This lawyer is currently a rising star in agriculture law, but it is my belief that he will 'pave the way' in whatever field he chooses. He was always easy to contact, and went above and beyond in making me feel as though I was his number 1 client. He was down to earth and interesting to talk too. He was fair and laid out every course of action he could use and then disscused all the possible outcomes. Ms Geguchadze only had 10 days to review my case prior to my hearing. Within that time she was able to formulate a great plan of attack. She gave me excellent coaching on how to properly respond to the questions. During the hearing she was prepared, calm & collected, and able to think on her feet. Very responsive to all my emails and phone calls. Great experience working with her. Although my child's case is not related to special ed, Mr. Berliner followed up with my urgent voicemail and called me after 8 pm, once he got a chance to respond. People get very stressful and emotional especially when they are not treated fairly and tend to carry away from the main course. I think Mr. Berliner knows this very well and stays sharp to the point. He spent about an hour or a bit more to listen to our situation, asked additional questions to clarify a few moments and tried to keep the conversation in a right direction. Unfortunately, I was out of time to make proper decisions for the next day, however, Mr. Berliner still suggested several options that were very helpful. I highly recommend Mr. Berliner to parents who are having problems with their schools.

We engaged Attorney Berliner after unsuccessfully trying to get our local school district to realize that our daughter’s educational needs were not being met. After literally years of trying to wade through PPT meetings and negotiating IEP’s we finally challenged our school district to consider an “out of district placement” so that she could finally get the specialized education she needed. Nothing that we said, no evidence that we provided could convince the school district that they were failing her.
From the outset, Attorney Berliner was personable, professional and very straightforward in explaining the various options we had. Once we engaged his services, he attended a PPT meeting with us and represented our position in a very clear way. When the school district continued to hold to their position, Attorney Berliner helped us through what ultimately because a legal battle that we could never have fought – or won – on our own.
I am very pleased to say that our daughter did receive the out-of-district placement that she needed. She has now moved through the high school system, and is a better adjusted, more motivated and forward looking young adult than she was, or would have been if she had stayed where she was.

After I had discussed my case with several attorneys who each advised that they had little confidence that I would prevail litigating the estate issues that I faced, I hired Gary to represent me. Gary is an amazing attorney. He was actually referred to my family from a different attorney who does the same work. When the other attorney heard what we were trying to accomplish, he said we needed to call Gary because he is the best and he is absolutely correct! We were able to quickly get a guardian/conservator in place and he certainly turned a very difficult, stressful situation into a manageable one. He got things done with lightening speed as I'm sure this could been a long drawn out expensive case. It says a lot when another attorney will turn down business to refer you to best. My wife and I went in to see James to see if we were able to deal with me losing my job because of an injury at work. Effective, focused, and respectful and are the three words that I would use to describe my experience with John, Andrew and the entire LBC team.
Effective, in achieving the desired results throughout the entire process, from summary judgement, through the appeal process.
Focused only on the merits of the case and the applicable law, he was never distracted from the facts by the opposing counsel’s ever-changing stories, claims and threats.
Respectful, of the emotional impact that any litigation has on a person. Whenever we needed to speak it was always purposeful, direct and reassuring, never wanting to waste time riding on the emotional rollercoaster, but always willing to listen my concerns.

I called Mr. Cimino looking to see if he handles traffic tickets out of a nearby city. He took the time to listen to what was going on and explained that he doesn't normally handle this type of a case. He provided some awesome information and took the time to explain things to me. Fantastic lawyer, fantastic person! He went to bat for me. He didn't negotiate, he stood up for me against the Texas Board of Nursing. After 15 months of the TBON painful proposals with another lawyer, I changed to Marc Meyer as my representative. He was my trial lawyer. I never even went to trial! Within 3 months of communication between Marc and the BON, the BON closed the case and shredded the file!! That was more than I was even asking. The Grace of God and Marc Meyer saved my license against a very serious wrongful act done by the public. More Nurses need an advocate like Marc. Very pleased with him and the outcome.

This is so embarrassing, but I will tell you anyway! This is the 3rd Ticket Brad Butterworth has been hired as my attorney. Two times in Hopewell on 95, of course. And the 3rd time, in Sussex on 95, of course.

Due to a wild past, I was assumed guilty from the moment I showed my drivers license. Over a span of 30 years I had accrued 3 convictions for possession of a controlled substance, and served 3 prison terms in Texas already for the exact same controlled substance that I found myself charged with last year. The police, once they ran my record, impounded the car so they could search at leisure. They found a baggie of residue dropped by my passenger as I was being arrested for no insurance. They let him walk away, unquestioned, unsearched. The gears turned: Once guilty, always guilty... but 3 times convicted and sentenced? Well, lets just say they were enthusiastic. They "confused" where they found it, making it look worse. One "claimed" he witnessed "tracks" on my arms. The Grand Jury indicted. The D.A. enhanced 0.1 gram to a 3rd degree TDC felony, filing: 'Habitual'. It looked so bad that some big name local lawyers wanted $10,000 just to plea bargain the case.
I had heard of an ex Prosecutor who was extremely good at finding fault in police procedure: "Bill Wirskye". I found his website, and articles on-line about him. I read that he was an expert at many aspects of law. He seemed to have talents, skill, and knowledge in layers. I met with him on a Saturday. Typical of what I came to know and admire as his style and demeanor, he said little, made no promises, and said one particular thing that was opposite from all the others I'd spoken with, which was: "Well, I believe you are in a whole lot less trouble than you think." I asked about my odds for dismissal on grounds of illegal search. He was non-committal, and completely honest. He said: "I don't know, but if there was any violation of your rights, or police procedure, I will sniff it out. I asked about his fee. He gave me the lowest figure I had heard yet, apart from the "mail fliers" that follow an arrest like buzzards offering: "$500 plea bargains - COME ON DOWN!" I only had $300 to offer as a retainer. Bill Wirskye took the case, and if I had only known what I know now, I would have quit worrying right then and there, but instead, I began to spiral into depression and anxiety. Mr Wirskye made an excellent 'babysitter' during those months. Telling me to be patient, and calm, that time was our ally. I was anything but calm. I developed a skin inflammation at my ears, and one anxiety-ridden morning on the way to court I scratched my ear until I bled all over my suit and tie. I told Mr Wirskye I was going to be late. He told me not to worry, he had already been and reset the date in my absence. 15 months later, the case was "Dismissed in the interest of Justice". Mr Wirskye casually text'd the news to me using about 5 words... characteristic of himself. By the time this was done, Mr. Wirskye had such a list of errors, "inconsistencies", illegal pretenses and procedures by the arresting officers in Irving that had the D.A.'s office not conceded when they did, I have no doubt that by the time he was finished the arresting officer would have feared jail himself. "The pretense of doing an impound inventory in order to search was illegal", "leaving the passenger in the car unattended for far too long during my arrest was improper", I had told the officer he could search me for weapons but declined to let him dig in my pockets, "the subsequent search became a possible civil rights violation". "the film footage of the arrest clearly contradicted the police report concerning the location of the substance"... Mr Wirskye had so many layers of armor around me that if they'd tried to get my case into court it would have been like peeling an onion trying to remove them all, & as the year had passed I'd become aware that this man would win any case he saw fit, if not one way, then another. He is a brilliant Attorney, with integrity, compassion, charity, and dignity, and I could not have asked for more. In the end, he gave me a break on the fee... almost 50%
