When I was embarking on a divorce, I found myself in a challenging legal situation, feeling alone and residing in a country far away from my family. After two years of stagnant progress with my previous lawyer, I knew I needed a different approach. My lawyer recommended Jill Blomberg, and that decision turned out to be a game-changer. From the outset, Jill's strategy was brilliant. Switching to Jill's team marked a turning point in my case. She didn't hesitate to take charge, steering us away from a settlement path that wasn't working. Jill, along with Molly and Rachel, took immediate action when we filed. She refused to play the opposing lawyer's game and asserted control, effecting change within months. While she made some decisions that I didn't like at the time, I always ended up learning that it was the right decision. It's obviously her world and she knows what she's doing. I can't help but think that having her from the beginning would have expedited the process.
The significance of trust in your lawyer cannot be overstated, and Jill's team consistently earned mine. Their coordination was impeccable, responding promptly even on weekends, and the balance between Jill's assertiveness and Molly's calmness was effective. When she walked in the court she just had this confidence and presence. When my ex saw her, he hated it which made me love it even more. She taught him a lesson for sure.
It was clear she even had solid relationships with the other lawyers and court clerks, showcasing her stellar reputation at all levels. I even received a compliment one day when walking to my car from a random lawyer letting me know that I had an incredible lawyer, providing an additional level of reassurance. In hindsight, I would have chosen Jill from the start. Her team's expertise, coordination, and ability to instill confidence are unmatched. Going through a legal ordeal is never easy and while I know they were all doing their job, I felt that I had acquired a temporary family and what sometimes felt like a therapist who stood by me every step of the way.

I love Attorney Owen Eagen, I had a great experience. Unfortunately not so much with the staff. I had mistakenly lost a check that the office had given me during a closing. The check was part of the closing. On May 25th I went directly to the office and the front desk lady came to the screen and made me feel line a second class citizen. Than told me to walk to the side of the door while she open the door to talk with me. I understand covid and I work in a public place but again felt like a second class citizen. I understand everyone is careful. All I wanted was prompt service. If I had a closing I might have been treated better, I sent several emails and only one was returned. Not very nice. I work in banking and as a Branch Manager my customer whether right or wrong we always do our best to treat them with world class service. I am very disappointed, As much as I felt Attorney Eagen is professional and did a nice job on my closing. I feel his staff could have treated me a bit nicer.

Brenda Draghi was helpful in the closing of my home and very pleasant to speak with, but after I needed to hire her for an ongoing Real Estate Issue she cast me aside. I spoke with a staff member at her office and was assured she does this type of work, that she would be the one to hire! When speaking with Brenda, she agreed the law was on my side, but would not let me hire her for no known reason, which puzzled me. She gave me some very bad advice and sent me on my way without explanation, even ending the conversation with, "let me know how this all turns out for you!" I feel so defeated with the issue I am having, so Iwould not recommend her after that! She sure disappointed me!

This office was very much unprofessional when I first contacted them. They stated that they were able to help me. They spent 60 days trying to obtain video footage, which they never was able to obtain then they told me that they couldn’t take on my case because they don’t take accident cases when this case was due to a car accident, so there’s something going on and they’re protecting people that they shouldn’t or they genuinely did not want to help but they were very unprofessional about it and they spent four months before they told me that they weren’t able to take my case when I could’ve just found another lawyer four months ago.

Brian is terrific. Highly recommend. Only those with unreasonable expectations believe that simply getting a "paid" lawyer is the end all be all of judicial magic and that everything will come up roses. Sometimes you have to lay in the bed you've made, but I guarantee it will be a bit fluffier if you use Brian for your defense. If he can get you kicked loose he will. I appreciate all he helped me with.

Today Ronald Barba and Kristie Leff presented a Boot Camp for HOA Board Members. The information given was detailed without being overwhelming and essential for staying compliant with state statutes. Questions were entertained without judgment. Refreshments, a swag bag and a touch of humor went a long way to making the 4 house session, not only helpful, but also enjoyable. I hope BAB will provide the same session again and perhaps others of a more specific nature.

I also was taken advantage of by attorney Babbitt. She went through $5000 in 2 1/2 months couldn’t return phone calls. She would brief me 10 minutes before court had no clue if she was coming or going and absolutely was a total embarrassment. also after realizing that I could represent myself I asking for the $2000 worth of research that she did, so I could use it for the next court date….. she has not replied, or given me what I paid for. I even was hung up by one of her office workers when I asked for a time frame of when I would be contacted back by Miss Babbitt. That should’ve been my first sign to ask for a refund immediately. Her professionalism was terrible. So bad that I am contacting the Better Business Bureau steer clear. Also, two of her five star reviews are left by her employees. Lol.

I hired him on the request of my children for modification of custody. When the other party wouldn’t come to the table, it went to trial. Attorney Cartier was thorough in questioning myself to set the foundation of the case. When cross examining witnesses for the other party, he hung on every word and was able to use their testimony to support my case. I would highly recommend him for legal needs and will use him again in the future if ever a need arises

Robert m Elliot is a good lawyer. He helped me win my case but he is overly pricey. I should’ve listened to the review I read about him saying he was money hungry but unfortunately I did not. In my initial meeting with him he stated that cases he deals with are usually around $4k but in the end charged nearly $12k before the curtsey credit. When I tried to speak with him about the bill he told me there was nothing he could do about it and then said he was going to hang up in which he did. I will NEVER hire him again. Taking money from my child’s mouth doesn’t sit right with me.

We hired Lisa after our realtor recommended her... 2 months later and our home insurance and taxes were never paid by her office (we provided this money at closing) . As a result our home is no longer insured and we are in the process of shopping for new insurance and have interest that has been tacked on to our town property taxes. We would have been happy with the service if she at least followed through and reached out to us but she has done nothing... We really hope that we won't need to report her to the CT Bar Association as this is really suspicious behavior.

Kenneth represented us in a real estate transaction for a new construction in Fairfield County, Connecticut. We ended up not proceeding with the purchase partly due to our experience with Ken Gruder. Working with Mr. Gruder left us confused throughout the entire process. While he was reachable, his responses ranged from 1-3 words which included, "Yes" "No" and "Depends." His advice included waiting until we received certain documents and then once we received the documents, he failed to interpret the documents clearly or advise us on a clear path forward. This substandard work on the project did not stop him from sending us an $850 bill despite not completing the contract, price negotiations, or a title search. There were errors that we had to point out such as an update to the purchase price once the price was renegotiated. Terrible experience

We have used Ken’s services 25 times and recommend him and his firm at least 100 times since
2003. He is the most knowledgeable and protective attorney I have ever used. He is respected by the other side and his empathy towards his clients is very comforting. Every person I have recommended to Ken has thanked me.
I am in Real estate as a Landlord, broker and client.
He makes deals happen and enlightens less knowledgeable adversaries on the law. I have been a landlord for 40 years and wish I had met Ken sooner. What a combination, Ken is super knowledgeable, always returns your calls, very upbeat, and very fair in his pricing.

I gave them my case two days after my surgery. I got all my medical files I did all the running around for them to get everything they need reminder after my surgery. Now is 2 in a half year later which i was thinking the lawyer was doing his part i would check in often no respond. Now the Dr got alway with what they did. This office need to take people life more serious. I get money is everything to them but to me was the damage the Dr did to me and I pray they don’t do It to another women. Frank was not a good attorney at all. He did not represent my boyfriend properly. He completely screwed him with his sentencing and lied about what was said to the judge in court and did not contact us for over three months up until his final court date, he never answered and even blocked our number. He also did not make sure hi ls current jail credit was applied and leave us to try and scramble to tie up all these loose ends ourselves, it took forever for him to do anything. If you don’t want to do the work, don’t take the case. He begged him to move his sentencing up and he wouldn’t even do that. I do not recommend him at all. You should be ashamed of yourself playing with peoples lives this way.
