I worked with Mr. McGovern when my wife and I were about to purchase a home. Our condominium association has old and outdated bylaws with legal language that is difficult to read, and we felt that they could cause us problems were we to try to conduct a renovation project. Mr. McGovern was able to translate these documents in a way that gave us a better understanding of our rights as homeowners, and allowed us to proceed with confidence in our desired improvements. We very much felt that he was on our side throughout the entire process, and his easygoing manner set my wife and I at ease. We reached out to Andrea as homeowners who had been sold a "luxury" home which was not finished in a luxury fashion. Many short cuts taken by our builder (we bought the house in almost finished condition) and his subs and less than 1-2 years into ownership we had issues with our cement fiber siding and other areas. Once we reviewed the details of our situation with her, she felt we had a solid case and offered to represent us. We proceeded based upon her conviction that we could win. Fast forward a year plus later and we ended up mediating and settling, which we were happy about as we recouped a good portion of our out-of-pocket cost to do the renovations we discovered we would have to do. Attorney Rittershaus is not only a rare find, but also a delight to work with. I first hired him in 2015, after I exhausted myself with the search for an attorney. When I first met him, I was overwhelmed by his warmth and graciousness, and after that with his dedication to my case, his skillfulness, understanding, and going more than an extra mile for me. Attorney and guardian Angel is golden combination, particularly when it comes to settlements that are not respected by one party. I trusted my ex-husband when it came to a divorce and went to a mediator with him. Hoooowever Ex-husbands with a new wife can have a tendency to not respect alimony settlement, that are done through only a mediator. That is particularly so, if they have their own company and can maneuver money around. Ethan produced exactly the result I wished for, even though the case ended up more difficult than originally expected, and my ex had hired an attorney who had far more years of experience than Attorney Rittershaus. My particular wish was to have the case conducted with love and respect. That was the main reason I was not able to hire another attorney. Well, I got all that I wished for and even more.
I hired attorney Rittershaus again recently, and he surprised me even more. I was not in the US and needed Documents in Germany, and I needed them fast. He did the impossible and in the most speedy manner. I also needed a letter stating a certain Law in the US. Attorney Rittershaus composed that letter with elegance, and in a most excellent manner. The letter was written as if he is both an American and a German Attorney. He provided even references in the German Law system, that corresponded to my Case! What was even more surprising, was the speedy manner in which the Documents arrived in spite of all the obstacles that the outbreak of Covit 19 brought about.
Now I am hiring again, for yet another case, and so very appreciative to have him as my attorney again.
I know the praise I sing for Attorney Rittershaus may be hard to believe. However, once you meet him in Person, you will see that I have hardly praised attorney Rittershaus Enough!

Over the course of one weekend, I suddenly found both of my elderly parents in the hospital. One of them would need to move into a nursing home almost immediately as the other recovered. Only, I had no clue how to even begin this process. An event like this is emotionally draining, and now, needing to quickly find a nursing home on top of this, was overwhelming. The nursing homes are ready to take patients, eager for them. Bring them on, private pay! Only going to cost you thousands of dollars a month. Easy.
When I called Spencer Ghazey-Bates, this is where I was, completely lost and overwhelmed, prepared for my parents to lose a lifetime of gathered assets within the year. After getting off the phone, this all changed.
I had a plan of action. I had reassurances from an expert that has done this time and time again for other families. An overall plan was made, steps were given, one at a time, so as not to be overwhelming. I finally could feel like I knew what to do and could start sorting our lives out again while the paperwork was being taken care of by professionals.
The nursing home's billing departments are experts at working for themselves. Without professional legal representation, I felt defenseless from their statements and bills. With Spencer, you have an export that works FOR YOU.
Over the months of this process, we gracefully landed with my parent in a good nursing home and my parent’s assets intact. I was let go from a previous job in a rather messy fashion. So messy, that many lawyers weren't even interested in the case. When the mess extended and overturned my unemployment benefits, the lawyer I had previously hired stopped representing me. With the deadline to appeal looming within only a week, I was at the end of my rope. Then, I was put in touch with Jeffrey Varszegi.

Gary Zerola is by far the most knowledgeable, skilled and resourceful attorney I have encountered. Early on in my adult life I got in trouble and used court appointed lawyers or cheap inexperienced lawyers because I didn't know any better and had no money. Since then I haven't gotten into as much trouble but after some nights of drinking and bad decisions, I again needed a lawyer and a firefighter friend recommended Gary. I've used him that time and on multiple occasions since and without hesitation I would again. Once you meet him, you will realize that he truly cares about you and resolving whatever trouble you may have gotten yourself into. With no judgment either. He's just a compassionate guy. He explained everything to me in a way I could understand and made himself available for any questions or concerns I had 24/7, even giving me his personal cell number. I am so happy that I made the right choice in having Gary Zerola represent me, he got me more than one dismissal. I was facing very serious charges involving weapons as well as breaking and entry. I was facing very serious time for this. I had just gotten out of the Marines, and going through college and I knew this could ruin my future. I called a few offices, and Gary Zerola significantly stood out. I left him a voicemail, and he personally got back to me almost immediately. I was a completely wreck when I spoke to him, but after my initial consultation Mr.Zerola made me feel at ease and I knew something could be done. I wanted to fight this all the way, since the charges were completely false. He kept me in contact at all times with email or phone. He was very transparent with everything that was going on, and he was always just a phone call away. I had a few options on how to proceed, and I made the decision to take it to trial in front of a judge. Mr. Zerola did an excellent job with the case and proved that there was no case at all. My charges were completely dropped – no probation, not “dismissed”, the verdict was- NOT GUILTY. He was absolutely worth the investment, and thanks to him I was able to graduate college and get a great job instead of spending time in jail for false allegations.

Estate planning is a difficult topic, as an Accountant, I knew what my Mom should have to protect her assets but getting my Mom to agree was a totally different thing. Attorney Click recently represented our large extended family in a case where a prominent attorney attempted a land taking by claiming adverse possession. When we approached David, he was extremely busy but agreed to represent us in a timely manner that was needed to answer the complaint. Prior to contacting David we had spoken with other lawyers who were reluctant to go up against this particular well known law firm. David does not shy away from difficult. He knows the laws and is able to articulate his thoughts in a concise manner. He was very professional and nice to work with, and listened to any input that we wanted to contribute. He offered to travel to meet with the multiple people involved as most did not live nearby. The case reached a settlement agreeable to all defendants as well as the plaintiff having to pay all of our attorney fees. We highly recommend David as an attorney.

A commercial customer canceled my contract and refused to pay the outstanding invoice, a five figure sum. David took on my case after direct appeals failed to product any results.
David is a careful, detailed listener and assembled a fairly complete picture of the situation by the end of our first phone call. Subsequently, he spoke with other involved parties, prepared the necessary affidavits, and filed suit in Norfolk Superior Court.
His preparation is very thorough, exploring multiple avenues of enforcing the payment of my invoices. Ultimately, he presented my case in Superior Court with clarity and force. When the judge compliments your attorney on his presentation, you know you've picked a winner.
After the first day in court, opposing counsel promptly advised his client to move to a settlement. I was reimbursed nearly 100% of the outstanding debt.
While I would prefer not to go through any of this again, David would absolutely be my first call. He is top notch, well prepared, and knowledgeable regarding the intricacies of the legal system and its exacting requirements. -- Highly recommended.

I changed lawyers when I decided to go with Stephanie Perini-Hegarty. After seeing how well she explained things when I attended a conference that she spoke at, I felt I needed to have the CEO of my company meet her. I thought that it would be a hardsell to get him to change from having his attorney who was already in place and use Stephanie . However, I thought that it would be worth the try given that she has a natural act for making things that are complicated, simple for clients to understand, as opposed to how confused I felt when the previous attorney explained things and that is if the previous attorney was available. My CEO and my entire U.S. team met with Stephainie and I have to say that it was her competence along with her patience and fairness in compensation that grounded our decision to hire her for our international company. Last year I was injured while shopping in a larger department store. I felt hopeless and had no idea where to turn for help. My medical bills were adding up, and i had limited use of my right hand due to the injury. Attorney Dardeno provided legal assistance for the sale and purchase of our homes. He found that the home we wanted to purchase in SOMERVILLE had a fence placed in the middle of two properties that were previously owned by two brothers but the land was never sold or transferred so the land we would have been paying taxes on would be legally owned by the abutting neighbor as the city records were never changed and it would have been a nightmare for us. We bought a different house. Thank God he had the search done back over 50 years. Not sure I explained this correctly but I'm sure you understand.
