Attorney Stephen Sobin was efficient, personable, on point, knowledgeable about the matter, and very accessible. He wasted no time in coming to a very agreeable r solution. He is extremely bright and was able to provide his analysis in "plain language". Attorney Sobin was very easy to deal with and always returned my calls regarding questions in an expeditious manner.
After my first experience with Attorney Sobin, I again consulted with him on other unrelated matters (a probate matter and a professional work-related complex right of publicity type legal entertainment matter. He was able to deal with both without a problem. He's a very intelligent attorney who is quite competent in handling any and all questions I've posed -- even those which he typically would not be expected to be proficient in. The levels of difficulties varied in all of matters Attorney Sobin handled for me, and he dealt with them all in an efficient, successful manner. Attorney Sobin recently represented me on my motor vehicle accident case, and I have to say that his work ethic combined with his empathy was extraordinary. He treated me as if my case were the only one on his desk, which I know was the farthest thing from the truth. Attorney Sobin was always available to answer my many, many questions and never once made me feel bad about my inquisitive nature. He managed to seek out little details that I think even surprised the opposing attorney! At times I was unsure that I wanted to follow through due to the long process, but his confidence in my case kept me going. Ultimately, it paid off! Martha’s in-depth knowledge of environmental law and issues and her skills as a litigator saved our organization on several fronts. In conflicts with municipal and State agencies over environmental pollution claims, she was adroit in developing defenses that resolved those issues as well as forestalling future claims. She was equally adept in the court room, securing a solid win for us when litigants attempted to shut down our entire operation. I am one of the officers of the Metacon Gun Club in Simsbury, CT. Several years ago the club was subjected to an intense attack by some of our neighbors who used every avenue possible to shut us down, including lawsuits at both the state and federal level on environmental grounds. The club retained Martha to represent us and after a long and exasperating battle we prevailed in both cases and are still operating to this day. The suit in federal court was even appealed and we survived that also. Martha's firm was able to tie our case to a recently-won Supreme Court victory in the environmental field and the group that had won that case took the lead in defending our case also, which saved us a lot of money.
Without the services of a very knowledgeable and energetic attorney our club would surely have been shut down. We had to deal with local, state and federal agencies on matters of safety, design, operations, and environmental stewardship and Martha was invaluable in helping us navigate the difficult and sometimes exasperating path through all the requirements and regulations that are in effect these days. She was able to guide a bunch of laymen through a very difficult battle and kept us on the path to victory with grace and humor, which helped a lot.

We are owners of two properties that were once used as gas stations; we never owned or operated the stations. Both properties have/had environmental issues relative to the past uses. Martha Dean assisted us as we navigated the issues regarding our rights as innocent parties and our responsibilities under state and Federal regulations. I hired Beth to represent my college child for an on campus incident. She was forthright, professional, honest and compasssionate at every phase. Initially she was able to get charges reduced and guided us through every step with what was needed for the best defense. Beth got charges reduced, won accelerated rehab and after a period of time, all charges were dismissed. During a time where I didn't know what to do, Beth led us the whole way. My husband and I recently had some hardships and had to file for bankruptcy and foreclose on our home. Attorney Antonacci and his colleagues were there for us every step of the way. I tend to ask a lot of questions and second guess things, but everyone from the office was very informative, and they always answered any questions we had. I hired Jane to help me collect a large judgement that was awarded to me in GA for a construction job that went awry. The contractor would not pay me and lived in CT so I could not use my GA attorney. Jane was absolutely amazing. She was extremely patient when helping me understand my legal options. Attorney Minicozzi assisted me after my divorce when my ex-husband refused to comply with the divorce decree.
David was supportive and knowledgeable about how to proceed through this difficult experience. During the course of the case he had to file multiple contempt charges. Joe was a tremendous resource during my divorce. He listened intently during our initial consultation, and ultimately understood how to work WITH me. Throughout the process he was interested in how I wanted to handle and approach each step. He didn't hesitate to recommend alternate approaches to reach my end goals, but never overstepped. He understood that I was the one who had to live with the result.
Joe's legal knowledge and guidance was always spot on. He helped me fully understand the difference between my "wants" and what the law would allow. No Surprises. That was critical to managing my expectations, and helped me to better prepare for the next stage of my life.
Joe was GREAT at helping me manage the financial side of the process. He explained his costs and the billing process. No unnecessary phone calls, no unnecessary meetings. We spoke when we needed to, period. In the end, costs for the process were about 1/3 of my ex-wife's. Not because his rates were cheaper, but because he and I managed the process better.

I called Chas Abate late in the process in a deed-in-lieu where I was getting the run around from the mortgage company. What took me a year to get to a stale mate he quickly brought this to a final resolution. Not many attorneys would get involved this late in the process but he not only did but went to court the next day. Many thanks to Chas and I sleep much better at night thanks to him. I would highly recommend him and it was money well spent. I even received a refund for the money the mortgage company took from my account incorrectly 2 years prior that started the whole mess in the first place. His final invoice was detailed and extremely fair. If I had to do this all over again he would be the first person I would call. He has restored my faith in the legal system after getting the run around from the attorneys from the mortgage company. Thank you Chas you are truly a good person.

My case seemed simple at first. I believed I owned my condo and that it was in a Grantors Trust with my brother as Trustee. I wanted to do a reverse mortgage. Turned out we had to dissolve the Trust and that was was very complicated indeed. Amy was awesome. She was creative, persistent, pro-active and diligent throughout the course of the very long year it took for this extremely difficult transaction to take place. Represented my firm in a construction litigation matter a long time ago (1990's). Lost track of him as he went on to the real estate business.
We won a claim under CUTPA (Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act) and recovered from a breached contract and also received treble damages. His fees were actually paid by the losing party. Was a very aggressive litigator and was relentless in pounding on the other party. My business partner and I were extremely pleased with his respresentation and wish he was still in full time practice but he started some type of minority real estate agency and apparently travels the world setting up offices, etc. Although I am not sure he will take your case, if he does you will likely be very happy with his services.

Attorney Heering represented me in a real estate lawsuit regarding title. I was being evicted from my property based on adjoining land owners surveys. I hired him for advice and to buy me some time to leave the property.
