I was looking for an attorney and overheard someone mention his name. I asked for references and found out very quickly that Barnett wins, and he wins a lot. He met with me and my mother and explained the entire process to us. He told us he could not guarantee how the case would turn out but that he could promise that he would treat my case the way he would want me to treat his case if our roles were reversed. We hired him and we won.

I have no experience with Barnett outside what I witnessed during my fathers trial in which he was accused of very haineous allegations. While watching Barnett in the court room, I knew without a shadow of a doubt that he was dedicated to justice and would stop at nothing to see it served. His presence in the court room is very strong and he conducts himself with the utmost respect for the courts. On a personal level, Barnett has a great sense of humor and has a way of making his clients and their family feel confident and comfortable through such an emotionally draining time. I was a little skeptical and lost hope with my case since it’s a little different and more complicated than some considering I came here as a child, but Cameron was very helpful and communicative throughout the whole entire journey. She had some many helpful resources and was on top of everything at timely manner. Attorney Evans represented me in a difficult divorce. He did a great job in proving my ex-spouse's real income (he was self employed) and getting me the support I needed. When I found Michael, I had just been fired by my second attorney, in a very complicated, difficult, and high stakes divorce case. Terri really knows her stuff! We are in California and Terri's in Washington. All of our communications have been by email or telephoincally. Terri answered all of our questions and worked with us on any ideas we had, relayed possible outcomes of the case depending on which way we went. Her responses to our inquiries were always received within a few days if not within hours. We always felt like she was truly "on our side" in everything. Her fees are very fair and manageable. Recently, I was in need of Admin Law help to deal with a State Agency. After reviewing several law firms I decided to go with Seattle Litigation, and I am glad I did. I contacted Mr. Ford with questions regarding restraining orders and bringing my service dog to work where as my job wasn't wanting to let me. Our group hired Ryan when a government organization near our homes announced a project that had not gone through the proper CEQA and Coastal Development Permit environmental reviews. Ryan succeeded in preserving the public's right to be heard and in getting the organization to conform to the laws to which they should have conformed all along. I can’t say enough about Fox to adequately convey his intelligent strategies, discretion and overall excellent knowledge and preparation of/for a trial.
As my case was nearing the trial date, my former attorney was trying to scare me into settling, telling me I had no choice, telling me to concede and pay an exorbitant settlement. It became clear to me she was not prepared and not comfortable in a trial situation. I sought a second opinion from Fox and within days of meeting with him, he was up to speed on the details of my case, explained what the possible outcomes could be from the trial and that I actually had a strong case to go to trial. Immediately after relieving my former attorney and hiring Mr. Fox, he had discovery materials and subpoenas served, filed motions in support of my case and prepared me for trial.
While the outcome of my day in court was not what I wished for, it was better than I could ever have hoped for without Fox. I ended up with a much better deal than I had thought possible thanks to Fox.

I was impressed from the start, and throughout the pending matter. Matt asked very direct questions and got to the bottom of a complicated issue fast, and prepared a responding motion quickly. He and Adam worked well together and caught several discrepancies in the opposing legal filing which proved it was false. He presented my case concisely before the judge. Very professional. Matt represented me regarding contempt charges against my ex for his refusal to follow the conditions of the divorce decree and turn over assets to me. Complicated and difficult case and I am so very thankful he was on my side representing me. He argued on my behalf so brilliantly and fiercely that my friends who attended the hearing to support me told me afterward how impressed they were with his tenacity, skill, and knowledge. He stood up for me and did not let the opposing attorney get away with a single one of his attempts to twist the truth. Cannot praise Matt and his firm highly enough! I could not have endured the very long and extremely contentious hearing without Matt on my side fighting for me. I don't know how he could argue so well for so long (2 hours!) without making a mistake or showing emotion with what the opposing attorney was claiming, but he did. So instead of feeling completely stressed, I was able to sit back, relax, and let him handle it all. I feel If had hired a lawyer from another firm, I truly would have been in trouble.
