Kevin helped me with a residential construction contract issue that ultimately went sour, and fast. He quickly assessed the fact pattern surrounding my situation and was equally quick to identify all the issues and angles and formulate a strategy therefrom. He made most of the other attorneys we spoke to look like My Cousin Vinnie, but before Vinnie won his case.
Also, Kevin drafted an awesome complaint that garnered very high praise and compliments from at least 2 other attorneys who read it.
The best thing is to have Kevin review your real estate and construction contracts before you enter into them. Otherwise, and as our experience showed, it's better late than never.

Kevin helped me out with an issue regarding a Residential Building License for the State of Georgia. He gave me heads up on the many and varied issues that could come up regarding this license issue. Once i went to the meeting with the Board for Licensing issues in Macon i felt very prepared and at ease that I could handle whatever question might come up. Just in case an anomaly occurred which we had not thought of, Kevin, gave me his cell number and told me to call him immediately if I felt I needed him. The meeting went well and I did not need him. I think one of the main reasons why things went well is that I was pretty confident I could answer any question thrown at me. Kevin was an integral part of me having that confidence. I recommend him highly and will be using him again on some other things.

I have watched Kevin give great advice on several forums to people needing help with construction contracting disputes. He was able to give great advice to us on a forum and we were able to resolve the complaint with little expense.
Kevin is also an advocate for licensing for contractors in GA and helps protect consumers from unlicensed or unethical contractors.

I first met Mrs. Mason about 4 years ago when I was hurt in an automobile accident. I was out of work for almost two weeks and did not work during that time. My case didn't look too great after the state picked it up and wanted to prosecute as a felony. I knew it was time to find an acceptional Attourney with a winning attitude. Someone that doesn't like to lose just as much as me. I made the call. Mr. Hamilton's receptionist took down my information and within a short amount of time I was speaking to Paul about my case. He never made any promises or told me we would get it dismissed. He did listen to me and understood my position. I was told clearly what I could expect at worse.
The court date arrives. They gave an offer, which Mr. Hamilton politely declined. I left with intentions of trial.
3 hours later I received a call and he told me my case was dismissed and to come handle the paperwork.
With all of this being said, your attorney is only as good as your expectations. I would recommend Paul Hamilton to anyone seeking legal advice/council.

When I started looking for a lawyer, I knew exactly what I wanted and needed. What I wanted was a lawyer who had the knowledge to handle my situation and be willing to research all of the finer details. What I needed, and this is very important to me, was someone who I felt I could really trust and count on. Personality always matters to me. I need to feel a connection with a person in order to be able to have them be a part of my life.
In my effort to find an attorney, I spoke with quite a few. Although some of them represented themselves in a great way, I did not feel the connection that I was looking for. I simply needed more. Then a friend of mine told me about James Stuart Teague. They only had good things to say about him. So, I decided it was worth making yet another phone call. I left a message for Mr. Teague, and within 45 minuutes, he returned my call. I was pretty amazed by this, due to the fact that it was well past 5:00 p.m. I thought I would not get a call till the next day. Then, not only did he call me back after hours, but he stayed on the phone with me for well over an hour discussing my issues. Within the first fifteen minutes of our conversation, I knew that I had found my lawyer. His knowledge base was amazing, and he immediately made me feel less stressed about my situation. I knew that this was the person who I needed and wanted to be on my side. After our conversation, I felt that not only had I chosen the best lawyer to help me, but I had chosen a person that I would want to have as a friend. Again, that is very important to me.
Well, here I am six months later, writing this with a big smile on my face! I did make the right choice. James Stuart Teague is amazing. Any time you have to deal with an attorney, it is going to be stressful. However, he has made this whole process so much less stressful then I ever could have imagined. He has a calmness about him that really puts you at ease. He has researched all that has needed to be researched, and he always tells it like it is. Robert Kauffman has been our Bank's primary real estate attorney since our inception. He advises us on how to navigate the often complex world of Commercial Real Estate financing and protects us from the losses that can occur when documentation etc…is not handled appropriately. He always answers or returns his calls promptly and I deal with him directly rather than a paralegal like at many other firms. As a constant resource for legal advice, Mr. Kauffman is often requested to advise us on issues that might stray from his areas of expertise, but he is consistently able to assist either directly or by recommending someone.

Brandon came recommended to us. My daughter and son in law had paid a years rent in advance for their rental. Three months later, the landlord failed in living up the terms of the lease and was refusing to return any of the monies from the advance payment after presenting them with an eviction notice.
My daughter and I went to visit Brandon in his office to discuss the issue. He immediately agreed to take the case and discussed the options available. We did provide him all the documentation needed and he took over, keeping us updated throughout.

Angela blows away the stereotype of most family law attorneys. I was dealing with a very difficult family situation and she made the divorce as painless as possible. She is very compassionate and understanding but has the boldness to set you in your place when necessary. I will never forget at one point I got aggravated when she wasn't returning my phone calls right away. She scheduled a meeting with me and explained she was being considerate of the cost of returning a response every time I went into panic mode which was frequently. She then helped me calm my senses and work toward mediation instead of court. At mediation her skills really impressed me in her ability to pick out the "fine" print. At that point I realized what she was charging me was worth every penny and more.

Angela saved me. I was served with the family violence act, removed from my home, not to see or contact my child or ex until our court date. We had several court dates where she managed to get temporary orders instead of final orders. Giving me time to sober up, being that getting my ex was trying for full custody on the grounds of alcoholism. She suggested a guardian ad lietem ,and that helped my case tremendously. o even got a DUI during the times of the temporary orders and she still succeeded in getting one more continuance in the in she prevailed and I got my child back in my life. I was asking for joint custody, and I got that plus child support. Angela was very professional and compassionate.
