Dustin Shamburg is an exceedingly hardworking, responsive, and kind man. I contacted his office after receiving a DUI, I was completely overwhelmed by the entire situation and felt completely paralyzed as what to do or what would happen from here. This was my first time ever needing legal counsel.
I knew within a few minutes of our talking that it only made sense to hire this firm. It became obvious that he has an immense amount of knowledge and experience in this arena and I'm so glad I engaged with this firm. When my mother, who lives in California, was sued by a major bank as a guarantor, we initially hired a local Utah attorney since the litigation was filed in Utah. Unfortunately, it became clear that this first attorney was not competent. That’s when we brought in Marianne Dawson-Man, Esq., to assistwith litigation strategy, settlement efforts, and oversight. Marianne quickly identified the gaps in the first attorney’s work and advised us through the process of replacing him with new local counsel.
Since the case was in Utah, we had to engage additional Utah attorneys to manage court filings, procedural compliance, and appearances. Unfortunately, the second Utah attorney we hired proved to be both ineffective and unresponsive, missing key moments and failing to stay on top of important emails and documents. To keep the case on track, we brought in two more Utah attorneys, but they focused more on administrative tasks. Marianne had to guide them to engage strategically with opposing counsel, as they often deferred to the bank’s demands without pushback.
Throughout the process, Marianne provided the litigation strategy and direction that had been missing from the case. Some attorneys discouraged us from pursuing an indemnification agreement—worrying it could complicate negotiations or trigger third-party involvement—but Marianne recognized how essential it was to protect my mother’s interests. She remained persistent and insisted on safeguards to minimize my mother’s liability and ensure her assets were protected.
Marianne also managed aggressive opposing counsel from the bank, along with a third party's legal counsels that aligned with the bank’s efforts to shift the full burden of liability onto my mother. Thanks to her strategic persistence and leadership, we secured a favorable settlement that included an indemnification agreement—a key protection that other attorneys had advised against pursuing.
Not all attorneys are the same. Marianne provided the leadership, strategy, and advocacy we needed to overcome complex challenges and secure the best outcome possible. Without her involvement, I am certain we would not have achieved this result. I highly recommend Marianne Dawson-Man to anyone seeking an attorney who can lead complex cases, anticipate challenges, and deliver real results.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Richard from our first zoom call to our follow up visit signing our trust documents. He did not rush us and he spent a considerable amount of time answering questions about things we needed to know about our parents trust as well as the one he had written for us. Wow, anyone need divorce attorney? Checkout Richard Sullivan.
My spouse and attorney was doing everything possible to delay and obstruct the divorce process.
After 3 years and trying couple attorneys, I found Mr Sullivan. He was the only one who got my case moving forward and to the end
I noticed that some attorneys are just pushing papers, which is great for an easy-going divorce. However, reaching a settlement it’s always within your control. And I play that no one has to go through what I have.
But if you have, or just want to avoid it, give Sullivan Law and associates a call. They continued to negotiate up to the last day, to avoid a trial and settle out of court. But Richard Sullivan is a trial attorney and sometimes you need a trial attorney to avoid a trial.

Stephen Hammers was a referral from another lawyer who could not represent my case, and I approached hiring Steve with some anxiety because I had always applied the skills of the referring lawyer over the past many years. I had no previous knowledge of Steve's work, and hoped that this referral was a solid recommendation. My matter was involved, and the case appeared to be risky. In fact, the referring lawyer (my long time friend) advised me that I stood little chance of prevailing. All that I knew was that I was in the right, and that a good lawyer might be able to prevail. Steve was cautious about giving me any hope at first, but he could see clear pathways to defeating the defendants. He applied his boundless energy to the intellect and resourcefulness that has made him such a superstar in Orange County, and we worked together in an efficient yet highly effective manner to hone the case. His persistence along certain lines of advice that at times were lost on me became invaluable to the direction that the case took, and we developed a momentum that was itself very effective for our success. While we spent time and effort on certain details, Steve never appeared to delay nor overstudy any point. At no time did I ever have the slightest doubt that he had my best interests as his own, and that he was keeping the billing as low as practicable without creating any new difficulties. He predicted a wide variety of events which all came to pass as he described, and portrayed undesirable outcomes that we avoided altogether largely because of how well he articulated their potential negative impacts to me. We reside in New Jersey and had an issue with a California rehabilitation facility that refused to appropriately refund to us a large amount of money. Although the facility was horrible, we did not want to get into a lawsuit with them, we just wanted our refund. Mr. Hammers listened to our situation, acted quickly and appropriately on our behalf, and resolved the matter just as we had hoped. We found he and his staff a pleasure to work with, always responding to our inquiries and asking our opinions on how we wished to proceed. We believe that Mr. Hammers' excellent reputation was why our situation was settled quickly, the opposing counsel simply did not want to battle him in court. The attorney fees charged were explained to us up front, and the fees were fair and accurate. We knew nothing about attorneys in California. Stephen G. "We highly recommend that you speak with David L. Crockett before choosing an attorney for any estate or other legal matter.
The trust property we had to deal with had not been maintained and had fallen into severe disrepair. Everything from plumbing to electricity to the building exterior and plant overgrowth was on the list. We worked long hours trying to sort and clear years of clutter and accumulation, make repairs, keep up taxes utilities etc. We kept the records we thought were needed and useful in developing a plan for progress.
“Time went fast, and progress went slow.”
Our struggles dealing with the trust were steadily moving beyond our abilities to resolve; we realized that we definitely needed help. Also we ourselves, as time passed, were contributing to our need for resolution.

If I could give negative stars, I would. While it may sound cliché, it is absolutely true in this case. If you are considering hiring Ilona, please take a step I regret not taking: ask around about her reputation at various firms. Doing so could save you hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Ilona took 5-6 months to draft a Marital Settlement Agreement (MSA) based on mediation outcomes, a task that should have taken just a few days. This delay resulted in costs of $50,000 to $60,000 for a poorly executed MSA. This amount does not even cover the majority of her work, which was far from satisfactory.
It’s important to know that there are remedies if you find yourself in a situation with an attorney who appears to intentionally botch work for future financial gain. This experience ranks among the top five worst mistakes I've made in 44 years. I cannot stress enough the importance of asking around before hiring.
Additionally, when I requested her to correct her mistakes, she demanded more money to do so. What other service demands additional payment to fix their own intentional errors? It’s incomprehensible.
Also she uses tactics to fool people with multiple google review pages to spam
Out the bad reviews with 5 star reviews with someone with 1-2 reviews and one happens to be for her. Such deceptive behavior

I was represented by Ray & Bishop. I almost lost everything especially 6 years of nursing school during this time my father had a TIA, car repossessed and I was without work and couldn’t pay my bills. I was searching for a licensed defense attorney in California that specialized specifically in defending nurses against accusations from BVNPT/BRN and came across Ray & Bishop, PLC through a google search. I read reviews that former clients have posted about their representation and also looked up their webpage online. I decided to take a leap of faith after reviewing their reviews, website, and blog and seeing the successful comments and how satisfied clients who were represented by Ray & Bishop, PLC. were. I was dealing with a criminal matter that was dismissed but later was picked up by BVNPT and was sent an accusation that my license was being investigated and that they wanted to discipline me based on these allegations. The process from when the incident occurred to posting an accusation was approximately 5 years. Long story short, I was assigned to Mr. John Bishop regarding my matter with the boards and he was attentive, knowledgeable, matter of fact, understanding, straight forward, and responsive in answering my never ending questions and concerns. He was genuinely concerned and was available via email and by phone. Even though he was busy he would return my emails/calls promptly. Luckily, my case did not have to go through an administrative hearing and after 5 months I received the most wonderful news I could have ever asked for “accusation withdrawn”
Words can’t express how grateful and relieved I am that this nightmare was finally resolved and I can finally move on. I can’t thank Mr. Bishop enough for his representation and how successful he was with his communication with BVNPT and ultimately avoiding any discipline against my license and not having to attend a hearing.

I received a discipline in another state and California immediately followed suit. During trial, I did my best in answering the prosecutor’s questions. John would then ask me questions that further clarified my answers so that my answers could not be misinterpreted. I truly appreciate John. I initially consulted with Devin because my wife and I were entering into a "for sale by owner" plus "seller carryback loan" home purchase, using the seller's drafted loan contract. Although we ended up contracting with Devin to handle the sale and loan paperwork for due diligence and to help negotiate with the seller's less than cooperative attorney, I could not have been happier with the whole experience of using Devin and his team. The seller's loan paperwork was inconsistent with California law, and one-sided to the seller's advantage. Devin was immediately able to spot red flags and holes in the loan contract. He re-negotiated the loan to a fair and proper standard. He and his team also helped us with our prop. 19 paperwork after the sale. He and his staff really cared about us.

If I could give negative stars, I would. While it may sound cliché, it is absolutely true in this case. If you are considering hiring Ilona, please take a step I regret not taking: ask around about her reputation at various firms. Doing so could save you hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Ilona took 5-6 months to draft a Marital Settlement Agreement (MSA) based on mediation outcomes, a task that should have taken just a few days. This delay resulted in costs of $50,000 to $60,000 for a poorly executed MSA. This amount does not even cover the majority of her work, which was far from satisfactory.
It’s important to know that there are remedies if you find yourself in a situation with an attorney who appears to intentionally botch work for future financial gain. I just wanted to profusely thank Steve Fink for helping my client through a very sticky real estate situation!!! He is amazing & I highly recommend him :)
Last week, I had a seller deny an inspector access to his property, which caused my buyer to be late on her closing. The seller threatened to cancel the escrow and keep the buyer's deposit, while he knew the reason we could not close was because the inspector was not allowed back in.
I called CAR legal, and was beyond disappointed when they told me there was nothing that could be done past day 17 to force a seller allow additional inspections, even if they were follow up. Seriously??? Nothing??!! In desperation I went to Steve because I knew this was not fair, he has dealt with thousands of contracts, and he would have an angle. Within hours, Steve had a letter beautifully written and emailed to the stubborn seller. The next day the seller let the inspector in (it was over an FHA loan requirement for smoke detectors in every bedroom of all things!) and the buyer was able to get her loan funded.
I gave her the keys today, and this is all thanks to Steve's knowledge and quick action to help a deserving person in need. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!

Bob was referred to me by a dear trusted friend. I purchased a commercial property in 2013 along with 3 other individuals. Those 3 individuals were related to each other, not to me. 3 years later 2 of the 3 individuals approached me about selling my interest to them for $30,000. We had each invested $25,000. I declined their offers. Little did I know my 3 partners had already consulted with realtors, it turned out the property had over a half a million dollars in equity on an initial $100,000 joint investment. I found out months later the property was in escrow and I was never consulted or advised of the sale. These two brothers and their father intended to keep my initial investment and my more than $100,000 profit. You see one of the brothers is an attorney who thinks he is always the smartest guy in the room. It turns out that "Dim Bulb" attorney was no match for Bob Bright. Bob's last name is an incredible accurate adjective for who he is. Bob had 4 business days to effectively secure a temporary restraining order on escrow from the civil court. Escrow closed as scheduled all of the liens and third parties were satisfied and over a half a million dollars remained in the possession of the court. Litigation went on for an entire year. Bob was 10 steps ahead of my conspiring ex-partners at every stage. Bob's research on case law was amazing. My ex-partner, the attorney, was completely out matched. Bob ultimately negotiated a settlement prior to trial. I am not allowed to disclose the terms of the settlement. What I can disclose is that after Bob's fees were paid, my proceeds were far beyond what I would have received had my partners included me in the sale proceedings and not tried to abscond my investment and profit. The bad news is that my ex-partner the attorney will get to keep his law license for now. Bob Bright is beyond honest and he is always accessible.
