This can be a mentally draining process back and forth just to get mom and dad accepted, and Kandyce kept us in the loop and informed on what to do and what to expect. I would like to thank Bre for her support and assistance in a difficult time. My uncle passed away in January leaving my aunt hospitalized alone in Florida. She wound up in the hospital after the funeral and my family are all in New York. She kept in touch with me, gave us tons of advice and has helped us get to a good place for now. I am sure with their assistance we will be able to help my aunt with all her needs. I look forward to growing the relationship and working with them.

Just to share a little background with you on the help and support I received from Family First. My Uncle Danny was the youngest of 4 kids but unbeknown to the older 3, 1sister and 2 brothers, Danny was placed for adoption at birth and adopted by 2 loving parents and raised in a military family. He knew he was adopted. Danny was briefly married, maybe a year, and had to children. Many years later after his parents passed he went looking for and found his siblings and many nieces and nephews. That was in 2009. The siblings kept in touch as often as possible but Danny lived in Florida, 1 brother in Massachusetts and the other brother and sister in Michigan. After the siblings passed away being the oldest of the nieces and nephews I stayed in touch as much as I could. I also live in Michigan. Danny had some health issues and after a major procedure he became incapable of taking care of himself. This is when Family First got involved and I met Maricarmen Garcia. They helped me get guardianship and gave me the support I needed to attend to his well being. Fast forward a few years later and when it came time and I needed to get a DNR they set up meeting with the Judge and Dr and fortunately for all parties involved it came just 3 weeks before Uncle passed. Without the help from Family First, Maricarmen and the rest of the staff I not sure how I could have proceeded. I am in the final process of taking care of his final resting place which is taking his ashes and place g them next to the 2 people that loved him the most his Mom and Dad. Evan Sagar was instrumental in guiding us through the Probate process. Evan was assigned to help us in gathering all the necessary information, paperwork and signatures. Also helping us understand the process and timeline for all of those steps. I do recommend Family First and would use them again for all related issues with family law issues.
