I leave everything in his hands and I don't have to worry about it because he has it all under control so that I can focus only on getting well. On the days that I do have a melt down he calmly talks me through and tells me its going to be ok. Having dealt with back pain he has an understanding of what it is like to live in pain and therefore it's enabled him to relate to his clients better in my opinion because he's more understanding when your having a bad day of your needs. Even over the phone when your having a total melt down he can calm you down he will tell you everything is going to be ok you believe him. Not every attorney can do that. It's a special gift.

As you may know, filing and fighting a work comp claim is a long and tedious process with days, weeks and months of frustration. Guy Spayth was clear and concise about the process, the obstacles and the precise things I needed to do make the process manageable.
He was helpful in explaining how and why things happened and at times had to "talk me off a ledge" because my frustration level was so high. He is not only a competent attorney but an empathetic and caring person.
When it was all done, I had all my medical bills paid, my back pay recovered and a fair settlement.

As someone who is using Ostling and Abbott the only good thing I can say about them is that they allow you to make payments ahead of your bankruptcy filing . It seems very difficult to speak with someone who can help if you are not at the office. Speaking with my attorney seems to be impossible outside of an office appointment. They only seem to due the basics. They don't explain what is happening throughout the process. They just send me copies of the court papers without any explanation from them of what is happening or a follow up call or meeting.
I am left wondering constantly what is happening with my case fearing the worst because you can't get any help or your questions answered or if they do not in a sufficient time frame. I know others have had good experiences with them, this is just my experience with Abbott in general.

The workers comp process is a lot more difficult than I would have ever imagined and I am glad to have found a good lawyer. Attorney Fred Beer help guide me through a long a difficult time. His advice and knowledge help to ease the stress and allow me to focus on my recovery.
He answered all of my questions and handled my concerns from beginning to end. All e-mails and phone calls were returned promptly and any issues were addressed right away. In addition he kept me well informed as to what would or may come next, staying on top of the situation all of the time.
Being properly advised of my rights I was able to get the best treatment possible and he even helped me to research doctors that were well suited to treat my injuries. After any procedures Attorney Beer followed up to make sure I was doing well and that everything went well.
From day one he made sure I received a fair wage during my time off and stayed on top of the insurance company when they fell behind in payments. He also made sure all medical bills were taken care of and in the end got me a fair settlement. All in all I would recommend him to anyone that has to go through the workers comp process. Jason took me through my bankruptcy case. At such a difficult time, he was extremely understanding and compassionate about my situation. He also made sure I was prepared for all the things that would or could come up throughout the process. Because of this, nothing in the process felt like a painful surprise, which made it much easier to get through psychologically. He was readily available to answer my questions, made me feel comfortable even asking potentially dumb questions, and had tremendous patience. With other professionals, you can sometimes feel like the lawyer etc is trying to keep your appointment as short as possible and they want to move on already to their next client. Jason took his time, never made me feel rushed. He also went above and beyond in so many ways. For instance, he drove all the way out to the south suburbs to meet me in person for our first meeting. He also called ahead to the courthouse because I was concerned that they might not let me bring my laptop. I had no expectation nor had I asked him to do those things - he just offered/did them for me.

There are many attorneys in the Southwest Suburbs and then there is George J. Jasinski. I was fortunate enough to retain Mr. Jasinski to represent me in a serious workmen's compensation injury claim. I was injured in a fall at work, and required two knee replacements. I was deemed unable to return to my original line of work by my treating doctor. Mr. Jasinski and his staff assisted me over the 3-year pending period of my case, and always were very helpful when I needed assistance in obtaining medical authorization or follow-up relative to my TTD benefits. They always returned my telephone calls in a timely manner and went above and beyond to assist me. I was in contract to purchase a home and the inspection yielded the discovery of active termites. I followed up with pest and structural inspections to get estimates for repairs. The repairs exceeded the $1500 threshold that provides an option for the seller to withdraw and receive earnest money back if they should choose.
After deciding to cancel the contract, the seller's agent refused to acknowledge the cancellation claiming that I "obtained these estimates fraudulently." She also suggested that earnest money should not be returned to me and proceeded to slander myself and my agent. Unable to resolve this dispute I decided to hire Shaun to enforce the real estate contract as written.
Shaun immediately reviewed all the pertinent details and provided me with the confidence need to resolve this dispute quickly. He began the intervention with the seller's agent providing the facts of the situation and the contract itself. After 24 hours after speaking with the seller's agent, the entire concern was dropped from their side, the cancellation had been accepted and earnest money scheduled to return.
Shaun Cusack's sense of urgency, attention to detail, and application of the law are unmatched. I would recommend him every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I found the Springer Law Firm on line and called them up. I was able to have questions resolved over the phone.
After meeting with Mr Springer I was told of my options and was not pressured into anything. The consultation was free even though I didn't file.
I had checked out other firms and was surprised to find out how much they charged. I even asked him how much it would be before I chose to not file. He had told my the price and I was surprised at how much less it would have been to go through him.
I highly recommend this firm! They are the most affordable, with the highest quality of work (at least what I experienced). They were always responsive and proved to be knowledgeable. I hate to think how much I could have paid if I was convinced to file with another law firm. It's nice to know there are people out there that don't try to take advantage of you.

John handled a slip and fall case for me. I fell at my apartment building and the landlord was not doing anything about it. I'm lucky I found John because he filed a lawsuit and did a really good job working the case. He had an expert visit the scene and do an inspection and take photos. The expert was really good and found code violations. We ended up settling the case for a lot of money and I'm very happy with John as my attorney.

I was looking at 6 months for a dui charge and child endangerment Eduardo recommended that we do a cold plea in front of the judge saying he was a fair judge and usually goes for court supervision on 1st dui cases. I was already on a suspension from a previous DUI that I was found not guilty for. Someone somehow use my name for driving while my license was suspended . The court wanted me to plead guilty and gave me no chance to explain myself until I found this lawyer. He heard my story and we teamed up together and the court could never produce evidence to say that I was the one driving but they still tried to pursue me to give up my rights and agree to the fact that I was guilty but had no evidence. They dropped all charges thanks to John Fitzpatrick.

I highly recommend calling Mr. Deffet if you find yourself involved in a negative situation with a creditor and/or debt collections agency. Mr. Deffet provides one on one support and makes you feel comfortable and informed with every step of your case.
