Mr. Winer has handled trust and estate issues for my parents, and for my husband and myself. He has drawn up our wills and other legal documents. When my husband died suddenly he assisted me every step of the way, including probate, transferring copyrights and royalties, and more. I am a surgeon who is still young in terms of our normal career path. I found myself unable to do any procedures or surgery despite being in a specialty that is by definition procedure oriented. I did purchase private own occupation long-term disability insurance when I was a resident, but I never thought I'd have to use it.
When it became clear that I was not getting better at the rate I would like, I called up a few different firms to help me guide through the process. I found that Eddie was not only available but affable, and I could tell he is definitely able. His previous win for another surgeon who unfortunately had to go all the way to the court gave me a lot of confidence that he was going to be able to fight for me every step of the way.
We had quite a bit of push back from the very beginning, but he was able to guide me throughout the process and despite persistent pushbacks and demands from the insurance company, I was just told today that we finally got the approval! His assistant Sonya has also been excellent.
Getting the approval is way more difficult than I first imagined. I am so glad that I had Eddie to help me. I'll recommend him and his team without a hesitation

No one expects sickness to come. My father was hospitalized and unable to make sound decisions for himself. After a consultation with Mr. Bolves, I was able to obatin the propoer paperwork that would allow me to ensure proper care for my father.
After the initial consultation, documents were prepared and ready for review within a matter of a few days. I appreciated the care taken in explaining the process of what needed to be done and the professional manner in which it was done. I just settled a dispute with my former landlord over prepaid rents and rent deposits. The landlord had previously agreed to release me from my lease so that I could purchase a home.
Shortly after I terminated my lease and moved out, the landlord began stringing me along saying that her attorneys (a high-power firm in Sarasota) had told her that she could keep all of my prepaid rents and deposits and return nothing to me. We are talking to an excess of $13,000, so I contacted Attorney Derek DiPasquale based upon his Avvo reviews. Mr. DiPasquale was able to quickly get me a very favorable resolution without the need to go to court. Attorney DiPasquale was always available to respond to my questions and concerns, but more importantly, he provided me with excellent legal guidance. He definitely knows his legal subject matter, and was fully prepared to handle my case. He also knows his way around the local legal circles, and I found him to be very fair, honest, and knowledgeable.
I am very pleased with Attorney DiPasquale, and will re commend him to anyone who needs a high-quality legal mind in his corner. In fact, when my situation was resolved, I grabbed several of his business cards to pass along to my friends, and more importantly, to keep for myself, should I need to speak with an attorney in the future.
In my opinion, Attorney DiPasquale is one of the best attorneys that I have encountered in my 56 year old life which includes my 24 year federal law enforcement officer career.

Living in another part of Florida and needing a second opinion from an experienced trust litigator I contacted Ms. Sundberg. Since I am involved in a trust but am not the grantor, the local attorney who created the trust had been (rightly so) keeping me a bit at arms length.
Ms. Sundberg was available to take my call and did. She listened patiently while I explained my situation and questions regarding the trust, and my concerns about what might cause an adverse decision to the trust and myself should it be challenged. She then very calmly, but obviously from a place of experience, gave me her take on the pitfalls I might encounter. Importantly, she clearly differentiated between those items and courses of action that were middle of the road and safe and those that might be at the edge of the road and could go either way should the trust go to litigation. That distinction was hugely helpful.
Finally, much like the character in "Miracle on 34th Street" who advises a Macy's customer who couldn't find the item they were looking for at Macy's that they could find it at Gimbels, she pointed out that an attorney who was certified in elder law and practiced in my geographic area would be the best attorney to consult for my remaining questions, since that is where the trust would be litigated if it came to that. Zimmerman Kiser Sutcliffe is lucky to have her and anyone who needs her assistance in her area of expertise cannot do better.

My mother lived in Florida and my wife and I lived over 600 miles/11 hour drive away. After she died, we feared that in order to settle her estate, we would have to make multiple trips to Florida to sign documents and make court appearances, etc. However, Mr. Krooks and his wonderful assistant, Ms. Rubin, performed their services for us by e-mail, phone and U.S. mail--not once did we have to return to Florida to settle her estate!

I met Thom Rogers at a national estate planning attorneys' conference in the mid-1990's. He was a great communicator when presenting tax matters seminars. Thom also conveyed the importance of being client focused in the practice of law. Three years ago I had an opportunity to co-counsel with Thom on an estate administration in Florida. Amanda came very highly recommended to me and I had full faith in her going into my first property purchase. I didn't think she would be any different than any other real estate lawyer however. She was very informative, smart, and walked me through all of the paperwork. But what really stood out was the research she put forth in order to help me with my purchase. She handled everything for me and when it came to closing she explained that she got me out of a nearly $5,000 tax charge because the seller was an international who would not question her motion to have the seller cover that fee. I doubt most other lawyers would even know that, let alone take the initiative to help me as the client that way.
She truly exceeded my expectations and was a huge help.

After inheriting my grandmothers property, it was a tough time as you could imagine and I had no idea who to turn to with the process. We originally hired a lawyer whom could not answer basic elementary estate questions, which lead us to replacing her. I came across Leonard Mondschein's name a few times over the years assuming that one day my parents might be in need of one. Oddly I kept his name in different places and when the time came which was about 6 months ago, I went on the internet to look for an elder lawyer. After finding him I gave the info to my mom and later found his name on little pieces of paper I had saved. It was true Kismet!
He has helped my mom with my step-dad's needs and now he is helping my dad with my step-mom's needs. Who knew his services would be required twice in 6 months.
I have been a part of the process with the first parent and it went quite smoothly. My mom is thrilled with his services as am I.
