When my husband passed away and I needed an attorney in CT, I was recommended to Attorney John Drapp. I thought it would be difficult because I live in Florida. Attorney Drapp was responsive, kept me well informed of the probate process, helped me by filling out forms that to me were not as easy to understand with all the law lingo. He not only helped me get my husbands estate through probate quickly and efficiently but also recommended another attorney I had to hire to get tenants out of the estate and recommended a realtor that helped sell the house within 3 days after we received approval! I am so grateful to Attorney John Drapp! He also addressed emails all times day and night so I always felt even though we didn’t meet, he had my back. This is an attorney who you can trust and was a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend him!

Ben helped us obtain Board of Zoning Exception for a duplex-to-triplex conversion. My real estate agent and permit consultant both cited him as the go-to lawyer in New Haven for this sort of work. What began as a tough decision to find representation at a very difficult time, turned into a huge relief that helped me to protect my family's interests and needs. Catherine and her amazing staff helped me every step of the way, from consultation to the final judgement. Catherine was there, at any time, to answer my questions, address my concerns and explain every step of this process. My children and I were put in a difficult situation and Catherine walked me through it. At various times when I was unsure of what was in the best interests of my family, she explained the possible outcomes in a way that made it understandable and that allowed me to make the right decision. Catherine always told it as it was and explained how the system works and how to help my family achieve what we needed. When I was pushing for certain goals, Catherine facilitated it. Even when I was not able to reach those goals, Catherine was a voice of reason and explained how to care for my family the best way possible given the situation. She fought for my behalf multiple times and constantly tried to reach a written agreement even very early in the process. Catherine and her incredible staff were constantly in communication with me about what was happening and what could develop in the process. Many times, Catherine cooled my emotions and reminded me of the big picture. After filing for divorce in the middle of last year we came to an agreement early this year, and I could not be any more pleased. Catherine's attention to detail in the final agreement has left me with a feeling of relief, knowing that my children and I are protected and in turn have a much more comfortable and safer environment.

Sometimes in this world we come across people who have no business being in their line of profession for one reason or another but Mr Albin is exactly where he should be, in a position to help those less fortunate. He didn't treat me as if I was beneath him but more so as an equal but above that, the level of compassion that this attorney has for people is unmatched, he truly cares about people. After hanging up with this office and finding out that solely due to my geographical location, I didn't qualify for their help, I received a phone call by the same number that I had just called, It was Mr Albin, he informed me that he would try to get special permission to help us tenants all being mass evicted from a local hotel, he didn't get that permission but he gave me his cell phone number and allowed me to call an text him whenever we needed and If I had any questions and of course I did. Mr Albin's help was invaluable and it meant the world to me. Attorney Albin wouldn't just tell me what to do or give me advice but would instead send me related case law which taught me a wealth of information, educating and mentoring me throughout our entire interaction and if he ever reads this, I'm sure he will let me know of any spelling or grammar issues lol. Tom is a very competent and thorough lawyer! He looked at my file and went about it in a completely different manner than I had my previous 2 attempts/denials.
