I really can’t say enough positive things about Sarah Ocampo and Nicki Beard! They helped me navigate the really weird world of probate after I lost my parents. Turns out, wrong information was given years ago, and they guided me every step of the way. No question was ridiculous and any setbacks (mine or generated by others) they treated as important and and fought to fix them, even when confronted with stupidity and dumb laws. We got into a car accident and the person that hit us tried to blame the third driver who left the scene and the cops reported that it wasn’t her fault even after she tried to leave as well but her car was to damaged to make it past the next light. “In 2019 I was seriously injured in a car accident where I was rear ended in Carson City by a commercial truck. And the other driver’s insurance company did not call us back. So, I hired Sullivan Law to help. Wow, did they! The insurance company for the truck kept delaying and stalling and making excuses until we had enough of their games and Mr. Sullivan took them to court. In the fall of 2022, I felt like I was almost over the first accident when I suffered a second rear end collision - again in Carson City! It was so emotionally upsetting and painful. We engaged Sullivan Law to help again. Sullivan Law persevered and enlisted the help of Bradley Drendel & Jeanney in Reno for both cases. The insurance company on the 2019 case continued to stall. The 2019 case got set for trial in 2023 and with that pressure on, Joe Bradley and J. D. Sullivan and their great staffs worked hard together and got the 2019 case settled for me at the second mediation. Lisa and Amanda were great. What a relief! Even then, the insurance company delayed sending the settlement check, as agreed, and my attorneys had to threaten to get a court order forcing payment. Finally, after added delay, the insurance paid. And then, in late summer of 2023, we settled the 2022 case for the full insurance policy limits. Sullivan Law fought these legal battles for me every step of the way, even bringing in reinforcements with Bradley Drendel & Jeanney. And the attorneys were able to get a steep discount of my medical bills which really helped settle these two complex and intertwined cases. Such a stressful 4 years but things finally came to a closure. Garrett Sutton is the reason I can't make lawyer jokes anymore. He is trustworthy, smart, and ethical. Not much room for jokes there. He has helped me incorporate two businesses, written articles for magazines I've edited, and helped me form my publishing company, Lucky Bat Books. He has been there with patient answers for my most ridiculous questions and has always made me feel as if this business stuff is something I can handle. He not only formed my corporation, he guided me through writing contracts and establishing billing regimen, and even recommended someone to do my taxes. I would trust him with any legal matter.
Garrett's kindness is well known in my community and is a major reason I originally sought him out. I interviewed him for a story on autism because of his charity work with Sierra Kids Foundation, which provides money for treatment of autism for families who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford it. I'm glad I did. As a writer and publisher himself, he has given me so much useful advice he ought to write a book. In fact, he has. Several. I've read them all.

I was referred to Chris to help with a business dispute between partners in a company where it was clear the partnership would be ended.
Chris was extremely helpful from the start. He assisted in developing the strategy to achieve our goal of ending the partnership and distribute the assets, but as in most cases like this emotions were running high and logic was not at the forefront of people's minds. Bud and his firm made our acquisition process the best it could be. It was apparent that he‘s done a ton of asset purchase agreements. At our initial consultation, we talked about what I wanted to see in the agreement and Bud suggested changes that would protect us as individuals and shareholders.
As we exchanged drafts with the buyer’s counsel, Bud caught several mistakes and regressions. He was on time and prepared for every call and meeting we had. Any time we met in person, copies of the agreements were on the conference table when we walked in, marked up and flagged with the items we were there to talk about. If you are ever in need of a personal injury attorney you cannot make a better choice than securing the services of Maxwell & Maxwell for your representation in your personal injury matter. I was injured in a Las Vegas casino. The casino denied all responsibility and concealed video coverage of my incident.

My husband and I retained Judd Balmer for our multi faceted case, which had multiple defendants, many layers, and many failures from various “professionals” to include realtors, pest control company, mold remediators, and the original owners of the home we purchased. Before I relate the excellent legal representation in a Civil/DV matter I was provided by Mr. Ellis, I think it is important that I first say that aside from the legal issues, I have not met an attorney who so genuinely listened and understood my predicament. As if it was he himself who was facing the legal challenges I presented to him, with all the emergency and dire consequences at his door.
The otherside had an attorney. I thought I could represent myself, my case facts and rights were clear cut, then I found myself in front of a judge who clearly allowed WIDE discretion to the oppossing counsel, I was about to get steam rolled not by the facts but by legal precedures. I was granted a 2 day continuance by the judge, barely. Mr. Ellis despite having been hired with only 2 days time to prepare for my case, successfully represented me in court and rescued me from my lack of knowledge about how the system and the the courts can be not the easyest of places to navigate by oneself. I was recommended by a friend of mine to Ryan earlier this year. I set up a consultation, discussed my business issues with him, and got a quote. He was very friendly, expressed his knowledge about my issues, and really knew what he was talking about. The meeting was great and i didnt feel pressured at all, like some of the other attorneys I visited with. Aer meeting with him, I did some research, called around, and found that he was a reputable attorney and respected by his colleagues.
I decided to hire Mr. Ellis. He walked. Me through the retainer agreement, took all of the documents I had with me and made copies, and asked me a few other questions regarding issues he brought up (that I didn't even I know I needed to talk about). He told me he would begin immediately and I left the office with a smile on my face.
I received an email from Mr. Ellis the next day with a copy of a letter he sent to the people who owed me money. Later that week, I got a call from Mr. Ellis to notify me that my case was settled and and I could either pick up the money I was owed or he could mail a check to me.
I have been trying to collect this money owed to me for so long, and it took Ryan around a week. He was always very professional and courteous to me, carried out all of his promises.
If any of you out there are looking for an attorney, I highly recommend Mr. Ryan Ellis. He is very knowledgeable, and if I ever need another attorney, I will absolutely be hiring Mr. Ellis again.
