Stephen is by far the best real estate lawyer I have ever come across. I recently bought a house that took me more than 7 months to close. Just days before the scheduled initial closing, the bank took the property from the owner which meant the house was foreclose and was offered as a short sale. Stephen, stood by me knowing that I wanted the property. he encourage me, reached out to the other party's attorney to ensure the short sale process was sped up. At the end I got the key to the property with many thanks to the selfless help of Stephen. He is very indispensable and I was able to reach him at work, though his cell phone even at his home phone. This is my second dealing with Stephen, he help closed my first home which I sold in 2018 and now to my new home. I will highly recommend with Stephen.

We used Paul Kaplan's office to sell our house in New Haven. We had relocated across country before we had a chance to sell it, so we had to sell it remotely. Fortunately, we found some wonderful people to buy it and could do a for-sale-by-owner (FSBO) transaction, but we needed a capable seller's attorney's office to handle all the paperwork for us.
The entire transaction was as smooth as it could possibly be. Paul's office was very competent. We gave Paul a limited power-of-attorney to handle the transaction for us. Aside for a last minute scurry to find a notary public here (hint: use Yelp) here, there really weren't any problems at all. Anytime I had any questions at all, I knew that I could call Paul or toss him an e-mail and he'd call me right back.
After closing, Paul's office wired the balance of funds as soon as they settled the books (one business day!). Because of wire fraud, they were careful to make sure I was really me, and my bank account was really mine, which I appreciated.
Over all, I couldn't have been happier. Well, I could have been. I would have liked to have shaked the hands of Paul and his team for doing such a great job. What could have been a stressful situation (remotely selling a house) was instead a dream.
Now we have the funds to fix the fixer-upper we bought on the west coast!

I found Ed on this website and consulted with him about my outstanding debt that I couldn’t collect from one of my ex-tenants. I called twice because the first time I had to cut the call short because I was running to another meeting, he was available both times. Ed was very straight forward and told me his assessment of the situation. There was no sugar coating and upselling.
I felt that Ed was very honest and straight forward to the point. Sometimes you just need a legal expert to point you to the right direction without all the fluff.

Attorney Einhorn and his legal staff have been nothing less than stupendous in every effort.

I hired Conrad as my attorney for the sale of my home and the purchase of a new home. He did a great job in both instances however with the buying process he went more than above and beyond. I worked with what ended up being a very complicated and unorganized lender and Conrad and his team worked more than overtime to accommodate all their, at times, excessive requests. An example of the extra work put in by Conrad was going to the town hall after business hours in order to record the deed. I can honestly say I do not feel I would have been able to close on my house in the timeline I did if it were not for Conrad. My family was out of a home and we were in desperate need to close and be able to move into our new home and Conrad and his team work tirelessly to ensure we were able to close as quickly as possible. If I could give more than 5 stars I would and I wholeheartedly recommend Conrad as an attorney.

Richard Lamere served as our attorney during our recent home sale in Hamden, CT. The process turned very interesting when our buyers informed us several hours before the closing that they (quote) "didn't have the money". This led to a tense afternoon, during which we had no idea if we would in fact be able to sell (and thus be able to buy on our schedule closing date for our new house, four days later).
But he came through, dealing with the our buyers and their attorney in a way that made it clear that we weren't going to accept any last-minute maneuvers of this sort. The closing went through as scheduled, and a lot of the credit has to go to Richard and all the hard work he put in. Highly recommended.

Attorney Readyoff represented us in a LL/tenant matter (as property owners) and we are confident his careful and measured approach was crucial in the matter being resolved quickly and without complication.
I was angry about the issue we brought to him, and without judgement of my emotions, he suggested a solution that initially seemed very procedural to me, but we fully committed to his recommendation.
Once he started the process, things changed drastically with the tenant. In ways, it appeared very little happened, but it made all the difference: we regained possession of the property. He never personally contacted the tenant and reminded us not to engage them.
Such matters are never comfortable, but Dan's professionalism and graciousness toward everyone made things manageable. I really respect the way he handled this matter, and I appreciate the outcome.

Lillian Miller was recommended by a friend to do estate planning for me. She did a great job. She met with me and my two children, where we discussed our situation and our needs. She listened very well, and took the time to understand us. She asked many questions, so she could get a clearer picture of what I would like to accomplish and avoid in the event of my death or incapacitation.
She spent a great deal of time explaining to us what our options were, and what advantages or disadvantages there would be depending on the choices that were made.
She was prompt in returning phone calls or emails. Her fees were reasonable.

I retained Attorney Feldman for the negotiation and handling of the sale of our property in Hamden. Since I had already relocated overseas most of the transaction happened over phone, Skype and e-mail.
