I find that when I have an idea that I think needs to be looked into, she listens and gives me some feed back as to good or bad . Her response to emails is almost immediate. She seems to be available almost anytime day or night. When she was a paralegal I told her she was going to be a good lawyer because she cares. No one can ask for more.

I would highly recommend Linda Kerns and I do regularly to friends and colleagues. I have used Linda's services on several occasions but most recently with help purchasing a house. Linda is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. She was very persistent about checking the footprint of the property during inspection and thank goodness as the deed of record was incorrect and needed to be amended. She kept everything else in check and is very responsive whatever the time of day.
It is obvious that Linda enjoys her work, but more importantly it is clear that she takes great pride in doing things to the very best of her ability. She demonstrates great integrity and is very much in control of any situation. I had the honor and pleasure of using John Allen Chalk as a lawyer when I went into the oil business in the early 1980's and then from 2000 through 2007 I practiced with him as one of his law partners. There is no lawyer with more integrity than John Allen. We tried complex cases together in civil courts , arbitrated complex commercial cases and mediated cases together. He was a mentor and leader in our law firm to every lawyer, especially the trial lawyers. He has earned the highest respect and trust of the Judges in Ft. Worth and has been appointed by them to serve as a receiver in some of the most difficult fiduciary roles a lawyer can be asked to perform. I was in a very unfamiliar situation. Locked up, falsely accused. Jordan gave me hope, and was my go to person for everything relating to the criminal charges I had. He was very prompt, on-time, and respectful. I could have settled but he believed in me. I was acquitted of a felony, gross misdemeanor, and two misdemeanors. My outcome couldn't have come out any better than that. His closing was very well put together, from his speech to the visuals he used. I certainly hope if you need an attorney, you get the chance to work with him.

Mike took on my case in May 2005 without hesitation after i reached out to him. it was a complex litigation however, he was not afraid of the challenge, he was a hard fighter and truly cared about the interests of myself and that of my son, Mike invested 100s of hours of time in preparation and trial practice for this matter. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Nancy during the period 12/2013 through 8/2014. Nancy served as one of 3 City Attorneys for a local municipality in Central Arizona where I was on assignment at the time. In my role as then Interim Chief Information Officer for that municipality, I relied greatly on the City Attorney’s office to ensure our Information Technology (IT) related contracts with vendors provided the necessary legal protections to the City.
Nancy approached such matters with great detail and thoroughness. She proved to be very knowledgeable in various areas – including IT. I was in a horrible car accident. My auto insurance was taking their time paying for my medical bills and reimbursements. When they started fighting me on some of them, I hired Mr. McCormick. I went to Ralph Powell 18 months into my case after my initial lawyer had to retire for health reasons. In just a few short weeks Mr. Powell had reviewed the case file, met with me to discuss the specifics and options of the case, and formulated a game plan. My case was an auto accident with no fault on my part but an insurance company playing games at my expense. Within approximately 4 months he was able to negotiate a settlement by bringing reasonable solutions to the table and brought my case to a close. Mr. Powell kept me informed regularly and was very aggressive in getting the information needed. He thoroughly, and I say again, thoroughly handled all the particulars of my case. Matthew Radefeld is a skilled tactician. I brought him a 2 felony count case that carried a maximum penalty of 8 years in DOC. The case had various options for resolution however Matt held out and worked the file. After carefully navigating the complexity of the judicial system, and negotiations, we were able to come to an amicable disposition (no incarceration, no probation). Matthew Radefeld is not only an amazing attorney but a kind and attentive person to his clients. He is keenly aware of the law and makes it his mission to be the most prepared person in the courtroom. He will make sure that there is nothing that comes up in court that he is not ready for and able to handle. When hired, his clients are his top priority and will always be available. Like some other large well publicized St Louis defense firms, you will not be passed off to the newest law clerk and he will not strong arm you into a plea deal just to get the easy money. My business was in a dispute with a competitor. I contacted Marc's firm about the matter and was very impressed not only with his knowledge but also his patience when answering the large number of questions I had. My case was certainly not his largest but he took the time to understand my situation and I never felt rushed. Marc very quickly resolved the case in my favor and I thought that our business was done. Some weeks later though, I received a call from Marc making me aware that my competitor was subtlety attacking my business. He told me not to worry that he would take care of it. The Lincoln Club of Orange County is an organization of business men and women that has supported conservative candidates for federal, state, and local office since 1962. Its ability to engage in political activities, including running its own campaigns on behalf of candidates, campaigns that are often called independent expenditures, has been critical to its success for almost 50 years.
In the late 1990s, the City of Irvine and other cities throughout the State of California began restricting the public’s rights to conduct and contribute to independent expenditures, often by limiting the amount of money that could be contributed to, or spent by, an independent expenditure campaign. From the beginning, the Lincoln Club saw these restrictions for what they were: a direct assault on everyone’s First Amendment free speech rights.
The Lincoln Club determined to fight the erosion of our free speech rights by challenging the City of Irvine in federal court, and we interviewed several leading law firms and legal scholars in search of an attorney who would be committed to turning back these intrusions on our fundamental rights. After a long process, we retained Dr. John Eastman and his Claremont Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence. While we did not doubt we should prevail, anyone facing long and difficult litigation knows no outcome is certain. It was Dr. Eastman who won the case.
Dr. Eastman filed our suit against the city in 1999. When we lost the summary judgment motion in the summer of 2000, he immediately appealed to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, so often a hostile forum for conservative causes. After meticulously briefing and urgently arguing the appeal in 2001, a three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit decided in favor of Dr. Eastman’s position and overturned in the trial court decision.
The victory that John Eastman secured for the Lincoln Club was complete. Ultimately, Dr. Eastman was able to secure a court order requiring the city to pay the Lincoln Club’s legal fees. More importantly, Dr. Eastman’s success caused cities and counties all over the State of California and beyond to rescind their restrictions on independent expenditures, setting a critical precedent and securing far broader free-speech rights for every American.
Dr. Eastman crafted the master strategy and all tactics at trial and through appeal. It was his energy, focus, and skill that guided our suit through and won a critical battle against government burdens on speech rights. For this, and so many other reasons, the Lincoln Club continues to hold Dr. Eastman in the highest esteem.

Rachel has been a friend for years but I haven't engaged her until recently for legal. As our newer company was growing we started to run into issues with some of our representatives and non-compete agreements which shouldn't have been an issue in the first place (in my opinion, of course). She offered what I truly believe is a white glove service and took care of everything A to Z while keeping me apprised of the progress.
Rachel truly took the "shock" feeling of receiving a legal threat not only away, but off the table. There's no reason for my company to seek counsel elsewhere as long as my requirements stay within her wheelhouse.
