I contacted Keating Law Offices (no relation!) because I knew they have the best reputation when it comes to bicycle law. They got back to me right away and immediately started working. I worked with Michael Keating initially and Bret Franco primarily on a case involving me getting doored downtown in a divvy bike. Bret did a fantastic job. He was communicative and friendly, and truly went above and beyond. Having an attorney that responds within the day, gives you ample information, and keeps you updated constantly is a nice change of pace. Beyond that, i thought the settlement was very fair. The way it was explained and communicated to me made sense, and I have a nice little nest egg. Lastly, quick shoutout for the rest of the staff. People like Flo, Angie, and anyone else behind the scenes that I may not have spoken directly with all did a great job. You can tell they have a smooth operation. I have been a client of Chris Walsh for many years. My recent appeal was denied but in the letter Mr. Walsh stated if I obtain a favorable appraisal he would appeal it to the State Property Tax Appeal Board. What is disturbing is on October 13, 2022, at Mr. Walsh's request, I did obtain a favorable appraisal using the appraiser recommended by Mr. Walsh. I asked the appraiser to send it to Mr. Walsh. On November, 1, 2022 I wrote an email to Mr. Walsh asking if he had everything he needed from me including the appraisal/NO RESPONSE. I have written two emails and left a voicemail to ascertain if Mr. Walsh will be filing an appeal with the State Property Tax Appeal Board. NO RESPONSE. As a fellow member of the bar I find it VERY UNPROFESSIONAL not to respond.
