Mr. Gross is a very knowledgeable attorney. I'd say his best qualities are being very honest and ethical, which are unfortunately in rare supply these days. You'll understand when you speak to him. There is straight talk with no hidden agendas, fees and surprises later. My primary needs have been for matters concerning general business and employment issues such as those concerning contract breaches, corporate formation and general agreements and contract review. On the employment side it's everything you'd expect from running a business. Mr. Gross is very timely in getting back to me, another skill which is in rare supply among attorneys (unless they really need something from you.) If you have the opportunity to meet, I would suggest you see for yourself. I'm confident you'll be convinced of the same as myself and felt like saying so here without reservation.

I don't really want to go into specifics of my case (tl;dr it was sticky, delicate, and messy), and instead would like to focus my review on my experience with Queenie, who I hired to represent me. I'll start with results. Queenie was able to advocate for me, and I ended up with an agreement that provided me better protections. She was able to secure more for me than what I thought was possible. This is significant, especially because in these scenarios we don't always know what we can ask for. It's great to have someone in your corner who does, and will do the work to secure that for you. The second thing I want to emphasize is how Queenie did this. She is experienced and knowledgeable, there is no doubt about that. But she also sought an environment that would give me the most leverage, using a wide range of tools and tactics. Queenie threw herself into this and was an aggressive advocate when she needed to be, and a measured advocate when it would be most beneficial to me. That was my experience with her. She also affirmed my role as the client and in the end gave me room to advocate for myself in a manner I could not before. I hope to not be in this situation again, but if I do, and for the many of us who end up here, you want someone like Queenie in your corner.

I was a student at one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the US, and undoubtedly, the world. I had been away on a medical leave of absence for a year after my first year and the school was giving me a difficult time getting back in. I contacted several lawyers, consulted with quite a few, all to have each and every one of them say there was nothing that could be done to get this institution to allow me to continue at that point in time. I had to do what the school asked. In the mix of lawyers contacted was Mr. Ricotta's firm. One morning, soon after I had left that message on their answering machine (I had left the message on a holiday), Mr. Ricotta called me back. I met Peter Jasen in 2002 after my first accident at an amusement park. He talked with me at length on what I needed to do and the next day was at my home to see how I was and discuss my case. He helped me through all the medical issues I was going through, was there for some of my appointments and always there by phone to add support during this horrible time. In 2009 I also had two auto accidents 6 months apart. Both happened in the evening hours and I called Mr. Jasen and got a return response from him immediately. He pointed me in the direction I needed to go to receive the medical help I needed. With these two accidents being more severe he was there often to doctor appointments, check up calls to be updated on my condition and lots of excellent advice along the way. At times I was confused on all that was happening to me and he knew how to handle my stress and guide me. Mr. Jasen also knew where I should send my truck for the repairs and stayed on top of everything there while I was being taken care of medically and couldn`t. All repairs were done to perfection and I was totally satisfied. I appreciated that Mr. Jasen was there helping and making sure all things were done right for my future driving safety. I had small issues that I also called him on and he handled and gave me direction . Never once did I ever feel I was a bother to him even though they were little questions I needed to ask. Mr. Jasen is the type of man that`s 100 % perfessional and truly cares about the people and what`s right for them. He knows the law and stands by his clients who need him. He always calls back in a timely fashion and never cuts you off when talking to you. He is patience but firm and will always be honest about what`s going on with your issue. All of my appointments were kept and on time. Never was any of them post poned or canceled for another date. My issues were addressed and I felt safe with all his help. Mr. Jasen is a terrific lawyer with a lot of knowledge of the law and I will continue to use him if needed and have recommended him to others which are totally satistfied with his work. I appreciate Peter Jasen Attorney for everything and all he has done for my family and I. Top notch lawyer and the best at being a caring human being. No push this and speak that and try to muddle thru some silly automated phone system; a consistent personal, caring approach to business at every level. Rob Valli is thorough, on point and straight forward, mixed with kindness and compassion. Don’t mistake his kindness for weakness, tho! When we brought our case to Brian, we had no idea that we'd end up working with a such a spectacular Lawyer. From day one, Brian was on top of every aspect of our case. Some great qualities that stood out to us were his level of detailed knowledge on every aspect of our concerns, his friendly way of explaining how the law applies to a particular scenario and most of all, his timely communication. Brian's responsiveness went above and beyond excellent. Every time one of us had a question and sent him an email, in a matter of minutes, we'd get a thorough response back. Even if it was late at night or on a weekend. This really showed the three of us that he cared about our comfort. What was great was that he explained similar restaurant cases to us and as we were going through ours, we began to see how certain things related. We got a better understanding of how employment law works. It's nice to be a waiter and have a grasp of something so important. Also, during the course of our case, we were never left in the dark. I was a client of David E. Gottlieb (one of the partners at Wigdor) for about 1.5 years. I had met with a few other lawyers and selected Gottlieb because (a) I wanted a "shark" for my case and I could tell he would be very aggressive with the other side and (b) he was extremely solicitous to me, the client - he scheduled a call with me over the weekend once because his week was booked. The client service David provided was outstanding. David explained the legal procedure and jargon to me very clearly through every step and was happy to answer my questions. If I emailed him, I don't think he ever took longer than 12 hours to respond, even on the weekend when I wasn't expecting a reply until Monday. His even-keeled demeanor made me feel calm and relaxed, which was very helpful as there were certainly a few anxiety-inducing moments along the way. David Gottlieb is the kind of professional who actually believes in his work and focuses on getting his clients the best outcome possible to make their situation right. I can't recommend him enough.

I recently was informed by a company at which I'd been working for over 10 years that they were going to be changing my employment status - either demoting me and cutting my pay, or terminating my employment with a modest severance package. I had to make a decision about which option was best for me and my family - a very difficult decision to make. I decided to seek an attorney's advice, so I filled out an online contact form on Wigdor's site, because of their excellent reputation. I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email response within 1 day directly from a partner at the firm, Lawrence Pearson, who offered to meet with me to discuss my situation. (This was in stark contrast to another firm I also reached out to, who had a paralegal call me, ask some questions, and then took several days for someone to get back to me to set up a follow-up appointment.) When I met with Lawrence, I was immediately put at ease by his patient and confident manner. He listened to my case and gave me frank and useful advice - without asking for a dime. We agreed that, if my firm did not accept the counter-offer I was preparing to give them, I would engage Lawrence to begin some kind of action...but if my firm DID take my counter-offer, then I'd just take the money and not utilize his services. Lawrence was perfectly fine with that, I felt absolutely no pressure. I truly felt he had my best interests in mind. In the event, my company accepted my counter-offer, and I ended up having no need for Lawrence's services - but I feel confident that, had the need arisen, I would have been ably and forcefully represented by Lawrence and his firm. Overall, a 100% positive experience, and I recommend Lawrence highly for anyone facing a similar situation.
