An absolute amazing man and a wonderful staff to match. I didn't know how to use technology when he helped me in my time of need. So this is a few years after the matter. My husband had just passed away and I found out the insurance company didn't want to pay up. My sister referred me to this angel. He got me my husband's policy I was owed. It was a hard time for me and I didn't know how to deal with this part and i was crying uncontrollably . He was so professional, yet an understanding human. He told me to ake all the time I needed, because the thought of signing these papers seemed so final on his death, that it was a realization to me that he was really never going to come back to me. It's going to be 8 years on the 24th of February. Not a day goes by that I remember the kindness that he and his staff gave me, as this was and still is the first REAL loss (close to me), that I've experienced. Thank you cannot begin to express or acknowledge the respect, and love I have for this man and his staff. Thank you isn't enough for the help and genuine thoughtfulness y'all showed me.

My case was solved in the most impressive and fastest way I thought it would be. We were supposed to have court in January. When I hired Smith and Eulo they sent me Scott Messinger and Isabella Vicentelo. These two worked fast to get my fiance out of jail and not only that but they got the case dropped, in other words, no more court, all that in less than a month. There were 3 charges and all of them dropped! We could not believe! I never met my lawyers in person and I was never able to thank them enough. From the moment I spoke with Attorney James Davis, I instantly felt like I could trust this man and that we would be in good hands. I called early morning around 8:10am and he called me back within 30 mins informing me he would accept our case and be at the first appearance.
We were able to discuss all details openly and never felt judged or like we were less than due to the circumstances. He gave his cell phone number to us and made sure we understood he was available to us whenever we had questions.
Attorney Davis is very easy to work with and his office manager Anna is the same! I never had to wonder where we were stood in our case - they made calls frequently and made sure we understood what was happening every step of the way.
The results were worth every dollar spent on the retainer fee. I hope to never have to use his services again; but should we be in need, Attorney Davis and Anna will be my first call.

My wife and I have been living in Melbourne for over 10 years. It's a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. During the month of May my next-door neighbor sold his house. We greeted this person and even helped with some of his landscaping since he didn't have any lawn equipment. I had also informed this neighbor that the fence which runs along the property line was in severe deterioration and ask if he wanted to share the expense. At first he seemed reasonable then when I approached him to discuss getting prices, he became very aggressive and belligerent. And even complained to some of our neighbors. My wife and I decided to foot the bill for the fence after getting all the surveys completed and having the construction approved by the HOA. Once this was completed our fence contractor came in and ran a string-line that designated the property lines. the fence would then be constructed 4-5 inches inside the property line on our side. The neighbor went ahead and sabotages the line by cutting it down and this is when this neighbor became unruly. End result is there was a stand-off at the fence where he was video taping my wife and I doing lawn maintenance and I confronted him by taking away his cell phone, I was arrested. I contacted Jason Downs who reviewed our case and after much investigation and Jason's expertise to showed evidence that not only is this person unstable but repeatedly pulls stunts like this from his previous address. My case was dismissed, and my wife and I are forever grateful for Jason's support. I would recommend Jason's firm to anyone who has ever unfortunately had to deal with circumstances like this.

Mark and his office saved my life. I had a very high profile case and the Government was hell bent on destroying my life and imprisoning me for a very long time. I was innocent and this was my first time being arrested. Before I hired Mark, The Government refused to give me bond and held me in jail for over two years. The jail treated me horribly and I was always in the hole. Before Mark I had four different lawyers representing me. I let go of them all because none of them fought for me, I was just another number to them. One lawyer only visited me once in six months, stayed three minutes, and didn’t know my name. Another lawyer refused to believe me and wanted me to take a plea to go to prison for ten years. Three months before my trial I hired Mark O’Brien and my life took a 180 for the best! Unlike every other attorney Mark and his team made sure to pick up the phone and answer all of my concerns. He visited me in jail consistently and he talked to the Warden multiple times on my behalf. I was treated with respect at the jail for the first time. The guards no longer harassed me because they knew Mark would step in. Mark and his team communicated with my family constantly. Mark made sure my suit went to the dry cleaners to assure I looked good every day in court. Mark only had a couple of weeks to prepare for trial he exposed every lie and trick the Government did against me and totally destroyed their case against me. I was released three months after hiring him, right before Christmas just like Mark said I would and spent it with my family. I was in jail for two and a half years due to bad representation. One of my previous attorneys event contacted me afterwards and said “I understand why you fired us, only Mark could have gotten you that kind of outcome.” Mark freed me and prepared housing for me until my family was able to pick me up. When the police heard I was released they were so upset and embarrassed, they tried to arrest me again ..twice, but Mark put a full stop to that and I’m free because of him today. Mark and his team are truly the best! Take it from me I have had many lawyers. Even though I was innocent the other lawyers were scared of how many resources the Government were using against me and didn’t want to do the work to get the job done right. Without Mark I would have went to prison for a very long time for something I didn’t do. He is simply the best and I know this because he helped so many other inmates in jail get justice as well. Federal inmates weren’t going home if they didn’t have Mark as a lawyer. I recommend him highly.

Family hired him to help my brother he took the money then swapped him out he wouldn't do in person inspection of evidence for the case he begged my brother to take a polygraph test in which he passed and he still failed to do his duty my brother is 1000% innocent and if wasn't for him telling my brother he was getting released he wouldn't have signed a improper plea agreement this guy Rob us of 160k plus other fees wouldn't recommend ever he filed no motions he completed no depos he was asked numerous of times to file motion to incur cost for private investigations, officers in the case resigned due to investigations, the prosecutor destroyed evidence that was known tore up unwarranted phone with amicable evidenc even had the known suspect stating what the detectives did and done, phone bills was altered as well as videos was altered my innocent brother was sentenced to 7yrs for something he didn't do and a person he never saw nor came in contact with which is RIDICULOUS Look at case number 162019cf009692 in Jacksonville fl Duval County ALL FACTS

First time I used Mr. Novell, I was facing a speeding ticket along with a following to closely ticket issued by the same officer that pulled me over three months earlier for an over 30MPH over the limit! I showed up late for that court date so I was found guilty in absence. How Mr. Novell got these new citations resolved with not points or school and very low fines was simply amazing. I was charged with battery and aggravated assault which is a felony. I was on the verge of losing everything, even my nursing license but Lance saved the day. If you have an amicable divorce go to a mediator or give a small retainer fee. This office has a NON-refundable refund for retainers. My case was during the holidays and after we signed everything the office went silent. I had to email to check status and then they would move the case. I wasn't even informed on when my divorce was finalized, I found it on public records. Although I am knowledgeable and know it was my mistake for not reading the terms, I hope this helps someone to ask about refundable retainer fees. My divorce billable hours were about 2,500. My retainer fee was 5,500 so the office made an easy $2,900.00. Hope this review helps someone in the future!

“Exceeds expectations” does not even begin to capture the stellar work that Mr. Aiken has done for my family! With utmost compassion, expertise, and professionalism, Mr. Aiken provided exceptional legal advice and courtroom representation, managing to simultaneously prepare us for multiple possible outcomes while keeping us cautiously optimistic–he then delivered the best realistic outcome possible under the circumstances.
