Words simply don’t do enough to express my genuine gratitude for Young and her Teams support in handling my husbands immigration case. We first connected with Young about a year ago to adjust my husband’s status as he overstayed his visa. I found Young through my legal insurance offered by my job with MetLife, Young acted quickly once we contacted her office and shared our love story and its legal challenges of immigration. Young became enthralled with our story and was confident that she could help us adjust my husband’s status, and assist with all applicable applications. Young is an expert Immigration Attorney! She is extremely efficient and knowledgeable, and helped us tremendously with all the immigration procedures. We had some interesting bumps along the way, not the fault of our wonderful attorney, but by USCIS itself. Young stood right beside us, literally and figuratively to ensure we understood all legal matters and future proceedings. It was an emotionally exhausting case since we had a surprising second interview, with too many complexities involved to understand, but Young and her team, along with their strategic thinking and bold advocacy helped us achieve a favorable outcome. In the height of political turmoil, this process was simply draining, and I mean real tears at times. I work with Michael on a monthly basis. Originally, I hired Michael to represent me as a buyer at a real estate closing, but he has become my "go to" attorney for almost anything I need. I also refer many real estate clients to him as I am a real estate broker, and all of my clients sing his praises. Michael is an attorney you want on your side. 1) He is always available to talk, email or text. This is not very common amongst attorneys, especially real estate attorneys. 2) He is a problem-solver. Several times, he has come up with solutions to problems that no one else considered. 3) Michael is a man of integrity. Quite simply, I trust him and my clients do too. I recommend him without hesitation.

I had a medical malpractice complaint against a Dr who left me disabled. It was not a complication of the surgery. He damaged an area that he should not have been any where close to. The expert was weak and really didn’t look at all the facts. They lied to me about going to trial. They did not even get the injury correct. When I read the depositions I thought they were working for the physician. I wish I never had hired them. I haven’t been able to work since the injury and we spent a good portion of our savings on Dr bills. They dropped my case after 5 years and it’s been impossible to find a new lawyer. I’m now trying to get a job and no one wants to hire a nurse who’s disabled and has been out of work for seven years. Not only has this physician ruined my entire life but these lawyers didn’t know enough about nerve injuries to take the case. They also printed up a fake trial date on a court document and gave it to me to make me believe we were going to trial. Who does that?

As a small business owner that made a terrible honest mistake with IRS taxes, we were referred to Lane Marc Gensburg by our CPA .
After a short call and a reasonable retainer amount of 3k Lane started working on my case, getting information about our situation, we were positive we got the right guy! ABSOLUTELY NOT! This is the type of lawyer you need to stay away from, he transfer our case to Michael Gutting from his office, this guy was a total joke, he made us provide all the paperwork we provide Lane again, and of course he charge us for it again, this time the bill come back more than twice the retainer amount, we immediately called Lane , overwhelmed by the bill amount, Lane told us that the majority of the work was done and we should not get anything significant bills, but of course we did!!! Not only that the bills kept coming he also wasn't informed at all of our case progress, I remember we had a conference call between Michael, Lane and my business partner and he didn't have a clue on what's going on with our case.
Not only he was just a very expensive way to transfer all of our business financial information to the IRS agent, we end up worse then before we hired him, the tax agent was pissed and before his office start working on this case, the tax agent was willing to help us with payment plans and was going to recommend reducing the penalties, but that was not the case anymore.
At the end of the day if Lane was honest with us he should take our case as an adviser and get the CPA that freered us to him to provide the paperwork to the IRS.
Again we are a small business and almost 20k fees are not proportional.

I went to Mr. Clinton in distress when I was experiencing some issues at law school. Thankfully, I ended up just transferring to another law school and ultimately did not pursue my issues. I am still writing this review years later because I feel reviews can help people so much when selecting an attorney and my consultation with Mr. Clinton is one that really helped me to find peace.
Attorney Clinton came across as a very knowledgeable and helpful person. I have interacted with many attorneys as I am one myself and I can honestly say that very few were as kind as Mr. Clinton. Oftentimes, attorneys can be snippy, but he was not. He is honest about if he can help you or not. At the same time, he remains a very sympathetic person whether he can help you or not. Rest assured, you can tell him your about your possible case and all your problems with no judgment. I also like the types of cases he worked on. I felt they were very noble causes and this was the reason I called him to begin with when I was having the issues I was having.

JoAnne Bruzgal contacted me about a case at the last minute. I put in a lot of work for her and her client, including testifying in court as an expert. Her client stiffed me on payment and JoAnne has done nothing to help me collect the money that I am owed by her client. I will not be working with her again.

I worked with JoAnne regarding extensive damages to my condo due to negligence from the HOA. She was great to work with, super attentive, detailed and organized. We worked together for more than 2 years in order to settle with the board. In the end, she was able to negotiate a great deal that helped me extensively. I was trying to find help for my brother regarding a child support case. He had waited until the last minute and was completely unprepared for his court appearance, which was only a couple days away. I contacted the Chicago Bar and was referred to Joanne Bruzgul.
I was a little surprised when I actually reached someone on a Friday afternoon, and after explaining my situation to her Associate, I was told that Joanne would review the information, and I would get a call back if she was able to help. Amazingly, I got a call back that same day (after 5pm), and we spent a good half hour going over my brother's case.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get my brother to commit to using her services, but I was extremely grateful for the generous amount of time Joanne took to go through his options with me. Overall, I found Joanne to be professional, patient and very helpful.I was trying to find help for my brother regarding a child support case. Given that my dad’s passing was clearly linked to his disability, we realized we needed legal representation and turned to James Comerford.
From our first conversation, James took the time to listen, understand our situation, and guide us through the process. Initially, we thought we needed to file a rebuttal, but after investigating, he discovered the VA had actually misinformed us—the claim was still being processed. He assured us he would follow up, and shortly after, he called with the great news: the claim had been approved. I regret not going back to them. Instead, I tried another firm (and instead left kind of a nasty, albeit truthful comment on their Google review board.).

I swear if I can give 0 stars I would, this firm has been handling my case since 2023, and I dun had 3 different lawyers while dealing with my case WHY??? I don’t know they don’t communicate with their clients AT ALL and I’ve been lied to multiple times about my offer status. I will not recommend this firm to anyone ESPECIALLY due to their lack of communication with their attorneys. I’m looking for a good law firm to go through I am willing to start my process over at this point it’ll be worth it. And I will comment a review via google and Facebook until I see some results 💯
