Kevin Gordon is the most incompetent attorney. He did not answer my calls or emails. He did not pay attention to details in forms when filing with the city and documents were returned, then he did not follow through, but tell me that he was busy with something else. Even the opposing party threatened him with reporting him to the bar. He drafted a settlement that did not protect me as his client. At the end, he just told me to get another attorney. Wow. It is unfortunate that his practicing.

Very unhappy with the outcome of my case. It was handled unprofessionally. And l fought with the attorney the whole way. I had to file with the BAR twice. I hired Legacy and was told will take it to trial. During mediation l was told to settle today or l could lose everything, because they were not going to represent me in court. Then the attorney settled the case against my will. I was forced to settle for considerably less than the original trust stated.

If you do end up needing litigation, I could not more highly recommend Robert to fight for and protect your interest. This is one heck of an attorney, he is passionate and takes pride in his work.
I engaged Robert to litigate a business contract dispute that was very personal to me and also to myprofessional reputation. It was a stressful and difficult situation that Robert handled with ease all the way through arbitration and a final judgment. If anyone feels a little uncomfortable working with attorneys and going through the litigation process, Robert is incredibly reassuring to work with. He was very concise and thorough making sure he didn’t leave anything out that could be damaging to me down the road, as he explained my options. Leslie handled my college aged son's super speeder ticket. It was his first offense, and the judge seemed sympathetic when we called. Leslie actually suggested that we might not need her - clearly ethical. I still felt it necessary to have someone represent us to make sure we had everything in order. We are pleased with the outcome - nothing on the record and no suspension.
I also loved that Leslie handled things directly with my son, even though I made the initial contact and hired her. I again think this demonstrates her attention to ethics.

Frank Wright was an angel in disguise. I was in a head on collision with no fault of my own and it turned my world upside down. Frank took care of everything on the legal end of this devastating accident and always checked in to see how I was. The only thing I needed to worry about was getting better. It is with great pleasure that I write an outstanding review for Attorney John Ryan. As a non profit preschool that serves the needs of children with several different learning styles and abilities, it goes with out saying we have been severely affected due to the pandemic. Through determination, grit and for lack of a better word, blood sweet and tears, we are still standing and serving families of the community as it was very evident our unique learning school is much needed in the community.
At the end of the day, we are viewed as just another business with our debtors, and landlords and beyond. We have encountered and come across some of the most vile and unethical people through out this process, as a volunteer board president who started this organization in 2014 to ensure there was a place for my child who is a non traditional learner, and many of her peers the toll this was taking was becoming too much. When we hired Attorney Ryan, it was to handle a fraction of what we were dealing with. We persevered to move forward and keep what we started going, when disparaging emails, harassment, and phone calls became too much to cary, Attorney Ryan Stepped in on several different occasions to take some of this stress off our plate, and handled the unethical treatment and “threats” with out skipping a beat. He was able to reassure us we were not in need of meeting unrealistic demands, and took over on our behalf and was very attentive and not bothered by the grotesque scare tactics used by misc companies, and people. Knowing that Attorney Ryan was handling this, while fully keeping us in the loop, and assuring us of our rights, helped relieve a huge amount of stress, anxiety and harassment, so we could focus on what really matters, carrying our mission forward and ensuring a place like this will exist in our community for years and beyond.

John stuck with me through a year long house sale horror. First, was the deed in lieu. I changed my mind (for which he was very gratuitous and only seemed to care that I chose the best option for myself). Next came the short sale from hell. If something could go wrong, it did. This lasted over 8 months. All along the way, he advised me on the best options. He checked on me quite a bit, was very professional but caring. I felt like I really had someone who had my back. Just Awesome!!!
I had an issue with my license as it wasn't going through the registration process and I thought, it is suspended and got nervous as anyone would. After looking up few numbers and reaching through Lawyers.com, was able to connect with Mr.Verrastro who initiated the call and even after I missed his call, he picked up my call and listened to the issue with extreme patience.
After listening to the problem and current situation, Mr. Verrastro took few seconds to figure out the potential problem and advised me to go to DMV and speak to them. Honestly, I wasn't expecting such a busy person allocating this much time and propose a solution as well.
Five Stars ***** and a huge recommendation for anyone who needs help with legal matters.

I would highly recommend the Douglas Family Law Group. I have come to realize that you either have a horrible lawyer or a great one. I feel the best measure is when they are transparent and show that they actually care. I was first represented by a pro-bono lawyer who wouldn't tell the court my ex-partner boyfriend threatened me, that she caused him 38 lates to school and she didn't have him half the time and she moved out of state without telling me or the court. He just kept telling me " you never know what the judge will say so take the settlement". he refused to even put my requests in the settlement if he felt they wouldn't agree. When I retained the Douglas Family Law group it was a different experience. There was constant communication, empathy and acknowledgment for some of the unfairness that I had experienced. Elizabeth spoke up for me in the courtroom and stated many things that needed to be on the record. Elizabeth put in my reasonable and justifiable requests when engaging in the settlement process. Elizabeth many times had to explain to me what the court pays attention to and what path we can take to present that. I have a great disdain for the family court system and it's practices but if you have representation from this law firm they can professionally and honestly represent and defend your interests in this institution. I, thank them for finally giving me a voice in this arena so that my son can truly have what he needs that serves in his best interest.

I highly recommend Knies, Helland & McPherson. Jenni (Helland) did an amazing job. My ex and her attorney were very antagonistic, liked to draw out the process, and did everything they could to drive up legal fees. Jenni was great in understanding what was happening and the likely outcomes or consequences. She avoided emotional arguments, and instead made sound legal ones. More importantly, she advised me when I was making an emotional decision and gave recommendations on what actions I could take that would be legally successful. Having someone in your corner that was willing to tell you what you needed to hear, instead of what you wanted to hear saved me thousands of dollars.
This is not a law firm that will needlessly drive up costs. For example, I was never charged for attorneys fees for anyone Jenni may have consulted with (this is a frequent tactic of less reputable law firms). I was never given a weekly 'update' that created billing hours even if nothing was happening in the case. Jenni never had me make needless discovery requests, subpoenas or motions that are typical and drive up costs.
I had a more experienced and higher hourly rate attorney than my ex, but my ex's legal fees were 30% higher because of all the shenanigans they played.
Jenni will give you the legal experience you need without driving up costs.

I worked with Attorney Natalia Asbill-Bearor on a simple severance negotiation with a former employer and had a horrible experience. I often couldn't tell whose side she was on and there were many times where I felt like she was talking down to me or misleading me altogether. I didn't find her services to provide much value and felt disrespected throughout the entirety of the few months we worked together. When you're dealing with a duplicitous and unethical employer, the last thing you need is an attorney who doesn't seem trustworthy either. What can I say about Keith Scherer and Greg Gagne, mostly nice things. Have you ever been accused of something horrible you didn't do and having to convince everyone you're innocent? I've tried to maintain my good morals and positive work ethic during my time in the dark and prove to everyone my innocence but having two TDS lawyers just wasn't enough. My dad referred me to these guys, one a gentle being who examines everything and the other a straight shooter who gets straight to the problem (no beating around the bush, this is real!). I have been extended past my ETS Date for over a year because of a sexual assault and domestic violence issue my ex wife's accusations originating based on spousal support and deployment pay, thanks to Scherer, Gagne & associates, I'm now a free man who will be out processing soon with my hard earned benefits and DD-214 in hand.
