be aggressive when he needs to be, but understands the compromise necessary in daily life. Bruce is an accomplished litigator, and was referred by another lawyer who felt Bruce was more qualified in the litigation area.
