This review is for partner (formerly associate) Michael Jones. I have had the opportunity to work with him on a few legal issues I experienced and to know him as a colleague. Since I am grateful for his help, I am leaving this review to show support for his business.
As an attorney, I would say he is a true believer in the highest form of justice, one who genuinely cares about helping people navigate challenging legal situations, big and small. He was willing to help me with issues that other firms didn't consider worthwhile. I would recommend him as an attorney and I would also say that we need more people like this in the profession.

If I could give negative stars, I would. While it may sound cliché, it is absolutely true in this case. If you are considering hiring Ilona, please take a step I regret not taking: ask around about her reputation at various firms. Doing so could save you hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Ilona took 5-6 months to draft a Marital Settlement Agreement (MSA) based on mediation outcomes, a task that should have taken just a few days. This delay resulted in costs of $50,000 to $60,000 for a poorly executed MSA. This amount does not even cover the majority of her work, which was far from satisfactory.
It’s important to know that there are remedies if you find yourself in a situation with an attorney who appears to intentionally botch work for future financial gain. This experience ranks among the top five worst mistakes I've made in 44 years. I cannot stress enough the importance of asking around before hiring.
Additionally, when I requested her to correct her mistakes, she demanded more money to do so. What other service demands additional payment to fix their own intentional errors? It’s incomprehensible.
Also she uses tactics to fool people with multiple google review pages to spam
Out the bad reviews with 5 star reviews with someone with 1-2 reviews and one happens to be for her. Such deceptive behavior

I can’t thank this man enough! I’ve had terrible experiences with lawyers and law enforcement but Randy is different . He makes you feel so comfortable has no judgment for any of your wrong doings. He is a great lawyer for complicated cases that have multiple moving parts . He is a good lawyer for anyone. Take his direction and advise he doesn’t tell you what you wanna hear but he tells you what you need to hear. He gives you his game plan and educates you on your own case. He’s open to listening and considers your opinion and any facts you think are important . I felt he took a real genuine interest in my case and the passion showed at trial . He’s vicious in the court room and really keeps jurors interested.
His office is beautiful clean well organized and Chris is the man in the bat cave handling all the affairs while Randy is in court winning cases ! Chris is super professional , relatable, organized and patient ! He stayed on the phone as long as I needed and always called back as agreed.
It’s true Randy Collins is the best lawyer in Orange County! He has earned his 5 start 1 case at a time, he can beat Goliath ! Forever grateful

My previous experience with lawyers was really bad but Randy really came through for me and my family . The case was a shitshow to say the least I had a lawyer refer to the case as “some Jerry springer stuff” there was mountains of documents and evidence from my end and multiple solid witnesses against me . Randy filtered through my evidence and was able to focus me on what was really important and removed all the non factors I was fixated on proving . He and Chris condensed my evidence and helped me truly understand the concepts of my case And how it would be presented to a jury .
He’s not scared to call out dirty cops , bad investigators, or poor conduct from law enforcement.
The trial was nerve wracking for me but he remained cool collected and focused throughout. He was very verbal with objections when needed and he questioned people in a way that had them frazzled to say the least. Randy is a made for TV kinda lawyer he’s so magnetic he had the jury whiplashed between his questions and the witnesses responses. His questioning gets intense and heated really quick.. edge of your seat kind of thing .

Pay the man !!! He is fantastic, Worth every penny! Don’t keep looking for lawyers Randy is your guy. He will actually care about you and your case. He’s passionate about what he does. He’s kind and genuine. Plus his paralegal Chris is amazing.
The first Step is call Chris at the office number. He will take in your information and listen to your case. Help pull the documents for it and then schedule for you to talk to Randy either in person or on the phone whichever you prefer.
Randy will either sit with you in person or discuss your case in general over the phone and give you his opinion/any obstacles he sees could be an issue and give you his legal advice.
Then you Callback and hire him!! Chris will send you the contract. Trust me you need to sign it. Randy is in your best interest and Worth the price you get what you pay for.
He will set up your case, if possible to be at a convenient time for you and for him. You don’t need to have constant contact with him. He is working on the backend with Chris on your case just give them everything you have and any other supplemental information you think could be of help to them.
Randy doesn’t tell you everything he’s doing but in reality he’s Working on your case slowly until the trial date. He will have a sit down with you where he literally goes through the evidence and what he’s going to be doing how he’s going to approach the case what you can do to help him all the evidence against you and all the evidence he’s going to bring to defend you. He will watch videos and audios with you. Literally spend a few hours just talking about your case with you.
At trial He is amazing. There’s just no words the way that he communicates to witnesses and to the judge is fantastic. He will crush a lying witness to the point where I saw him makes multiple people admit to lying and one even start crying saying she never wanted to come to court again !! He’s like a lawyer out of a TV show the tone of voice the mannerisms the presentation the wit and sharp replies . He’s got it all. Needless to say, he won my case and I thank him by recommending him to anybody and everybody who needs a criminal defense lawyer. Randy is definitely the best criminal lawyer in orange county !

Dustin Shamburg is an exceedingly hardworking, responsive, and kind man. I contacted his office after receiving a DUI, I was completely overwhelmed by the entire situation and felt completely paralyzed as what to do or what would happen from here. This was my first time ever needing legal counsel.
I knew within a few minutes of our talking that it only made sense to hire this firm. It became obvious that he has an immense amount of knowledge and experience in this arena and I'm so glad I engaged with this firm. Just a warning that this firm will use their Engagement Letter to justify every billing an avoid crediting the client for any damages/expenses caused by their late/inaccurate billings. For examples, even when your clients are no longer around to reimburse you for their share of the firm's late billing, zero adjustment. They will not release/credit the retainer until you request it and all projects are finished (most attorneys who charge retainers apply it to the first few billings/months). But the kicker was when we were charged attorney ($750/hour rate) for the office task of scheduling a group call and they would not adjust it! I absolutely consider Harmony our Attorney Angel! I was referred to her while trying to get some Family Law attorney recommendations for a child custody case that was getting increasingly unfortunate and ugly. Since I was recommended to her on Facebook, Harmony reached out to me via Messenger the same day I was given her name and offered to meet with us. I let her know that we had a court date coming up fast (one week out) and there were pages and pages of Declarations that I wanted her to review IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. Truly, I didn't at all expect her to take me up on it, but she asked me to email her all the docs (100+ pages!) and said she would review them before we did the free initial consultation with us. That alone would have been enough for me to worship her, but what she did next was the kicker. SHE GOT BACK TO ME AND INSTEAD OF TELLING US HOW TO RETAIN HER SERVICES, SHE TOLD US EXACTLY HOW TO FILE AND WHAT TO SAY IN THE RESPONSE. Her reasoning was that she didn't see the sense in us spending more money on an attorney when we could file the response ourselves prior to the court date and have the same outcome. I was hesitant because child custody is a very emotional issue and we didn't want to "mess up" in any way representing ourselves in court, but she literally told us how to word things, what forms to file, HOW to e-file and what to expect. She even advised us on how to format it so we would have a "guideline" of sorts to reference in court if we got tongue tied. I was SHOCKED, in a good way. Finances are important to everyone and can be overwhelming when dealing with legal issues, but here was Harmony, encouraging us NOT to spend more than necessary, while also explaining exactly how to do that. Crazy!
Court went very well, and we are 1000% convinced this is because Harmony walked us through everything. With her advice, we were able to concentrate and speak more about moving forward for a child than about bashing anyone. She is ethical, kind, not at all judgmental or arrogant, and above all, HUMAN. Such a good, good, GOOD human. I would absolutely recommend Harmony to anyone needing assistance with any sort of Family Law case (I know she also practices Personal Injury as well!). If you are totally confused and overwhelmed, call or email Harmony. You won't regret it!

Her inaction and carelessness have left me and my family in over $20,000 of debt. Worse, when I retained a new attorney, they discovered that critical documents—like the initial dissolution petition—were missing from the case file Sharman’s team provided.
The contrast between my new attorney and Sharman’s approach is stark. My new attorney is working diligently to fix the damage caused, and the difference is night and day. Sharman’s lack of care and effort has turned my case against me, which no client should have to endure.

Mr. Mor has been a very helpful and generous soul this weekend. I am currently on unemployment and my unscrupulous former employers decided to challenge my approved claim. Mr. Mor was a cold call and he informed me I did not need to hire him and he spent about 40 minutes counseling me why and explaining some tips. He then had me send over a 40 page document involving the case and gave me another complimentary consultation regarding his thoughts. WHAT LAWYER IN THE WORLD WOULD DO THIS ALL FOR FREE? We had no prior relationship I simply google'd him and he was this kind to me. He specializes in wrongful termination and EDD/unemployment matters. He was a bumbling incompetent attorney and I got what I paid for - bargain basement. If you have zero issues he may fumble his way through your case. Anything complex and it’s over his head and he’s out lawyered. I got a call from his assistant on another post I made asking what they can do before responding. Not only is he incompetent- he’s keen to blame everyone but himself and his poor skills. Lots of other attorneys to pick from. Don’t waste your time and money with this guy who can’t add up basic numbers.

I contacted the Vondran Law Firm over 10 days ago. The receptionist was short, seemingly in a hurry, and apparently disinterested in my call. I left my name and number asking for Steve or his assistant to call me back regarding a federal case in California. I never heard back from the firm.
One must ask, why does a law firm like this advertise and post videos on YouTube if when a new client contacts them they never even bother to call back?

Nguyen Law Group answered my questions and working with them was an easy choice. I made clear my need to keep costs down if possible, so they guided me through what I could do for myself throughout the process and I made sure not to be contacting them at every turn. They did their job well, were kind, professional, and helpful! They made the process as easy as possible and were clear at all times. I worked primarily with Neena and I appreciate her so much. I highly recommend Nguyen Law Group. They are compassionate and will help you whether you want a no frills, amicable divorce or whether you need them to pull out all the stops and go to bat for you in a difficult situation. By the way, it was as quick an painless as I could have imagined. We got started in May, filed in June, and it will be final January 3!

Mr. Mor has been a very helpful and generous soul this weekend. I am currently on unemployment and my unscrupulous former employers decided to challenge my approved claim. Mr. Mor was a cold call and he informed me I did not need to hire him and he spent about 40 minutes counseling me why and explaining some tips. He then had me send over a 40 page document involving the case and gave me another complimentary consultation regarding his thoughts. WHAT LAWYER IN THE WORLD WOULD DO THIS ALL FOR FREE? We had no prior relationship I simply google'd him and he was this kind to me. He specializes in wrongful termination and EDD/unemployment matters. He was a bumbling incompetent attorney and I got what I paid for - bargain basement. If you have zero issues he may fumble his way through your case. Anything complex and it’s over his head and he’s out lawyered. I got a call from his assistant on another post I made asking what they can do before responding. Not only is he incompetent- he’s keen to blame everyone but himself and his poor skills. Lots of other attorneys to pick from. Don’t waste your time and money with this guy who can’t add up basic numbers.

Day One, I was scared and beyond afraid. Marybeth Halloway has helped me come a long way. My ex and I finalized our divorce in 2016. We only went to court 1 time. Custody- done in a few hours, TRO- done, she made sure to expressed what I wanted in the final round. She's not someone who can be pushed around. She's a strong force. She knows the OC courts very well and has the best bench manners. She's very well established and she's taken seriously. I was lucky to have her be the 2nd phone call I made as I was googling an atty. I got lucky. She is usually busy, bcs that's how good she is. I referred a friend of mine also 2 years ago. It was a bit difficult for him because there was somewhat of a language barrier, but he was very happy with the final divorce also. Be sure to know exactly what you want and she will help you. She was there for me all around the clock. She restored my faith in people i when my heart was shattered. She will tell you exactly how it is and will not candy coat anything. I got lucky, I hope you are able to be lucky too.

I was at a hotel getting ready to check in two police officers came up asking me questions what I was doing there I was searched I had nothing on me one of the police officers tease me I fell to the ground then both police officers started shooting at me and two bullets went through my spine six bullets went past my head Cameron took the case telling me it was worth a lot of money and offered me $100,000 I contacted another attorney Dale galpo which at the time I didn't know they were friends I ended up getting $300,000 and I have problems in my back from the bullets I sent Dale a letter telling him I didn't want to take the deal they forced me to take it both of these attorneys did not do a good job and when I would try to get in touch with Cameron he always ghosted all my calls I do not recommend Cameron or Dale galpo I feel like I was sold out this haunts me all the time because of how they settle my case after I told them I didn't want to settle it I wanted to go to court the attorney from the cops said if it goes to court I would win this lawsuit I found out that later also I'm writing another review on this other law firm Dale galpo that helped Cameron sehat and their staff I have major back problems and my legs don't work very well and lots of nerve damage up and down my legs nothing happened to the police officers they got away with murder although I'm still alive and I have major anxiety and nightmares over these two police officers that shot me seven times this happened in tehachapi California oh the police officers cameras weren't on so they say there is not enough room on here to report how bad these attorneys are as I suffer the nightmares and pain because of these attorneys that did not get me Justice I decided that I am going to report them to the attorney general for not protecting my civil rights and allowing these police officers to get away with this I do not recommend dale gallippo or Cameron sehat

Andy assisted me in two matters. The first primarily involved his paralegals researching a tax issue with a government agency. His staff worked efficiently to solve the mystery and the issue was resolved. The fees seemed reasonable and it was a great experience.
The second was a commercial lease review and negotiation. Dealt primarily with Andy. His comments were very useful - he is clearly very experienced and knowledgable regarding these leases. He did, however, make me feel a bit like he was fitting me in, and he shuffled my lease to another attorney temporarily while he had bigger fish to fry. In general, he was polite on the phone and not difficult to speak with.
The fees seemed high - I've worked leases with other attorneys and not seen such high fees - and I asked him to review the fees and see if they could be adjusted at all. I was very polite and praised him effusively, and said even if the fees could not be adjusted, I would simply appreciate being informed in the future when fees were heading north of a couple grand. We are a small cost-conscious startup and I thought he would understand. He responded sarcastically and angrily that I must not know the cost of good legal advice, and that he doesn't want to work with me going forward. He did offer a credit. I did value his advice and would have happily paid the full invoice if he felt so strongly in the fees. To me, they just lacked a bit of value. I responded apologetically and offered an olive branch, but received another haughty message in response. I've worked with 4 other attorneys (none of them RE specific), a couple of them being very prominent attys in their fields, and never felt value lacking or been treated this way. It was a very unpleasant way to be treated and an unpleasant experience in general. I would not wish any of my friends or colleagues to be treated this way, regardless of his expertise.

We hired Mr. McElfish to evaluate corporate tax issues. We explained that we were on a rigid timeline in order to make decisions concerning an impending liquidity event. He boasted about how socially connected he is. The work product did not address our specific concerns and the tax conclusions were dubious. A significant retainer was eaten up without explanations. Access to McElfish was also difficult.
